My battles were with Adderall and nicotine, and they felt like battles of a lifetime. I’ve gone back and forth about releasing something this personal, but I’ve decided I don’t really have a choice.From conversations I’ve had, I’ve learned that most of us have something that’s holding us back. But I’ve realized it’s much easier to talk about it when someone else is willing to get vulnerable first. My hope with this song is that it helps people have that conversation, so we can support each other on our journeys. We’re all human and we can all evolve into better versions of ourselves.
