I made some new arrows for my "Advanced Native American Archery" shooting style. Their fletching is plastic and doesn't get wet or torn apart even if they are whipped by the bow string. The bamboo shafts are strengthened and won't break in a million years and yet they retain their lightness. Their screw tips can hit even rocks full force and never break. No more spoilers! Go and watch it to learn more. OR FACE THE CONCEQUENCES ! (angry face)
I made some new arrows for my Advanced Native American Archery style (HAWK combat system). They are a direct evolution of the traditional art but placed into a modern urban environment. What makes the traditional art so authentic is the LOGIC used. You would use what is available around you, if the environment changes, so do you. You will improvise, adapt and overcome all obstacles.
What is new : I made the bamboo rods extremely durable in comparison with previous versions. After developing layered bulletproof plates, I realized certain secrets in chemistry. Now these arrows can hardly ever break. They can even beat what is around the market. Their arrowheads are made by a convenient screw that can have anything placed there for new effects. But also they can hit rocks directly with full force and they will never break. This design works like a bone and absorbs all levels of impact. Their nocks are now designed to be smooth enough so that you can speed shoot without them getting stuck anywhere but also with rough dimples up to the level that it stops them from slipping away from your fingers even when they are wet with oil. This oval shape also secures the arrow on the string way better and you can pull it back much easier. peaking of wetness, they have become completely waterproof and will float on the surface if they fall in a pond or river and so on. Their heavier tip slows them down if they are going down the stream, so you can get them before they get lost. The materials used on top of the bamboo are perfect for spray paint. So you can make camo stealth arrows or even bright ones to find them very easily during training. And the biggest secret is the fletching. Even though the Native two strands fletching remains as the logic, the feathers themselves were exchanged with fishing line and four layers of transparent polypropylene tape (scotch tape). They can bend and become non existent when they pass through your bow hand on release, so you are never getting any redness from your scratched sore skin. This also affects the flight as it completely evades the archer's paradox. The rotation of the arrow on air remains intense and makes the arrow fly VERY far away. It's the optimal solution for light and short bow users. It's an upgrade that makes these bows relevant even among stronger bows PLUS speed. Speaking of speed, now this fletching doesn't tear apart even if whipped by the bow string, even if hit the opposite side. Not to mention that they can never go bad if water falls on them. And of course none of the above would matter if the arrows weren't very lightweight. Carry as much as your quiver can fit. A complete tutorial will come out soon on how to craft them along with a bow so stay tuned and God bless you!

No camera was harmed in the making of this video. With a little twitch of editing the arrow appears to hit your face directly to unlock the surprise that will forever haunt your dreams. This is the fate of those who didn't like and subscribe the main videos. You have unleashed this plague on yourselves.
A funny short for the LOLs to make your day a little better. The original unedited clip was used briefly in my latest main video upload and will be used again in the next one. See you later everyone and have fun! Life is too bitter already to not be free spirited.
After a very difficult "travel" I came back to my current home being exhausted mentally. I did absolutely nothing for two entire months, then after Christmas, I decided to heal again and so, here I am. But in the meantime I managed to work a lot on the store/company that I promised. I am still certifying certain products before publishing them but everything is almost set. You will receive announcements about everything. Stay tuned.

Yet another Advanced Native American Archery (Hawk combat system) video coming up! This time I will explore a theory that came to me. Water spins from a certain side when draining, depending if we are north, south or ON the equator. So does the fletching rotation side matter?? Does it benefit the archer to mind that detail? Also, is the earth's magnetic field affecting our skills? Does it matter if we face the north when aiming? We'll find out with my recorded experiment. See you in a few days!
A short clip isolating some cool moments from one of my main long videos. A small sample of my hand to hand combat system techniques for self defense. Disarming and defeating an enemy who holds a long baton while you are unarmed. I cut the opponent on the root of his force and I neutralize the hit. I gain control and bust forward behind his defense. In the first half I am sparring with my marine friend Andrew Liosis.
A short video about moving slowly behind two enemy sentinels and taking them out by using stealthy techniques. I have covered how to move silently in a previous video. As soon as I reach the closest enemy target, I shoot the farther one first. The one in front of me is a certain success already. So I am using a scout-sniper logic on the priority of getting my targets. I am using the time it takes for the arrow to hit the distant target to my advantage. The delay the arrow has to make the hit gives me plenty of time to toss my bow and grab the head of the guard in front of me. That way I give no time to them being alert as both hits happen at the same time. This headlock is deadly and as you can see... by the way this thick branch breaks... we can tell that a neck would be easier. These are some of the old Native American war techniques used in ambushes.

These scenes are from my upcoming movie "The Mayan Book". I am still working on the sound for the movie and some more scenes are missing before it is out. Some of my music heard in this video might be used in the final movie too. I am demonstrating how you can make a very simple bow for basic self defense or small gave hunting and fishing. The goal of this skill is to be able to arm yourself within an hour. Certainly if you had more time, you would be able to create a much better bow. While I am "lost" in the jungle, I am using my bare hands to create everything I need. I collect fibers from palm trees or anything available that is good enough. I weave the string and then move on the next step. I find a good solid cane to use as my bow shaft. I am using a simple technique as seen in the video to shape it in the right size for my string. The end result is a very basic and light longbow. For the arrows I collect fallen reeds of the same thickness. After making a batch of straight rods, I create their arrowheads. Nothing too fancy. Just broken and sharpened river cane fragments. I wrap them together with the idea that once they hit the target, the blade will break and remain inside, causing further damage with every step. For the fletching I am using some simple leaves. Even if they fall off when you shoot them, they will have already served their purpose and the featherless arrow will still fly straight. For the Atlatl spear and it's thrower I used the same logic and with that simple branch I used, I am proving how easy it is to arm yourself in a hurry if you are in such an environment. Another notice that will be analyzed further in the next videos : long sharpened reed arrows with no fletching will still shoot straight for hunting purposes in the jungle. In fact, such an arrow can be made instantly and shot immediately. That's why learning to use nockless arrows matters. These skills are known to the Guarani and all other Amazonian tribes. Cheers!

This is kind of a different video that usual. I gathered many clips from various trainings I did in 2022 and I made some commentary about my philosophy. This video does not include archery itself but RELATES to my archery skills. I am explaining how I train certain skills in a "side way". Everything is correlated. Train one skill, and another skill is raised as well. Sounds like some kind of MMORPG abilities system and indeed it is. It's called "life"... "earth" server. Never in life one successful thing stands by it's own. There is an entire line of temple columns holding it from below. Each column represents an entire chapter of our achievements in life. In this video I felt more free to express some of my philosophy. My way of thinking and acting. If you feel that my story helps you in any way then I am thankful for that. I wish you all blessings from above.

Hello everyone. Another little skill revealed :p . "Oh look, that guy looks like Steven Seagal!". Yeah people, I know. I have a mirror XD
If you are in a situation of emergency and you have to rappel down to safety (maybe there is a fire or any other disaster and you are on a building) then you will use such a knot to be able and rappel down. Once you are down then you can grab the other end of the rope and pull it down. It will come right off and you won't lose your rope. Imagine if you have to rappel again after the first one to fully reach safety. Like when it comes to canyoning. You would need to be able and keep the rope with you. Maybe Sam and Frodo simply were taught this technique by the elves instead of having a magic rope.
Not an archery short this time :p
The title says it all! The new rising intelligent species will soon take over the planet. They will enslave us and demand pets, treats and to scratch us for no reason. Our favorite Lady can speak fluent Meow and is our representative between the two civilizations. Her rank of power among the order of felines is keeping us safe so far. So NEVER make her angry! Keep us safe empress of cats! After she recorded this short video and we played it back, I kept noticing that the meows of her cat were words that actually make sense. The audio is 100% real. Only one logical explanation exists. ALIENS! :O

In this video, I am making a traditional bow and arrows, as I was taught by my father that was confirmed later in life by other people as well. By recreating such a bow and studying the traditional ways of shooting, I am able to recreate the lost art of fast and accurate archery by the Indigenous nations all across the Turtle Island continent (America). The king of fast archery Lars Andersen made a video about the Comanche archery. People misunderstood and thought that ONLY the Comanche nation was capable of these skills, when in fact, this art was well spread among all tribes. In the video I am briefly explaining some factors on why only the Comanche are credited with such skill. They were the last frontier, they had enough time to know what these invaders wanted from them and they got access to horses. The tank, the super weapon of the era. They were ready, they were prepared and they were determined to defend themselves in ways that other tribes didn't have the chance. Only them being credited with such skills is a misconception and the art should simply be known as "Native American short bow archery". You can watch Lars' video by clicking on the link below :
youtube.com/watch?v=liHlCRpS70k
Warning, this is just ONE of the styles and bows used by the tribes. I do not claim that my way is the only way nor do I say that this bow was the only type of bow made. But what I am saying is that THIS bow was the most common and well spread. It's way of being used and created reveals the mentality of the unified Amerindian civilization. You make extra steps to keep trees alive, so you take as little as possible from them. You get to create a bow that can shoot anything, even nockless arrows made on the spot by random sticks. Even if not the best wood is available, you still get to make a functional bow, as the technique used to shoot won't break it. As many tribes entered into alliances with European factions, they started being treated as primitive so their traditional weapons were replaced with firearms and metal. Such archery skills takes a lot of practice and if they are abandoned even for a little bit, distance is made and the art gets forgotten. The great warriors who held these skills wouldn't survive to teach their arts to the new generations. The mentality of a warrior is indomitable so it's only natural that those people held their ground to the bitter end. And their stories survive as legends about how good they were. What I am actually doing in this video is that I recreate these skills to prove them real. I am definitely not the BEST but my contribution is good enough to prove some points. There are many videos out there analyzing this historical archery and they did a lot of hard work to make them. So it's better if you watch their videos and get well informed about the subject. The following link shows Join Willie Pekah explain this traditional art :

What the new trailer shows keeps getting proven by everyone as completely impractical and not accurate to the slightest. With such a big budget they could do the slightest research and promote something real, something authentic. Instead of "de powah of de wahman wins it all". I think they got confused by the Ishi shooting style. But again, the Ishi style in practice and theory looks nothing alike. These following videos shed light on this style and are very informative. The only difference with what these talented archers showed in their videos compared to what I do is that I manage to use NOCKLESS arrows. So my conclusion is that this new movie lost a great opportunity to promote real skills and real history. But of course, I guess it's just a movie. Still, they give US the opportunity to make videos like this. So, cheers and enjoy.

This is a short video made by one of my older uploads. Canyoning is the extreme sport of passing through a canyon as the name suggests. It can be short or long routes with various levels of difficulty. It's one of the most technical and dangerous sports out there. It takes experience and good guidance before daring to go in there. Your equipment are vital if you want to survive and have a good time. When you are hit by water, the entire game changes and it stops being just a normal rappel. Don't underestimate the forces at hand. When you reach the high point on a mountain to reach the entrance of a canyon you consider how long the route is. How many rappels it has and what height is the highest. Canyons rarely have any exits until their finishing point. So if you don't have proper and spare equipment, you may get stuck between two slippery tall waterfall cliffs. With no way going up or down and with the sound of running water covering your voice. Consider these above as a good warning and preparation and appreciate this awesome sport for it's difficulty.

This is a compilation of some of my rappelling clips throughout the years. Each clip was taken from a different military training. As many of you already know, I am an instructor for various teams and corps. I am using the most simplistic gear. Two iron carabiners and a swiss seat tied together by a paracord. I use iron carabiners because they don't get damaged as much as aluminum ones. Especially while zip lining on a wire rope. The first one gets all the friction and builds on heat. So I am using a second carabiner in between the first one and my harness. That way my rope won't get heat damage. My harness is only a rope tied together (swiss seat) because it saves me weight and space. When rappelling is done for military purposes, certain luxuries must be dropped. You are carrying so many things and a better harness won't help you. Plus, a good rope can be repurposed when not rappelling. While I am rappelling in these videos, I am showing certain techniques. I am showing how to take it slow if your gear can't take too much. I am showing how to go fast if needed, how to stay balanced, how to use your brake both while on the wall and while on mid air. I am not entirely horizontal because I am not hanging entirely. I have the luxury to change my stance from horizontal to vertical and back again. This technique is good when you have to pass through a narrow entrance below or when you need to make some impetus to enter a window. It's like using a swing. Good timing and technique will give you full control of your movement while coming down.

To make a long video short, this video contains clips from previous videos put together about shooting cans or bottles from a relatively long distance accurately. The final part shows me shooting through a narrow hole a target that sits behind it. My bows are used in such a way that I am totally avoiding the "archer's paradox" as my arrows fly straight. So they don't hit the walls on the sides. Enjoy!

In this video I combined all the clips I have with me sword fighting against my friend Zach Apollonatos. An Airborne commando. Time to enjoy some HEMA once again. The first part happened some years ago. Around 2016. The second part was taken from one of the more recent videos uploaded here. I have started separating such videos into more solid themes. Especially when they were first uploaded into event videos where I combined too many elements. Here it can be appreciated much easier for what it is. Many fingers were harmed in the making of this video. Ouchy!

Yet another short video. What a surprise! I know, I know, shhh now :D . I collected some cool moments from one of my long videos and combined them together. Today's theme is shooting at my 6 (at my back side) with various techniques from my Advanced Native American Archery style. The coolest looking one is of course the one described in the title. I jump and do a 360° on air. Before landing back down, I take an accurate shot at my target. If you watch the full video you'll find out more about these techniques as I explain them in much better detail.

In this short video I am shooting on the wooden "tripod" as close as possible to my camera. This gives the effect of the viewer being shot at. Scary isn't it? The incoming arrows hit the wood and it vibrates the camera attached on it. So you can feel the shock. No camera has ever been harmed in the making of these type of videos. I guess.... you should better like and subscribe before this arrow comes out of your screen (angry face). I hope you enjoy and stay tuned! Daily shorts are here.

This is another short trailer for one of my older videos. My bow is a bamboo bundle bow made by me. It is a 30lbs light bow and it shoots nockless arrows. I start by rapidly shooting at 3 targets. I used on my second shot the "turning arrows" technique to hit a surface that was not facing me. I continue with another rapid shot by using three arrows in a row. Then I am showing how to use the arrow's curb at your advantage. I take cover and shoot through a window. The arrow finds it's mark while I remain covered. The next clips are some accurate shots on targets placed on doors and windows. The last clip is a more relaxed performance of me rapidly shooting towards the camera. Enjoy.

My bow in this video is 35lbs heavy. Consider this to be a trailer for the main video linked above. I am taking some accurate shots on small items far away and on moving targets. I am using a sharp tip on one side of the bow. This has been done by certain Native American tribes on war bows. When needed, the bow can turn into a spear.

This video contains the coolest archery clips taken from videos that have been uploaded after the first main documentary about this style. I edited them to fix the light, colors and make them sharper so they can reach their highest definition possible. This should give a nice uninterrupted flow of cool looking trickshots for everyone's enjoyment without any unnecessary commentary. Thank you for being here all this time! The future is bright so stay tuned while we reach new levels on everything. Also, the intro animation was upgraded again. It is a symbol for many to see but for only a few to understand.

Another archery video. I am using my usual 30 lbs short bows and short arrows. But this time I am using my latest upgraded prototype. A video will be dedicated on that. It's made to resist all elements, it's waterproof, fire retardant, it resists solar radiation and it's way more durable than before. It can be used as a quarterstaff for melee combat without it's bow attributes getting damaged. It is also extremely silent and it's arrows have new indestructible plastic "feathers" as fletching. This bow seen in the video is already sold for 200$. Enjoy some cool shots and a more detailed tutorial about how I load my nockless arrows fast on my string and bow. How I shoot them and how I give a nice little empowering push with my bow hand. This push also serves to avoid the archer's paradox, so my arrow flies straight. This helps when you are shooting through small holes in ambush attacks. My good friend was the cameraman and stuntman : ~S.A.S~xDeathoRx for this video. He knows he can trust me enough to risk staying on the target while I shoot right next to him just to get the best angle shots. The results can be seen in the video. Enjoy and happy Orthodox Easter! This video contains various tips about military skills given "casually". May they be used for good by people who struggle for survival in these troubled times. It may not be a full on tutorial but it still contains key lessons for those with some experience already. The happier looking clips were taken before the new war started. We included small samples from different days of training. Mainly the two drill instructors are seen performing for this video (Panagiotis Saltz Caballerato) and (Andrew Liosis). Most members aren't seen to protect their identities. Some new recruits agreed to appear as well and we thank them for that. They will be public proof of how fast our lessons make them progress. In the next videos they won't be noticed as any different from the other troops. Throughout this video we are simply training and not really performing in full speed. We prefer to show our techniques a little better to those who wish to learn. As always, those who train with us will understand what is seen much easier. The first part is all about knives. One uses a normal combat knife and the other a karabit claw. I most definitely recommend the latter. After exploring some slow techniques, we proceeded to showing what these items can do. Then, we enjoyed some freeplay fights with their plastic sheath on for our protection. The logic in these confrontations is to slice up anything the enemy brings closest to you. Especially his attacking hand, before jumping further in for the finishing move. It's like a snake and a cat fighting each other. It takes good timing and distance perception. The next part is hand to hand combat. Martial arts and self defense. If you mean to train for the actual field, then learn to carry a lot of weight on you. Especially body armor level III, rifle rated. As a manufacturer, I have armed my guys with these vests and plates but that's a cool topic for another video. with this extra weight on, we are fighting each other with control. We use MMA gloves only as some extra protection in case we accidentally hit each other. Just to show the good example for a Youtube video. Many moves done in those clips would be actual hits, but we don't play as a competition. This training is only for each one of us to see what would work and what wouldn't work. If competition enters the heads of trainees, most of the time, the essence of the training is lost and we seek points instead of realism. Let new recruits first see what they can do without receiving training. This will allow them to determine where exactly they are placed in the scale of levels. It will also make them understand why they have to train and why they should listen to your lessons. Freeplays create the needed realistic instinct before going into any real situations. The third part of the video is about using strategy to maneuver around more than one enemies chasing you. The logic behind this drill is to move in such ways that no more than two people can physically fit next to you to get you. Use their movement to redirect them away from you and use them as a shield against their own comrades. The fourth part is my favorite as it is all about melee weapons combat. Close distance fights with more traditional weapons. I especially like the part where one is unarmed and the other one has a weapon like a baton. In the fighting clips we are moving around measuring each other. At many points we could had finished our hits but for safety reasons we preferred to just move as seen. In the disarming clips the main logic behind these skills is to grab the source of the enemy's striking movement. All of the force is near the tip of a melee weapon. If you block and control the enemy's hands then all of this hitting force is neutralized. Use your elbows to keep the weapon away from your body and invade "inside" his space to move the game into the "wrestling" close distance. Be swift with your moves and invade when the enemy has hit and missed. Before drawing back his extended and exhausted stance. The fifth part has various military tactical lessons. Some of our latest recruits are seen thriving in their first week of training. The topics picked by this part deserve complete videos on their own. The last part is a simple strategy sample to teach our people how to think and plan while in hostile situations. How to make the best out of any situation. Thanks for watching and God bless you all. Stay sane and ethical. Never allow anything to take away who you really are.
All techniques and tactics seen in this video, especially by the drill instructors : Panagiotis Saltzis Kavalieratos (Caballero) and Andrew Liosis belong to the "Hawk" combat system. Spoilers : A small example of what a message given is : People should train with anything they have. Airsoft? Pellet guns? A simple broom? The real deal? As long as they understand what drill they simulate then they have to improvise. Especially if they are stranded somewhere or in a situation. If you are one of OUR troops then you are able to create everything no matter where you are. Not just material things but also mentality and situations.

We can finally continue my series of this special art. New content is shown in this video. This time I am simulating the saddle, a horseback and how someone can shoot fast and accurate from there at ALL directions. Because it's hard for me to have often access to horses and be able to record some action, I am using a motorcycle instead. We have noticed how archery with horses seems to be limited on shooting on just the left side if you are right handed, or it's mirroring, on the right side if you are left handed. Scenario : "An Apache warrior is escaping on horseback from his persecutors with cowboy hats. He has little time to hit back with his arrows before they get him first with their revolvers. But they are all behind him and around him in uncomfortable spots to shoot. But this warrior knows the needed special skills to do it.". In this video I am using my body in the best way possible to be fast and accurate to be able to shoot at any spot around me. Three new techniques are shown. One on how to shoot back while turning from the left side (I am right handed just for the record), and two more while shooting on the right side. I am using some physics to keep my stability on the bow as it will be shown in the video. Especially if I am galloping with a horse. As a reminder. My arrows are nockless and they are made to have a short draw. This special bow recipe is made for fast shooting, just like using a pistol. The continuation of this video will focus on some fun shooting with a running motorcycle.

Team Betake "Hawk" (Ομάδα ΟΔΕΥΩ "Ιέραξ") helped me create this event and we invited our friends and their families to have an enjoyable day full of fun and education. I introduced them into the historical art that was taught to me by my father and then later I evolved it into the military "Hawk Combat" system that includes this archery with the name "Advanced Native American Archery". The "Advanced" part describes the many modern technological advancements in both crafting the bows and arrows but also in skill. Many new people came this time and I took my time to pass on these skills. Everyone did great and I congratulate you all for it. To keep everyone busy we included more activities like : Atlatl spear and thrower, firearms - air guns - airsoft target practice, crossbows and bolts and some martial arts. Special thanks to the drill instructors who helped me with this event : Andreas Liosis, Spyros Koulis, Leonidas Tsavalos and our camera man : ~S.A.S~xDeathoRx .

This video was recorded many years ago. I mainly posted it to archive my memories from our shut down North Athens Study Group ARMA (Association of Renaissance Martial Arts). At "Shantom" multi school, owned by Leda Shantala. I have been a student of George Bastakis Schinas and these clips were the result of our many years of training. Thank you teacher for the awesome lessons and skills you passed on to me and everyone else. Hopefully we can make some more content together again. In the following clips I am shown practicing some shadow boxing and hitting the "training dummy" with a longsword.

Mount Hymettus, Prosilio Ridge (Προσήλιο).Trail difficulty : IV+, UIAA.
During that day, our Team Betake "Hawk" (Ομάδα ΟΔΕΥΩ "Ιέραξ") corps had guard duty on mount Hymettus to patrol the area against arsonists. The roads were closed for civilians to avoid accidents. In collaboration with the Hellenic Police and the Fire Department, we performed our "Rescuer" training while being constantly in contact with them. From our spot we had a clear view on the whole half side of the entire sierra. If we saw any suspicious movements or smoke we would had informed instantly the patrols below to start moving.
The ridge was hard but truly enjoyable and it prepared some of us for the next ridge on mount Olympus. These trainings are part of our "Rescuer" school. We learn and train on our climbing and abseiling gear and we learn to work as a team. That makes us fast and fearless operators. If you can be so fast on such a terrain, then any other realistic situation where you may be needed to perform a rescue... will be easy.
Chris Patsialos and myself didn't use the proper climbing shoes for the entire ridge. That puts an extra level of difficulty on both of us. Congratulations to everyone who participated! Everyone successfully passed the entire trail and we scored a perfect time.

Team Betake "Hawk" (Ομάδα ΟΔΕΥΩ "Ιέραξ") was out into the mountains again. This was an easier course to enjoy the fresh air and stay fit. Most of these hiking exercises are done as part of our Mountain Marathon preparations for some of us who will participate. Unfortunately while running there, we barely ever gather videos. To finish such demanding runs we can't afford to even carry a phone as an extra weight. For SOME of us, the drill was like any other. While being there, we enjoyed the company of the local friendly deer. We loaded heavy bags and went forward with a military speed. The final 6 kilometers / 3.7 miles were finished by running down through a canyon. During that point, my faulty old boots lost their soles so I ended up running all the way down with my socks. Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. Just because I lost a tool it doesn't mean that I won't finish successfully my mission. Everyone had fun that day and our exercise gave us further endurance and experience on mountains.

Yet another long Rucksack course by the Team Betake "Hawk" (Ομάδα ΟΔΕΥΩ "Ιέραξ"). Our bags were loaded with 10 to 15 kilos / 22 - 33 pounds and we finished a distance of 25 kilometers / 15.5 miles. We started from Dionysos, behind mount Penteli and we reached Rapentosa waterfall. With a small zip lining we crossed to the other side and continued our way to go back and reach our vehicles. The children that were with us proved to be full of energy and didn't get tried. We started at noon and finished after nightfall. This was a more family friendly event. Our families were with us and we had a fun time outside into the wild. Although the distance remained long and the road was full of thorny bushes, we kept laughing and enjoying our time. As always, the drill instructors took care of everyone like true guardian angels. Even the least experienced finished it all while receiving the needed help to discover their true inner power.

In this video our corps Team Betake "Hawk" (Ομάδα Οδεύω "Ιέραξ") was invited by Giannis Charbilas along with other teams and friends to perform a high rappelling drill from a bridge of Corinth's Isthmus (Ισθμός της Κορίνθου). This lesson is part of our Rescuer schools. But also helps everyone defeat the fear of heights, especially for our future paratroopers. The height was 50 meters / 164 feet. No matter how many times you may do this, you will always have some fear while changing your body's position from vertical to horizontal. But after that point it becomes a walk in the park and you get to enjoy the ride all the way down. When reaching down, you have to walk a distance of 3 kilometers to reach the bridge again. That distance is enough to think about what you achieved. The drill instructors make sure that everyone is 100% safe.

Team Betake "Hawk" (Ομάδα Ο.Δ.Ε.Υ.Ω. "Ιέραξ" ) Finished a 30 kilometers / 18.6 miles course with heavy loaded rucksacks (bags) at night on mount (sierra) Parnitha. The lightest bags were 18 kilos / 39 pounds. It was raining at first and that made the paths slippery because of the mud. For the most part we were inside the cloud. The drill took us 11 hours to finish. Lights were not used at all. Everything was done in darkness and our scout specialists guided the team successfully. There were two paths. One was the short for those who would not be able to finish the school and the long one for those who claimed the "Raider" badge. Congratulations to everyone who participated, especially to those who finished the school. Along with us, we always have families and newbies. The goal is to train on being able to help civilians pass through the hardest terrain and situations even if they are not soldiers. This type of convoy is the most realistic in moments of emergency. As always, a selected few finished the distance with a 3 miles running. Enjoy!
