If we stop, breathe, or hesitate, we label ourselves as procrastinators. But what if that word is just a lie we use to guilt-trip ourselves into burning out?

In this video, I take a step back from the studio desk and head out on the motorcycle to unpack what’s really happening under the hood when we struggle to create. From the quiet of a morning coffee by the fire to the open roads, I’ve realized that what looks like "stalling" is often the crucial cognitive processing our brains actually need. The best way to solve a creative problem... might just be to stop looking at it.

If you’ve ever felt the weight of modern productivity culture or struggled with the fear of the blank canvas, this one is for you. Let the ideas rest. The work will still be there when you get back.

After the storm passed, there was plenty of work waiting. Trees down, tools to maintain, and projects around the house that needed attention. But that’s part of the life we live out here.
We spend our time working in the garage, fixing what’s broken, and getting ready for the next season.
We try to catch our own food at least once a month, cod or trout if we’re lucky. We buy our eggs from a local farmer, grow some of our own vegetables, and trade time and skills for local meat. It’s not always easy, but it’s rewarding in a way money can’t buy.
Maybe nothing lasts forever, but if you take care of what you’ve got your tools, your home, your community — it’ll take care of you.

In this episode, the seasons shift from spring back to winter overnight. I’m joined by my father and brother to tackle some of the "unfiltered" realities of cabin life in Norway: fixing a stubborn boat engine, prepping for the return of the snow, and pouring a concrete slab for the new tool shed.

tshansen 2025-04-09 | I traveled to the Agafay Desert in Morocco to test ride the new 2025 Yamaha Tenere 700 and Tenere 700 Rally. In this video, I break down the new ride-by-wire throttle, updated suspension, and compare the Standard vs. Rally editions on sand and tarmac.

A Motorcycle Camping Trip Up North | Lofoten - Norway 2024

tshansen 2025-01-16 | Join me on an unforgettable motorcycle adventure through the wild and rugged beauty of Norway, as I ride north toward the stunning Lofoten Islands.

This journey was meant to take me all the way to North Cape, but like all true adventures, things didn’t go as planned. Battling cold rain, thick fog, and endless winds, I faced challenges that tested my motivation and forced me to reflect on why I ride. Yet, in the midst of it all, I found moments of pure freedom—sharing stories with fellow travelers, camping under the midnight sun, and exploring some of Norway's most breathtaking landscapes.

This trip taught me that it's not always about reaching the destination but embracing the unexpected and learning along the way.

Epic roads, unpredictable weather, and raw adventure—this is motorcycling in Norway at its finest.

The trip to Mangwood In - Meeting The Mosko Team | Motorcycle Camping part.03

tshansen 2024-10-25 | This is the third and last part of my motorcycle camping trip in the beginning of this season. I have been struggling with some nightmares lately and thought that a good old Adventure trip could help me shake some of my demons.
Join me when I start on the west cost of Norway and make my way east on an adventure that will end up changing my life forever.

This trip started 3. May and ended 20. May
The temperatures ranged between 25 degrees in the daytime and down to 3 or 4 degrees in the night time. Some of the mountain roads from the west side of Norway over to the east side was closed due to heavy snowfall and icy roads. (1000meter above sea level)

Preparing for the cold Winter Up Here | tshansen

tshansen 2024-10-16 | Winter arrived earlier than expected this year in the Norwegian mountains, so it’s time to get the cabin ready.
In this video, I tackle some essential cabin maintenance before the big storms hit. We’re troubleshooting a leaking chainsaw, upgrading the lawn mower tires for better winter grip, and finally unboxing a new smokeless fire pit (Solo Stove) to replace my broken one.

My New DMD2 Nav System | Never going back to Garmin 2024

tshansen 2024-09-11 | In this video I will show you my new Navigational System on my Tenere 700 World Raid. The DMD-865x Nav Tablet, with the DriveModeDashboard software, the handlebar controller and how I mount everything to my bike. Some of you know that I have been a long time Garmin user, but that ends here. From today on out there is just no going back. This is such a well polished machine that works and are tailored for an Adventure riders need. I will be comparing how the DMD2 work on this unit compared to my friend @kihestad tablet and see if there is any noticeable different in an upcoming video.

I will also make a complete stand alone video about the new ADVHub route planer that is soon to be ready from the developers of DMD2 .

Norwegian Fjords to Swedish Forests | Motorcycle Camping part.02

tshansen 2024-08-13 | This is the second part of my motorcycle camping trip in the beginning of this season. I have been struggling with some nightmares lately and thought that a good old Adventure trip could help me shake some of my demons.
Join me when I start on the west cost of Norway and make my way east on an adventure that will end up changing my life forever.

This trip started 3. May and ended 20. May (part 2)
The temperatures ranged between 25 degrees in the daytime and down to 3 or 4 degrees in the night time. Some of the mountain roads from the west side of Norway over to the east side was closed due to heavy snowfall and icy roads. (1000meter above sea level)
