I want to do some POV Lego building videos in the future and this is my first attempt at shooting some nice footage.
This time I'm building the really cool Lego set from their Classic series which was released on first this month (01.03.2023)
I think it's a really cool set with lots of interesting bricks and i really want to do more videos on this so write your suggestions what you want to see in the comments.
please like and subscribe if you want to see more of this :)

Footage was taken on a DJI Mini SE.
Unfortunately i was only able to render it in 720p because i don't have a Lightworks Pro License atm :(
I hope you enjoy it anyway :)
I played some Space Engineers and built the first iteration of a six legged crab walker. It is controlled by an autopilot remote control and can follow waypoints. The walker is armed with a missile turret and can be used for mass attacks on enemy bases.
While not very fast or powerful on its own, it's effective when attacking in groups becaus enemy turrets will have a hard time knocking out a whole group.
Another way to effectivly use the crab walker is to set on patrol mode and use it as mobile sentry. In this role enemies can't reliably scout your defenses because the walkers will be in a different place when enemies are attacking.
I added a better camera follow although it still needs some tweaking and i remade the jump animation to make it look more Lego like :D
Additionaly I added some grabbable objects and made the corresponding animations.
Featurewise is the project almost done maybe I'll add some small features but the next part will be some level building and adding some minifigs :)
If you like what I do please consider a like and sub :)
I added a basic User Interface to display the players remaining life and made some tesla coil traps to provide a bit of a new challenge.
I also built a new room in the scene to test jump & run gameplay.
Please consider leaving a like & sub to show your support for the project :)
Next step will be adding a new character as enemy and coding some close combat AI.
I still need to add some UI and more gameplay elements :D
Tools used:
- Blender
- LDrawImport
- LDraw Library
- Unity Engine
- GIMP
For the next step I'll add some UI and do some level design so the project progresses a step further to somewhat playable :)
(give me a job in gamedev already ;D)
First I added a whole new character, which will be selectable as player character in the final product: The iconic Servoskull. While not very strong in combat, it has some unique abilities like interfacing with cogitators (computers) and a flashlight, to illuminate dark areas.
Second I added a cogitator for the Servoskull to use and made a simple scroll texture shader for it. The cogitator basically works like a switch except that it can only be activated by certain characters.
Third I added close combat, which afforded major changes on the player controller and it was a good opportunity to refactor the player controller which now works way smoother than before because it now relies more on animation events rather than a complicated state machine.
In the next step I'll probably add player death & respawn and a way to switch between the playable characters.
Tools used:
- Blender
- LDrawImport
- LDraw Library
- Unity Engine
- GIMP
I'm very happy how the project turned out so far and i'm looking forward to add some more mechanics like jump & run elements to the game but first the the combat system needs some polishing.

I had tons of fun making the video and I'd love to hear your opinion in the comments :D
Have fun watching the video and give it a thumbs up or even a subscribe if you want to see more :)
This time i wanted to make a longer video and test some new effects i made. The choreography is not 100% accurate but idc. It's good enough imo :D

The template can be used for pen & paper RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Das Schwarze Auge or similar games and is a great tool for every dungeon master. I made the template with usability in mind and you need only very limited knowledge of blender to make a map. Rendering composition is already setup with a simple bloom effect so you'll get a nice comfy glow from light sources. Have fun building and make sure to share your pen & paper adventures in the comments :)
What you need to get started:
-Blender (available for free at blender.org)
-a basic understanding of Blenders basic tools like moving, rotating (hold ctrl to snap objects to grid) and copy/paste
-Watch the video to understand how to tile floors & walls
-Know how to render an image (top bar-Render-Render Image)
-Understanding how to replace a material gives you the opportunity to customize the dungeon map even further
Features:
-two variants of floor tiles (tiling)
-two variants of walls (tiling)
-a gate
- some props like torches, tables and crates
-some additional textures
Licensing:
The template is free for non-profit, when used in non-commercial media please give credit and link my github repo. Contact me for commercial use.

The whole video was rendered in realtime in the Unity Engine
Models and animations were made with Blender and LDD

I'm a huge fan of the death korps of krieg from the warhammer 40k universe and i like the original animated video in particular:
youtube.com/watch?v=lYi9s0xbsoI
I made the 3D models and animations in Blender and rendered the scene in Unity
If you wanna use the models for your own projects, just let me know and I'll upload them somewhere. Just keep in mind that these models are fanmade and unlicensed, so it's not allowed to use them in commercial projects.
I hope you enjoy the video anyway :)

The AI now drops its equipped weapon and the player can pick it up.
I also improved the players data structure so the inventory can be saved.
Next things i wanna add/improve:
- improve inventroy window scaling, margin and padding
- cosmetic improvement of the inventory
- drop/delete items from the inventory
- cosmetic improvement of dropped items
- gamepad control for the inventory
- improve inventory tooltips
- add more sword variants
- add more sword names
There's something oddly satisfying about a huge pile of Lego minis :D
I had tons of fun making this model although it's not perfect and i hope you like the outcome of this small project :)

I also added some JSON based data structures to save and load the players stats on scene change or startup.
Next thing to do is implementing data structures for the random generated weapons so the players equipment can be saved & loaded.
I added a much brighter neutral light for debug reasons, the final game will be much darker.
I created a system that automatically places vegetation on the terrain and only on the terrain, basically alot of rays are casted from above in a grid pattern and place plants, with randomized rotation and scale, whenever they hit a collider tagged with "terrain".
I made some volumetric clouds using Roman Papushs great tutorial:
youtu.be/Y7r5n5TsX_E
He has some awesome tutorials on making shaders in Unity, so make sure to take a look in case you are interested.
I reintroduced the butterfly from previous videos as a sidekick which illuminates the area around the player.
Slowly i get the feeling that this fun project could lead to a serious functioning game in while.
I know not many people are watching my Unity videos but if you are I'd love to hear your opinion so please leave a comment with criticism and suggestions.
I made this short chiptune melody while playing with Bosca Ceoil and thought somemone might use it as background music when developing an arcarde game or something.
The melody should loop seamless and is completely free to use but please give credit.
You can download it here:

I also added some flowers and nectar which serves as the butterflys "fuel" and can be replenished at the flowers blossoms.

I made it for the lower class quarter of Cyberpunk City and it's gonna be a part of a larger shantytown pack which I'll upload to bricksafe once it's done :)

In this video you'll see a timelapse of me constructing a super secret research laboratory aka Black Site.
The video also serves as inspriration for what to build with my Black Site modular pack and should give you an idea how to fit the modules together.

To my subscribers: Sorry for not uploading anything in a while, but i was busy working on some other projects of mine and i had to remove my streaming setup to make some room on my desk but I'll keep working on the channel so please be patient if there's no new stuff for a while ;)
This time i made a video with heavy focus on storytelling and make a more serious video.
This video is the pilot episode of an E.T./X-Files/SCP Foundation/random alien movie inspired series i might make, depending on the feedback i get for this.
In this episode you'll get to know the different characters like Jimmy the alien, his family, Badger and his best friend Ernest and of course Agent Chase and his superior "The Old Man".
See how our friends get into serious trouble when Jimmy is trusted with abducting humans but things will develop in an unexpected direction.
But i don't want to spoiler anmore, have fun watching the video :)
Also make sure to check out the channels of my Lego Worlds friends (Look for "popular channels" on my channel page)
Many thanks to all the people who provided so many copyright free tracks and sound effects to YouTube, this video would be far more boring without you :)
