Breaking the Sub-1 5x5 Barrier: 58.99 Overall PB Officially! Brandon Lin 2023-10-15 | Still in shock this happened officially...So many good things happened in this solve: my brain decided to wake up and see all the Yau edges, L4E was insanely easy (M' U2 M U2 solved two edges and then flip) and 3x3 stage was extremely smooth for me. Plus the PLL skip at the end (after COLL) was the cherry on top :)We don't talk about the rest of the average though lol

14/17 Official Multi-BLD in 55:40 Brandon Lin 2023-10-10 | Wow, multi-BLD is tiring...worth it since this was third place at New Englands Champs!I've been trying to get into MBLD a bit more since it's such an amazing event to witness. My PR before this attempt was 15 cubes, but out on a whim I decided to try 25 cubes for my first attempt in the comp. ...which ended up turning out to be a bad idea. So I decided to try 17 cubes this time, which ended up working out decently well! Not the result I was looking for but still technically PR!Doing these multi attempts is helping me pinpoint what exactly I need to improve in my memorization, since to hit my goal of 25 cubes I really need to work on more efficient memo and a better review system (here I just sporadically memo whatever). NEW MGC 4x4: 34.53 4x4 single Brandon Lin 2020-06-11 | Watch till the end for an even faster solve!!Just received this yesterday. Initial thoughts: super crisp turning, is a little uncontrollable but can be solved by putting some Weight 4/5 lube or Silk in there. Turning is effortless on this cube so inner layers feel really nice.
