CycloTech GmbH 2024-12-19 | In 2024, we proudly retired our Technology Demonstrator after exploring its flight envelope in over 800 successful flights. Flight testing of our CycloRotor technology began in 2021 indoors, showcasing unparalleled precision and control, even in confined spaces. In 2023, we transitioned to outdoor testing under AustroControl/EASA authorization, demonstrating CycloRotors' 360° thrust vectoring. Our Achievements:• Smooth, stable flight in all directions (no tilting, banking, or yawing) • Easy transition from hover to forward flight• Advanced manoeuvres like sideward flight and nose-up/nose-down orientations• Precision and versatility, promising unmatched comfort for future passengers Each flight provided invaluable insights, paving the way for our next-generation demonstrator: the BlackBird.
