If you do the stick slashes for the beamos megaflip on the beamos platform rather than on the moving platform, do a sidehop left after landing from the beamos megaflip and then sidewalk. The rest of the setup works the same, except the last megaflip only has 1 working roll frame now (frame 2).

I beat A Link Between Worlds while only merging into a wall 20 times. Merging is one of the game's main mechanics, so this run aims to beat the game while doing it as few times as possible, using many tricks and clever routing to achieve this. Goal: Beat the game. Timing starts on file select and ends upon defeating Demise.
This is using the TAS route which is too difficult to be performed by humans. The route is identical to the RTA route up to beating Skyview, but then in Eldin it performs 2 cutscene wrong warps using fadeout trick to get to Hylia's Temple and open the door to the Horde. The CSWW to get to Hylia's Temple requires having the entrance from a specific cave in Eldin, which requires 3 lava hops to enter and exit, which is the most TAS only part of this run, in particular the double lava hop to enter the cave is stupidly precise. The lava hop to exit the cave and both the fadeout tricks are very precise on timing as well, and the Horde fight with Goddess Sword is very tough too.

- Enter hallway in sidestep mode
- Get a mouse skew (I can't help you with this part, sorry)
- Go back to standard mode
- Set up the angle with the visual cues shown
- Go back to sidestep
- Get in the corner, let go of control stick
- Pause
- Hold right on control stick, up on C stick
- D-pad left to switch to standard
- Press A to unpause and then X 1 frame later to pull GBH
- Wait a little bit
- Press X to leave GBH and A to open the door
- Press X to scare skip after the door closes
- Be on your merry way
Notes:
- For the angle setup, if you're too far right in the hallway the camera angle will be different and might mess up the visual cue
- After the angle setup I said to switch to Standard, I meant to say Sidestep

This is a Low Optimisation Tool-Assisted Demonstration made using tools such as savestates, frame advance and a memory viewer to show off a difficult run.

I beat all the dungeons and then defeat Ganondorf while collecting as few items as possible. This started as a race with EJ (we were in a call but his audio is super quiet for some reason), but he ended up quitting a few hours in.
Since we've not decided exactly what items count for Low%, the rules for this were quite arbitrary, but I just wanted to make the most interesting run, so this is what was used:
Dungeon items, i.e maps, compasses, small keys and big keys, do not count towards the item count. However, I still tried to minimise collecting them as much as possible, after minimising all other items, which include all pause screen items, quest screen items, heart containers, magic, and any upgrades of these.
Notable skipped items and some details on how they were skipped:
-Wind's Requiem. Requires using door cancel to enter Forbidden Woods.
-Hero's Sword. We beat FF1 with a stick hover, and use chest storage and a stick to get the Deku Leaf early.
-Tingle Tuner. This means we can't do Early Earth Temple, so have to do Hyrule 2 which means getting Hero's Shield, and we also need to get Earth God's Lyric. However, skipping Tingle Tuner also skips Tingle Chart, and also means we get to skip Mirror Shield later, so this ends up being the better choice.
-Hero's Bow. This is a by-product of skipping Hero's Sword, as we have no way to defeat the miniboss in TotG. We have to get a quiver upgrade instead to be able to use Light Arrows later, so this doesn't remove an item on its own, however it is required to skip the sword. We skip the bow requirement in TotG by clipping out of bounds to bring back the second statue, and also defeat Gohdan by throwing bombs at him.
-Skull Hammer. This is pretty straightforward, zombie hover to beat FF2, and door cancel into Gale to get Wind God's Aria.
-Mirror Shield. This is by far the worst item to skip, and the method used here takes over an hour. I do actor unloading in Ganon's Tower repeatedly to lower the free memory enough to unload the Ganondorf cutscene. This cutscene automatically gives you the Mirror Shield, so unloading it is required. I then simply savewarp and the cutscene is gone when I return.
Finally, I used Back in Time to reduce the number of unique small keys that are used. The route requires unlocking 5 small key doors, but by transferring keys with BiT, I use only 3 unique small keys twice each, rather than 5 different small keys

Sometimes you will snap to a different angle, and it seems that most of the time this will be 43541. With this angle, roll once, and use the statue's shadow as a visual cue for when to roll the second time (the third time the shadow swings to the left).

This run had 3 failed superswims, lost 2 minutes to a perfect Auction, and some of the dungeons weren't great. But I played really well for the most part and had some sections with multiple golds in a row!

For the second jump, just let go of target after grabbing the ledge, hold right on the control stick and time the A press.
If you have a bad position sidehopping onto the first rock, sometimes you can bonk instead of getting the jump, if that happens just walk back a bit on the rock and try again and it will usually work. Otherwise you could always just jump off and on the rock again.
