It's quite a bit different than the mail glitches from generation 2, and Ruby & Sapphire have a unique trait that makes them different from Pokémon Emerald, FireRed, and LeafGreen. With the use of QMM (Question Mark Mail), glitch tiles of our choice can be added to various maps throughout the game, potentially giving us game breaking effects. Is it possible to cross the water on Route 103 without Surf? Find out in this video!

Between the unlikely odds and the clunky RNG, shiny Pokémon, especially shiny starters, felt every bit as rare as 1/8192... and sometimes more! Thankfully, this featured exploit using the game’s own RNG, will give us the ability to guarantee a shiny starter with ease. An added bonus is that this exploit also makes encountering, wild and legendary, shiny Pokémon a breeze too! Which will be featured in a future video, stay tuned!
Yes, in terms of shiny hunting, these are deemed as "RNG clones" which usually aren't recognized as legitimate shiny Pokémon in the shiny hunting community... the way I see it, these are shiny Pokémon that sparkle and look pretty (usually) and our time is valuable. I think it is totally reasonable to use this method when the RNG in these games (especially Emerald) is broken. Of course, it takes the fun out of _shiny hunting_ but they’re still wonderful to admire… and they don’t take a lifetime to acquire!

[Links] Okay, funny story, I was using Pokéfinder 4.1.2 for this video. That is many versions behind... and at the time of this video Pokéfinder 4.3.2 is latest version but the process is still the same, the UI will just look different. (thanks to Admiral-Fish!)
Once again, if you have any questions or issues please let me know. Yes, the UI might look different because of the version of Pokéfinder I used, but this process will still work in newer versions! Please feel free to like, share, and subscribe, as it would greatly help out the channel. Also, let us know how quickly you got your shiny starter! Finally, thank you guys so much for watching and have fun with the RNG!10 Pokémon Myths Debunked Using Gen 1 GlitchesFranzboy2026-08-01 | The generation one Pokémon games have been around for quite some time, even before the times of widespread use of the internet and easy access to any video game answers we desired. Missingno does have a practical use, being capable of duplicating items in the sixth slot when encountered, thus one of the many reasons why it became infamous. Despite its ability to crash the game, it has shown from experience and research, that it does not critically harm the save file. It will, however, corrupt any Hall of Fame entries of the current save file. Have you seen any better methods of encountering Missingno? Let us know in the comments! As I mentioned, this video originally had a different plot in mind. However, I decided to take a more "typical" approach of showcasing these glitches. The original idea for this video was to make it more of a creepypasta like video. If you guys would be interested in a video like that, let me know.
Anyway, thank you guys so much for watching! This is especially true in the generation 1 Pokémon games as changing the color palette and sprite of Pokémon is very entertaining in RBY. The same can be said for gen 2, as the merge glitch still exists in GSC, however, shiny Pokémon were also introduced into the gen 2 games... makes you wonder how they might be affected by this glitch…

They may or may not have been covered already on my channel, regardless, this series will cover some basic background, how the glitch works, uses, and typically will provide a step by step example of how to perform the glitch. And for this first video, some personal favorites will be covered! Enjoy!

That brings us to the topic of this video, The Johto Guard Glitch or officially known as the Time Capsule Exploit nowadays. It's a great glitch/exploit that allows us to send gen 2 Pokémon to gen 1! Gen 1 had a lot of glitch Pokémon and most of them became "real" Pokémon in gen 2... however, there are still a few index numbers that still have placeholder glitch Pokémon and I'll cover those in this video.
As I mentioned, I'm skipping the glitch Unown with plans to give them their own video in future.

You've might have seen the last one from Pokémon Yellow... if not, I recommend it as that video featured some glitches only possible in Pokémon Yellow or glitches that had more use in Pokémon Yellow.
As for the glitches of this video, see the timestamps below:

This is likely to be one of very few as there are not that many "small glitches" that don't warrant their own video. To be honest, it seems a lot of the glitches stem from one of the "big glitches" in gen 2. Nonetheless, we have this video that offers some pretty neat effects! Check the timestamps below for better navigation:

And see you next time!Magical Coin Case and Mail Writer - Lets Glitch Pokémon Gold: Part 4Franzboy2025-06-19 | There's a handful of fun things to show in today's video... Firstly, the Coin Case glitch, which can be used to perform Arbitrary Code Execution (ACE). This can be used to get a Wrong Pocket TM/HM, which also utilizes ACE, and can be setup to utilize the Mail Writer as if it were a Gameshark code.
I couldn't have set up this method any better myself and it is likely the most effective method to date (in regards to using the Mail Writer, ACE, and Coin Case). I don't deserve the credit that belongs to: *TimoVM* a YouTuber who created a fantastic video that I highly recommend.

It is essentially the same as the 2nd Generation Cloning Glitch, but the timing of the reset is different. The Bad Clone Glitch will give us our first glitch Pokémon of this series! Though, it will be hybridized with the Pokémon used to obtain it.
Correction from 8:03
The number of Pokémon in the active box needs to be larger than the original number when the save file is loaded.
Example: - save file starts with 15 Pokémon in active box - three Pokémon are added, making 18 the total of the active box - this will allow the glitch to work
Now if I were to save the game, 18 will be the new total for the save file - if 8 Pokémon were then released and the game was saved, 10 would be the new total - at this point 14 Pokémon in the active box would be enough for the glitch to work again
**Keep in mind, the game does NOT fully save even when the cloning glitch succeeds, that's actually what makes the glitch work in the first place lol
Oh and btw 44 h y is Bayleef in gen 2!
Let me know what you guys thought of this video! I apologize about the confusion that occurred, but hopefully that was summed up well in the description above here. Anyway, thank you guys so much for watching and enjoy!!How to get All 3 Starters in Pokémon GoldFranzboy2025-06-05 | Welcome to the first video of my Pokémon Gold How to series! As the title says, this video will show how to exploit the game and allow you to get all three starters in Pokémon Gold relatively easy!
I do recommend practicing the Gen 2 Cloning glitch a few times before trying this as it will make your life much easier and has the potential to save you time if things don't work properly. Check the video link I've provided: youtu.be/nlgmeC6T1PY
As always, thank you guys for watching and I hope you all enjoy. Please feel free to comment any suggestions here for the series and what you thought of this video! Cheers and see you guys next time!2nd Generation Cloning Glitch - Lets Glitch Pokémon Gold: Part 2Franzboy2025-05-31 | Here's a glitch everyone and their brother might know! Cloning Pokémon using the PC in generation 2. It's a quick and great way to clone Pokémon and duplicate items!
The timing window is the same in Gold/Silver, however, it is a little different in Crystal.
I didn't cover the different variations of “bad” clones, Pokémon you can possibly get from doing this glitch, as I'll be covering the "bad" clone in the next part, at the very least. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and will stick around for the next one! Thanks for watching!Lets Glitch Pokémon Gold Part 1: IntroFranzboy2025-05-27 | Hello everybody and welcome to my Let's Glitch Pokémon Gold series! A disclaimer for this video is that I used a Gameshark code to get walk through walls early. This is necessary to show off an effect that MissingnoXpert showed a long time ago, however, I got a different effect instead... how fun!

I hope you guys enjoyed and thank you for watching! How to get Mewtwo BEFORE Beating the Elite Four in Pokémon YellowFranzboy2025-05-15 | Here's a relatively simple and straight forward method on how to get Mewtwo almost immediately after obtaining surf!
There are a few prerequisites for performing this glitch:
Flyer/teleporter Surfer x255 stack of a tossable item (use missingno.) expanded item bag (use dry underflow glitch) Rival's effect item (use expanded item bag)
Alternatively, you could use the safari zone gate glitch to get walk through walls, but I believe that this method is better.
Sorry about the mic loudness in this video, my recording software deciding to make me that loud this time, however, it should work out as it should be easier to understand me while still being able to hear a little bit of the game audio. (I will, however, optimize for next time i.e. mic a little quieter and game audio a little louder).
Once again thank you guys so much for watching! And I hope you guys enjoy!!How to Duplicate Items in Pokémon Yellow with Expanded Item BagFranzboy2025-05-07 | There are quite a few ways to duplicate items in Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow. One super easy, simple way is with the expanded item bag! All you really need is a stack of 255 of one tossable item and you're golden! (a flyer might help too lol)
Let me know down below what you guys think of this Pokémon Yellow How to series, if popular enough, I'd consider making one of Red/Blue as well as future generations! As always, thank you guys for watching and I hope you enjoy!!How to Clone Pokémon in Pokémon Yellow (Trade Method on Emulator)Franzboy2025-05-02 | Today we'll see a relatively simple method of cloning Pokémon in gen 1 (not just in Pokémon Yellow woot!). A little disclaimer is that this may not work on official hardware... as I mentioned, it did not work on Virtual Console.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed! Thank you for watching, as always, and see you in the next one!How to Beat Pokémon Yellow Stupidly FASTFranzboy2025-04-28 | You might have seen it once before, but the SRAM or Save abuse glitch opens many doors in Pokémon Yellow. This video will show you guys how to set up the SRAM glitch and how to use it for warping.

It's time we battle another Ultima trainer and decide which one is best!
To sum up, both LGPY and LGPB will take a break for awhile. I will start Let's Glitch Pokémon Gold for the next Let's Glitch, however in the meantime, I'll be releasing videos of Pokémon Yellow How to. Gen 2 has glitches that can interact with gen 1, so of course, I'll go back to gen 1 at some point!
Like the intro? I might consider making them more often if you guys enjoy it enough, lemme know! Thanks for watching and Enjoy!Glitch Pokémon Vs. Glitch Trainers - Lets Glitch Pokémon Blue: Part 29Franzboy2025-04-15 | Once again we will look at some glitch Pokémon and see them do battle against some "glitch" trainers. While they are considered to be glitch trainers, their teams were a bit underwhelming and did not include any glitch Pokémon. With that being the case, it is likely I will feature one/all of these trainers having at least one interesting team. The same will apply to future videos similar to this one.
Sorry about the staticky mic, I know how to fix this so it will not show up again. (Well, at least until it randomly happens again =P). Anyway, thank you guys for watching! And I hope you enjoy!Glitch Maps - Lets Glitch Pokémon Blue: Part 28Franzboy2025-04-08 | Glitch maps or glitch areas, with high AreaDex index numbers, typically create a map that resembles a glitch city. With a use of an 8F item code, we'll be able to explore these glitch areas with much ease.
As I mentioned, a commenter talked about a 'fiery glitch hell' in Pokémon Red. It is not doable in Pokémon Red, only in the Japanese version of Pokémon Yellow. It sounds really cool and chickasaurusGL covered it in one of her videos, I recommend checking it out!
Here is the item code for walk through walls (no ledge required)
8F/4F any item (any qty) Lemonade (x1) TM34 (x56) TM05 (x201) X Attack (x64)
It's highly possible that glitch maps will be featured in a future video of Pokémon Red Glitch Journey and Let's Glitch Pokémon Yellow, so be on the lookout for those!

Once again, thank you for watching and I hope to see you in the next one!International Fossil Conversion Glitch - Lets Glitch Pokémon Blue: Part 19 [Remastered]Franzboy2025-03-25 | Like in the original, we'll use LM4, to get an expanded Pokémon party via Super Glitch. And with the expanded party and some fossils, we can get pretty much any Pokémon in the game!
LM4 has suitable moves starting at level 7. Body Slam Doubleslap Water Gun Hypnosis
and LM4 learns Super Glitch at level 24 (use Celadon Mansion Safe Spot) - Replace Hypnosis with Super Glitch to have these moves: Body Slam Doubleslap Water Gun Super Glitch (usually blank)
To reduce the expanded party size: Replace Doubleslap with TM05 (mega kick) in the Celadon Mansion Safe Spot. Get a new corruption. Deposit Charizard M's into the PC to empty party.
After terminating your name and talking (and saying no) to the nurse. You'll be able to save your game. The next part will show you how to get your old name back plus more! Thank you for watching and hope to see you then!Brock Through Walls - Lets Glitch Pokémon Blue: Part 18 [Remastered]Franzboy2025-03-17 | Another remaster, another video involving Brock through walls lol. An early game variation of walk through walls. It is easily done in Pokemon Red/Blue and has many sub-glitches associated with it, this video will cover *most* of those.
Once again, let me know what you guys think of these remastered videos! Hopefully, this one was more enjoyable than the original, enjoy!
