Great Expectations Boat Ride at Dickens World Kent (Defunct) Dark Rides and Walkthroughs 2019-03-21 | Heres a real throwback to 2008 at Dickens World. The great expectations boar ride was the main attraction at dickens world. I visited the year after it opened, the park was an indoor park very well themed to Dickensian life. Apart from the boat ride there was a haunted house walkthrough, a 4d theatre and a quite good animatronic theatre attraction. The whole place had many roaming across.After restructuring of the company all the hardware from the park was sold. so all the animatronics, projectors, boats etc were sold and the park reopened as an actor lead tour. this involved a walk through some of the old boat ride trough. The park finally closed in 2016

Knights Walkthrough Gullivers Land milton keynes Dark Rides and Walkthroughs 2019-11-04 | When I first started Darkrides and Walkthroughs it was from a love not only ghost trains but walkthrough attractions. On a recent ECC trip to Gullivers Land in Milton Keynes, a theme park that usually requires a child to attend, i found this walkthrough which is on top of the castle that houses some fast food restaurantsrestaurants. This kind of quirky almost forgotten attraction i really why i started the page. The park has made an amazing attempt to make something that kids, and big kids, would love. Abu Dhabi - A Journey Through Time Dark Rides and Walkthroughs 2017-03-11 | Abu Dhabii - A Journey Through Time opened in 2007 at Khalifa Park in Abu Dhbai.Although the Ride was installed in 2003 the park didn't open until 2007.It is still a hidden gem and for the price of around 1 $US you get a 15 minute suspended dark ride though the history of Abu Dhabi. When it was first installed by sally corp the animatronic boy known as Hamed was the most advanced in the world. Now a days you need to ask the attendant to turn the animatronic on in the preshow room. But it is still an interesting hal;f hour.the ride usually opens at 3 PM. Check its not ladies day before visiting. Use the Khalifa Park entrance closest to the Park Rotana Hotel.
