// so after finishing muck in my video "Adding a Dragon Boss to my Game Because Steam is Mad at me", i learned a lot about making multiplayer games, networking, and more. so when Squid Game become popular on Netflix, I knew I had to turn Squid Game into an actual multiplayer game. I created this game in my video: "I Made Squid Game, But it's a Multiplayer Game", and called it Crab Game. But Crab Game got millions of downloads (10m at the time of writing this), and now netflix might be out to get me, so i have to update crab game and make it different, so netflix doesnt destroy me for copying squid game. haha cool

This game was pretty fun to make, and i think it turned out really cool. also its free so go download now gamer.

Im gonna use the Unity game enigine to make it. I've made a few multiplayer games in the past, but nothing on this scale. it's heavily inspired by a bunch of survival multiplayer / roguelike games that i enjoy, like Valheim, Minecraft, Rush, Risk of rain & more. It's pretty scuffed, might get some updates out in the future. thanks for watching :)

The reason this video was delayed a week is simply because I just didn't have much to show, since making maps for karlson is soooo slow

//longer description So after all the Half Life Alyx VR hype, i decieded to make my own VR headset, cuz i dont have a real one. It ended up being not the best idea ever, and theres even this thing called google cardboard vr, so google straight copied me, but its fine, as long as google accepts my boxing match invitation. Anyway in the next episode we'll make a proper vr headset with arms, so i dont have to use my face to scream with, cuz thats kinda hard. Making a vr headset and vr games was fun tho, and ill probably get my hands on a real vr headset soon, maybe the valve index or like the oculus rift s or maybe just the oculus quest. all the games are made with unity btw, but i didnt use the vr support cuz im dumb lol. anyway thanks for watching and why are you reading this? you know this is just metadata right get outta here kiddo before i slamdunk
Anyway would you wanna see me make a proper vr game with a proper vr headset? could be fun, and i think its pretty easy to make vr games with unity, so ill probbaly do it gamers
Also if you wanna try this for yourself, there are many video on youtube actually, like "how to make virtual reality cardboard headset" or something like that, and usually they make vr headsets from stuff you can find in your home, so its something to try out. tho obviously if you have some milk cartons lying around, i recommend you try building the oculus milk, as its an absolute unstoppable machine

It went fairly well, and we're not at part 4 of this series, where we're actually putting together a proper singleplayer. i was going to make an evil robot, but ended up making a friendly robot instead, so i called him billy. and now karlson and billy are best friends. or at least billy seems to like karlson, even tho it might not be mutual. //Longer description So I thought about ways I could turn Youtube into a giant battle royale game, and landed on this solution. Pulling all the commens from accross my channel, and then finding my top 10.000 fans / top 10k commenters on my channel. Then I build a game where a bunch of cubes fight eacother, and finally load the comments into the players. Then all the players will get stats in the battle royale game, depending on how many comments they have on my channel. The game runs fine with 10,000 players, and could probably even do more. Hope you enjoy this weird idea, I have some ideas for similar stuff as well, so make sure you slap subscribe. Also thanks for the crazy response on my video "He said I Couldn't Make a 3D Game... // Owo stickman is back So essentially I'll be simplifying Off The Sticks, as it was taking too long to develop. For the first part of the game, I will focus on making a bunch of minigames you play with your friends, or bots if you dont have any friends like me haha anyway all the previous progress is definitely not lost. I'm probably going to add parts of it as their own minigames later on. And even if I don't, I will still take with me all the experience from previously developing, as seen in the devlogs. Hopefully this way, development should be much quicker, and I might actually be able to release it sometime in 2020, but I'm not too sure on the date yet, as I'm still working on a lot of planning, and i also have a ton of other game / video ideas. Anyway, thanks for sticking around, this is gonne be sick

It was a lot of fun, and I've always enjoyed watching other people's "Making a game in 48 hours" video, so I wanted to try it out myself. The game I made in 2 days is called Fair n Square, and is an action shooter, with squares! So today, we're gonna use that game I made in 1 hour, and turn it into a mobile game!

// So a couple of weeks / months ago I made a video "Teaching A.I. to Play my Game!", which was my first A.I. project ever, and I had a lot of fun with it. So today, inspired by Code Bullet's video "A.I. Learns To Walk", we are testing if an A.I. Stickman can also learn to walk! I'm a huge fan of physics and stickmen, so this was a very fun project to work on, and I'm very happy with the result!

Last week, #TeamTrees was announced, one of the biggest Youtube events ever, hosted by MrBeast, SmarterEveryday, Mark Rober & tons of other big youtubers. To show my support, I decided to make a game about planting trees! All the ad revenue the game makes will be donated towards TeamTrees.org, so you can help plant trees by playing our tree game! Together we can hopefully raise some money as a community, and plant some real trees! This is a really fun project, I had a lot of fun with it, so I hope you all find it as cool as I did! Thanks for checking it out :)

It was a lot of fun, and I've always enjoyed watching other people's "Making a game in 48 hours" video, so I wanted to try it out myself. The game I made in 2 days is called Fair n Square, and is an action shooter, with squares! I also did Ludum Dare 45 3 weeks ago, but this time, I joined Mix and Game Jam, and decided to make something a bit different than what I usually do! Hopefully you like it :)

Check him out, he has some amazing music!
So since I'm asked every day how my channel grew so fast, I made a video about it lol. Talking a bit about the Youtube Algorithm, what i've done to try to exploit it, and also some other stuff, like my play button unboxing. In the video I talk about a couple of important things, like CTR of "Click through rate". This is important, because without a high click through rate, people aren't gonna click on your videos, meaning you won't get any views. The watch time is also curcial, and I talk a bit about how I try to keep the watch time as high as possible. Something I didn't mention in the video, is that you have to find a recipe that works for you. For example "progress" videos and "Making X in Y time" works very well for me, but when people have tried to do the exact same thing, with the exact same thumbnail (just search for one of my popular videos, and you'll see a lot of copies), it hasn't worked out well for them. This is important to note, it shows that you have to find your own way, as different channels work in different ways. It's hard to explain, but after a while you will get the feel for what the algorithm wants from you lol.
One final note: Have fun. Don't make videos you don't wanna make, that's never gonna end well. If you make videos about stuff you enjoy, it's gonna be reflected in your content, and the viewers will be way more engaged. And the same goes for when you make content you don't enjoy: it's very noticable, and it's not gonna feel genuine.

So this week, I just started University again, which mean I don't have time to really do much other than making a low effort video :DD But hey you guys wanted it, so here ya go! It was really fun, and it's crazy how many downloads the game got! 90k downlaods in 1 week is ridiculous, so yeah thanks a lot, i really appreciate it! This is my very first game jam, Ludum Dare 44, which is where you create a game, and everything else in 48 hours! That includes code, music, art, sound effect, no sleep, loads of coffee, oof. It was a lot of fun, and I've always enjoyed watching other people's "Making a game in 48 hours" video, so I wanted to try it out myself. I hope you enjoyed it. The game I made in 2 days is called Fair n Square, and is an action shooter, with squares! The way I use the theme of Ludum Dare 44, being ""Your life is currency", is by selling weapons and upgrades at the start of the game. You have to buy them using your health.
