Rock Band 3 - Expert Pro Keys - Poni Hoax - Antibodies Expert GS 99% wuLFe79 2010-10-26 | So I've been playing Rock Band 3 for the past 1.5 weeks (hint - it is AWESOME), and I've been loving me some Pro Keys. This particular song is probably rated as the second or third most difficult track in the game, but luckily it's what I'm good at (very few chords, and fancy fingerwork) so after some hard work, there we go - gold stars, beeyotches :) Also, please excuse the quality of the video - I know it looks like complete mongrel ass, but it's the best I can do right now - I was planning to buy a nice HD capture card, but some unforeseen home expenses killed that plan for a few months :( I will redo this (hopefully with an FC) in a few weeks, but for now, I just wanted to get this out there
Rock Band Network - Meshuggah - Bleed Expert Drums 99% (Gold Star) wuLFe79 2010-06-27 | Fun song by a really great band. This only took 2 attempts to gold star (some of the fills are pretty nasty, but other than that, nothing too hard if you have a decent heel-toe technique). The guitar on this track is a monster though - I have yet to even 5-star it :(
Metalcharter presents - bibleblack - I Am Legion only on Rock Band Network wuLFe79 2010-04-12 | Hey folks Metalcharter here, proudly bringing you this great track off bibleblacks debut album "The Black Swan Epilogue" released in 2009 through Vic Records. What we have here is a 7 minute slice of blackened thrash metal goodness, with guitar work by none other than King Diamond/Mercyful Fates own Mike Wead. The pedigree of this outfit certainly shows as they deliver a superb track which is sure to entertain plastic instrument wielding metalheads the world over. The track should be available in the next couple of days for a bargain 80 MSP. So, throw up them horns /M\, and join the Legion!
metalcharter Presents: Bornholm - Where the Light was Born - now available on Rock Band Network wuLFe79 2010-04-03 | Hey guys wulfe/metalcharter here bringing you another great song, and THE FIRST STRAIGHT UP BLACK METAL SONG IN ANY RHYTHM GAME EVER!! YAY!!!! These guys are from Hungary, and they play a great brand of pummelling melodic black metal which utilizes all the hallmarks of the genre (tremolo picked guitars, crazy bass lines, and frantic blastbeats), but also add some unique touches to the genre (in this particular track we have some clean vocal phrases, as well as the awesome addition of the trombone in the backing section). With this one I was very happy to be able to get away with charting all the double bass - the quickest bass parts are right at the beginning, and since I have occasionally managed to combo that whole section using one pedal, I'm confident that it is doable, and should be a fun challenge for the elite level drummers out there. This track is off their recent (late 2009) album "March for Glory and Revenge" released on Vic Records, and it's sure to challenge the stamina of even the best plastic instrument bashers out there. It is currently available only on the Xbox 360 and only through the Rock Band Network at a bargain 80MSP. Anyhow - enjoy, and all comments are welcomed

I'm going to leave it up for now so you can all see the chart, but I'll try and fix it this evening and upload a better version/ Hey folks - it's finally here - for the bargain price of 80msp (approximately $1), the ten minute behemoth that is "Descend into the Eternal Pits of Possession" by "The Project Hate MCMXCIX" is now available for download on your Xbox 360 console via the new Rock Band Network feature. Unlike the teaser clip I showed a few months back, this is the entire "final" chart of this great melodic death metal song by one of my personal favorite bands. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. The album this track is taken from ("The Lustrate Process") is available on the great "Vic Records" record label (along with many other great bands, some of which I hope to bring to Rock Band really soon). Apparently the drum solo at the beginning was not charted as a solo, which makes me a panda of sadness, but other than that, another really fun chart. This whole album is so much win - can't wait to play it again after work today!
Megadeth - Tornado of Souls - Expert Guitar Sightread GS wuLFe79 2010-02-09 | For some reason, this was always my absolute favorite song on the album. I used to endeavour to play it on real guitar back in the day - it just has such a catchy riff, methinks, that it stands out as perhaps the greatest track on an already phenomenal album.

Megadeth - Hangar 18 - Expert Guitar Sightread 95% 5* wuLFe79 2010-02-09 | No gold stars on this one - I struggled with some of the final solos - I'd still probably say this might be easier than the Guitar Hero 2 version of the song though. I will upload a gold star run of this song later on - for now I just want to get all the sightreads up so you folks can see the charts and decide if you want to get the DLC or not (personally, I'd say go for it - it's awesome)
Megadeth - Holy Wars - X Guitar Sightread - 99% GS wuLFe79 2010-02-09 | Little background: When I was nowt but a spotty, geeky, devastatingly handsome teenaged boy (as opposed to the spotty, geeky, devastatingly average geriatric I am today), this album was my obsession. I have probably listened to this album more than all the other Thrash metal albums combined, so even today it holds a special place in my heart. When it was announced that it was coming to Rock Band 2, I ran around, flailing my arms around, all excited like a teenaged girl seeing some stupid Twilight character with their shirt off. It is finally here, and I've decided rather than grind for the FCs, I'm going to show you folks how my initial sightreads look - this one I was pretty happy with, since I had not warmed up at all before starting it - it's not as tough as I thought it would be (easily FCable, unlike some other songs on the album). If you like challenging, fun, guitar parts, this DLC is a MUST - it's also a great album to boot.
Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God Expert Guitar 99% wuLFe79 2010-01-26 | This. Is. The. Best. Song. In. Any. GH. Game. EVER. I've loved Amon Amarth for years, and this was definitely the best track to pick off their new album. It might not be the greatest chart (although it's still pretty fun), bur for my taste, no song has come close to being this awesome just in terms of how much ass it kicks. If you like this song, I highly recommend checking out some of their other albums, which are all great - I would start with "Vs the World", but you really can't go wrong with any of them. Enjoy
Dethklok - Laser Cannon Death Sentence - Guitar Hero 5 DLC Expert Guitar 100% wuLFe79 2010-01-26 | My second favorite song in the newly released metal pack for the Guitar Hero series. Very worth a download if you like metal - this song is initially a bit of a pain on the strumming arm, but it's really not too tough. It is, however, AWESOME, as are all the Dethklok songs.

Rock Band 2- Rush - YYZ Expert Drums 99% GS wuLFe79 2009-10-15 | I had a very good start here, but screwed up in the last chorus pretty badly - barely gold starred it, but considering that ia few months ago I could barely pass it, I'm pretty happy with the gold star. Rush is always so much fun on drums :)
Rock Band 2 - Devil Driver - Clouds Over California Expert Drums -1 99% GS wuLFe79 2009-10-15 | EDIT : Stupid copyright - audio swapped for now - might try and get the original song back, but it's a real schlep to do :( Are you friggin' kidding me - get right to the end and manage to cross my sticks on the last tricky part in the song. Still by far the best I've ever done on a tough drum song, so I'm really pretty happy about this. Done using the ION kit with the standard ION pedal (I used to hate it, but now that I've spent some time with it, it's my favorite pedal EVER :))
Rock Band 2 - Satch Boogie (Expert Guitar) 94% GS wuLFe79 2009-10-14 | My first video in quite a while, so my apologies for not having updated more frequently. So - this is apparently the new OMGWTF song in Rock Band 2 - it is definitely a lot trickier than the Guitar Hero World Tour version, mainly owing to the fact that Rock Bands engine is a lot less forgiving, and the fact that if you break combo during the fast solo (2A, 2B) you need to strum again to pick it up. I broke combo once, but it took me ages to pick it up again on this run - I'm still pretty inconsistent with the solo (except for the descending trills, which I consistently can't hit for shit), but I reckon with a little more practice I could quite easily hit about 96-97% on the solo. This was done using a GH3 Les Paul guitar, and my rather unorthodox, yet effective tapping method for the song: I use my left hand only to play green - I then use my right hand thusly: 2nd finger always hits red 3rd finger always hits yellow 4th finger always hits blue pinky always hits orange If you're struggling with the fast solo bit give this a try - might take a little time in practice mode, but once you figure it out, it's actually pretty easy. Rock Band 2 - Tenacious D - Rock Your Socks - Expert Guitar 100% FC wuLFe79 2009-09-15 | Got this one on my sightread - fun chart with all the fiddly bits Harmonix puts in, and really funny song. I'm just amazed that they didn't censor the Cleveland Steamer bit, while Neversoft went and friggin' censored "Kill" from "2 Minutes To Midnight". I guess it's the difference between giving the music fans what they want vs been able to sell another 100 000 copies by making the game sanitized for our protection.
Rock Band 2 - Tenacious D - Tribute Expert Guitar 99% wuLFe79 2009-09-15 | Didn't have time to FC this before having to run off to work this morning (and lol at me forgetting about the ending) but just had to get this song up, because, it's fuckin' TRIBUTE people. We are but men, ROCK!!
Rock band 2 - Freezepop - Get Ready 2 Rokk Expert Guitar 100% FC wuLFe79 2009-09-09 | This song was so ridiculously hard in Guitar Hero 1 :). They've beefed up the solo a bit, but decent hammer ons make it quite doable - fun song - I'll post vids of the other 2 Freezepop songs tomorrow probably.
Rock Band 2 - Freezepop - Science Genius Girl Expert Drums GS 99% wuLFe79 2009-09-09 | This song is perhaps the most fun drum song EVER... I tend to struggle with the rolls more than the crazy stick part, but with a little work I could possibly get the FC - I highly recommend the Freezepop pack for all drummers - all three songs are loads of fun.
Rock Band:The Beatles - Hello Goodbye Expert Vocals 100% FC wuLFe79 2009-09-06 | Something a little different for me - I very seldom post vocal videos because: a) I very seldom do vocals b) I hate the way my voice sounds when recorded (and in general actually :)) c) Normally the songs that I like are all talky anyway *growl, grunt, shriek, etc* However, I do like this song, and for some reason it was a real PAIN to FC - we're talking many restarts, and even having to take the last bit into practice mode, so by the time I was done with it, I thought I'd done a pretty good job at it as a whole, and it's definitely a fun vocal song. TEH BEETLES!!! - Sergeant Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band Expert Guitar 100% FC wuLFe79 2009-09-05 | OK - firstly, as we all feared, this game is VERY easy - however, if you're a Beatles fan, I can say that everything is done REALLY well, and the Dreamscapes are all pretty cool. Just don't expect a huge challenge, but if you're going into it for the nostalgia of these songs you'll have a blast. I should have videos of everything made by the end of the day, but I'm only going to be posting the songs that I like (Sergeant Peppers, for instance), so if there's anything you desperately want posted, just make a comment, and I'll convert and upload the vid). Guitar Hero 5 - Muse - Plug In Baby Expert Guitar 100% FC wuLFe79 2009-09-03 | Easy song, but so pretty - definitely one of my favorite Muse tracks off my favorite Muse album - I think, if nothing else, this one is going to be a blast to sing. I miss Matt Bellamys falsetto - he should bring it back out of retirement :(

I managed to FC it on my sightread, but I'd definitely play it again just because it really is one of the very best charts I've played in GH5 so far.

In my opinion this kind of thing is indicative of where the franchise is going wrong - I really can't see too many fans of the game going "OH BOY - I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY A STEVIE WONDER SONG IN GUITAR HERO, BECAUSE THE GUITAR WORK IS SOOOOO FANTASTIC" Oh well - in truth, this actually took me quite a few attempts to FC, because I kept missing in the trumpet section *lol* Enjoy (if you can!! )

Seriously though - since when the fuq has "kill" been a word that they need to censor. What's next - are they going to sensor PENIS - as in, THE ESRB CAN SUCK MY PENIS!!!!! Great song, which loses a great deal of validity in my eyes when they butcher the goddamned thing like this - now I know what communist Russia must have been like *blurgh* *Sorry about the screw up before - bet those were the best 4 seconds you ever spent though :P*

Guitar Hero 5 - Thrice - Deadbolt Expert Guitar 100% FC wuLFe79 2009-09-01 | One of the higher tiered songs in GH5 - not too tricky once you figure out the HOPO pattern - the last bit is kind of fun to tap - not much more to say - decent song I guess
Guitar Hero 5 - Jeff Beck - Scatterbrain (Live) X Guitar 99% (-3) wuLFe79 2009-09-01 | Well - nearly got the FC - there's only two parts in this song that I find even remotely challenging - firstly, the funky chord runs (especially the last two - descending seems to be a lot harder for some reason), and then the part that I missed on in this vid - other than that, this song is cake, as are most songs in the game. So far, I think that 21st Century Schizoid man is probably the hardest FC (or maybe the Frampton song, but just because it's frigging 8 hours long). Incidentally, this is probably the most fun song in the game!!! Also, massive props to the first person who can tell me how I came up with my band name!!!! :)
GH5 - Children of Bodom - Done With Everything Die For Nothing X Guitar 99% (-5) wuLFe79 2009-09-01 | Once again, a near FC - I really find the first solo in this song tremendously hard though - I've hit it once or twice, but it's definitely the exception rather than the rule. Other than that, the only other tricky spot is the fast strumming a little later, which I generally miss if I git the solo :P Pretty good song, but I would personally prefer older Bodom (preferably Follow the Reaper or earlier) - I think they've lost something over the past 3 albums, but they're still a fun band. Stevie Ray Vaughan - Pride and Joy - Rock Band 2 Expert Guitar 100% wuLFe79 2009-08-20 | Guitar FC #2 - better than the Guitar Hero 3 version (probably just because they're not using a cover, which many thought was a particularly bad cover, but I didn't mind too much). Nothing too tricky here, except for some of the random strums - I just ended up strumming pretty much everything, and got the FC after about 2 or 3 attempts.
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Love Struck Baby - Rock Band 2 Expert Guitar 100% wuLFe79 2009-08-20 | No interesting DLC for a while, so I decided to go back to this album, and go for the full album FC on Guitar - the only song I'm dubious about my ability to get is Testify, but we'll see how it goes :) Anyhow - fun album (mainly for guitarists - other instruments are just OK, and drums are deadly dull), and just something to upload before all the new games release in the next few weeks
Rock Band 2 - Iron Maiden -The Clairvoyant Expert Drums 99% GS wuLFe79 2009-07-21 | My goal is to get gold stars on all the Maidens (realistically, I'll never get Run to the Hills - I don't think I can even 5* it yet), and this one is the first of the batch. One of my fave songs from the pack, and a really fun drum chart to boot. I guess I could've played it a few more times for the FC, but I figured that this was close enough, and I'm really not a good enough drummer to get these tough FCs anyhow Enjoy!
Rock Band 2 - Judas Priest - Prophecy (Live) Expert Guitar 100% FC wuLFe79 2009-07-14 | This song was a PAIN in the A$$ to FC - not because it was all that difficult, but because the only tough bit is the solo, and the solo takes about 15 years or so to get to while you have to slog your way through that really dull dull dull verse and chorus to get there. Also, before I get flamed, I don't think this song is dull - I actually love this song, and the whole of Nostradamus, which I think is one of Priests very best albums (after Painkiller, naturally :)) , but this song is no fun to play on guitar in Rock Band :(
Rock Band 2 - Judas Priest - Eat Me Alive (Live) - Expert Guitar 100% FC wuLFe79 2009-07-14 | Fun song, but by no means an "impossible" on guitar - such a subtle song, you have to love it :)
Rock Band 2 - Judas Priest - Dissident Aggressor - Expert Guitar 100% wuLFe79 2009-07-14 | For a 3 difficulty, this is arguably the toughest song to FC in the new Judas Priest DLC pack, since the fast part in the solo is pretty hairy. Got it after a few runs though - I have to say I definitely prefer recorded to live in Rock Band - still - any Judas Priest is fine by me!
Rock Band 2 - Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face Expert Guitar 99% GS wuLFe79 2009-07-07 | Not quite an FC because I always choke on the strumming at the end, but pretty close - this song is a beeyotch to gold star, but really quite fun to play. The tempo changes all over the place, so you pretty much need to be on your toes, but other than that, there's nothing too frightening in there.

Rock Band 2 - Black Tide - Shockwave One Man Band FC!!! wuLFe79 2009-07-06 | Firstly, let me apologize in advance for the vocals - I have a pretty awful voice to begin with, but added on top of that a nasty dose of flu, with the accompanying stuffy nose and sore throat, and yegawds, it don't sound good - anyhow - I included the vocal track as the main audio track since I wanted to punish you all :P Secondly, this song is REALLY hard to FC on guitar - in fact, I checked scorehero earlier today, and only a handful of people have got the FC on guitar or drums - drums didn't take me too long, but it was a bit of a lucky run, since I really should have missed in the middle (before the first guitar solo). Thirdly, this is my first attempt at editing a video using Vegas 8.0 - it's a powerful tool, but I'm sure that I still have a lot to learn, so you'll have to forgive the poor quality - I'm sure I'll get the hang of it as I make more videos. EDIT : Just noticed that the guitar score indicator didn't make it into the video :( - I'm not going to reupload because it takes forever for video conversion, so for the record, my score on guitar was 235228 Enjoy
