The nozzle is also regeneratively cooled by the oxidiser (although this makes little different when the chamber wall is polymer). To enable this to function when fabricated from polymer components, it must operate at very low power. The aim is to demonstrate the concept of vortex cooling using a clear walled combustion chamber.
