I pretty much need all 3 shrines "blue, green, yellow" to stand a chance. The "red and white" shrines I consider to be a death sentence and avoid them every time.
Having said that this is the only build which I have which had the ability to push this far. My tank builds can't push past 50 and my other LMB builds don't heal fast enough to mitigate the damage taken.
grimtools.com/calc/4ZDR6KQ2 Obviously there are better greens to be picked up. I don't like to hack my items though. If I can't legitimately find it in game then I don't use it.

I really wanted the pure elemental devastation but Outcast's Secret is arguably better as it allows you to cast devastation more often.

Drain Essence seems to be terrible damage source, I may get rid of it after all. The idea was to make a "Burn" focused build but with the current setup that's not really possible it struggles to maintain 50K DoT's. If I manage to find Korvaak's Deception I'll post an update.

My first level 100 character. I'll post an update of this build once I've tracked down more gear. Right now I'm going to move on to other characters and hope I don't get slaughtered.
I can't take on the new Ch'thonic Nemesis. I can take him on Elite but on Ultimate he pretty much one shots me every time. Build is too weak for such an encounter.
I modified my devotions completely from the original build. Bard's Harp is one of my new favourite devotions and I highly recommend it, specially on energy-hungry builds like this one.Grim Dawn - Retaliation DoTs stack with normal DoTsDuck King2017-08-25 | Nothing major. This build is designed around "Burn" Retaliation. It stacks with other Burn attacks such as BWC. It's impossible for this build to apply a 50K Burn DoT unless he's attacked. Despite chugging on a Hoarfrost Ointment I was frozen repeatedly by Moosy - 4:03. Just been advised that CC effects cap at 80%. Not sure how I feel about that. This was my first AAR build...
My first and probably only "physical" based Mortar Trap build. Certainly does not do as much damage as my Elemental Mortar Trap based builds but still fun to use.
The build itself is pretty tanky, 40% physical resist and 100% Armor Absorption. Just lacks in attack speed and damage output.
The 3 stooges took me around 4 minutes to defeat. The Acid pool is very annoying for melee toons, it causes you to repeatedly fumble whilst simultaneously debuffing you. On top of that the pillars around the arena kept making it hard to see what was happening.
At around 8:10 Valdaran decided to join the party whilst I was pincered between 2 abominations and 2 enemy heroes. It's predominantly a lightning focused build and can perma-stun "Rage Hulks" if UC re-triggers. I promised myself I wouldn't make another Mortar Trap build but I'm also working on a physical focused build using "Beronath Reforged".
Shied is "Flamewall Obsidian Bulwark of Psyche" Belt is "Incorruptible Chosen Girdle" Grimtools still needs a bit of updating it seems...
Unlike most builds. This is a "rotational skill build" which focuses on Shield damage for it's main damage source. Hence "Brutal Shield Slam" and "Blitz" were taken. Build ended with higher Fire damage than Burn but it was "Burn" that I was focused on. You can make it tankier by taking Menhir's Bulwark but you'll lose roughly 300 OA.

Sharzul was probably the biggest threat in the entire dungeon. I think "bleeding" damage instead of "vitality" with different gear and devotions would have led to better results.

There are many issues with this build. Too many "on enemy death" procs. I'm also using "Speaker for the Dead" as an offhand. Thinking of trading it for "Skull of Gul'Amash".
To meet the spirit requirements to use late game offhands I had to take Crane constellation. Demonslayer's Garb does not offer much in terms of energy regen which is odd as it's bonuses are geared towards a caster-ish build.

Elemental Storm is attached to "Clean Sweep" (100% chance to proc) Meteor Shower is attached to "Flame Breath" - Item Granted (100% chance to proc) Eldritch Fire is attached to "Canister Bomb" - (100% chance to proc)
Main idea is to open with "Canister Bomb" and run in with "Clean Sweep" followed by "Flame Breath", throw in thermite mine's and flashbangs for when the main skills are on CD. "Canister Bomb" is golden as it will occasionally re-trigger allowing you to re-cast it over and over again and re-triggering Eldritch Fire every time.

Single target enemies can reach 100K crit burn DoTs such as Jarren but generally you're looking at 30K-40K crit burns against general mobs. The three stooges were taking 30K-70K in an AoE radius. I'm going to overhaul this build. Having 3 Mortar Trap's active just doesn't seem to be doing me any favours and I'm sacrificing a lot to have Mortar Trap at 26/16. The latest hotfix has removed the nerf to spirit potions and on top of that lowered the energy cost of Grenado as well as giving Ulzuin's Chosen a passive which lowers %skill energy cost even further. I will not be making another vid for a while but did a few Sentinel runs and I was able to keep my mana full without any issues.
I realise that the OA of enemies was increased but "damn", I had so many close calls in Port Valbury. Much respect to the devs for their continuous updates and support.
Valdaraan tends to roam outside and inside the dungeon as well and his stuns can be devastating specially if you're surrounded by Flesh Hulks whilst standing on Aetherfire. I got a wrecked with a number of builds due to this, including this one. Keep an eye out for that teleporting S.O.B. specially if you're caster orientated.

Damage has improved slightly and so has the mana cast. But due to the nerf on mana potions. You'll need all the mana you can get. I have an Ectoplasm on each ring to ensure I have a healthy supply.

It's kind of a cheesy way of defeating the Mad Queen. Obviously not as strong as bleed/poison builds but still does quite well.
You have roughly 15 seconds to apply as much burn damage before her aura comes back up. Lure her to your thermite mines then hit her with Canister Bomb, Clean Sweep and Flame Breath. If you're lucky throw a 2nd or 3rd Canister Bomb. Then hit her a few times and back off.
"Rain of Fire" alone is enough to one shot you in melee range if you stay there for too long. I played it safe and on the 3rd cycle she was down.
