Sad Satan - Deep Web Horror Game - Part 1
updated 11 years ago
A Japanese horror game where you wander around a building looking for 5 items while being stalked by a giant rabbit. (Basically Slender Man in a rabbit suit...) If he gets too close, you die. If you look at him he can't move for some reason. He only moves when you have your back turned. I didn't actually finish this game, the slender man gameplay isn't really my thing and it got a bit tedious so I stopped recording. If you enjoy Slender style games you'll probably enjoy this one. This one isn't as good as one room but for a short game it builds up a decent atmosphere without relying on jump scares. The story seems to be based around a young man becoming stranded at a train station in the middle of the night.I have no idea what the significance of the ending is because I don't speak Japanese.
"A group of teenagers in a boarding school meddle with the supernatural and are gifted with the Twilight Syndrome, the ability to hear and see the dead. From this point your group is sent off to solve a variety of ghostly matters in a series of chapters. As an added bonus there is an exploration mode, which I think is the best part of the game. It allows Yuuri, the main character, to check out the dark corners of her school at night and get important clues for the main adventures. Armed with a camera, the best plan is to wander around until you find spirits willing to speak, then snap some pictures of the area. After you are done exploring you can develop your film and get some kick ass ghost pictures." - Chris's Survival Horror Quest.
The highlight of the game is the exploration mode and this is where the game becomes similar to Fatal Frame.
This is an interesting Korean serial killer film that focuses on a detective trying to take down a criminal who can't be arrested because the statute of limitations has expired on the murders he committed. An interesting story but the film is let down by some weak CGI.
The game can be cleared in under an hour but there is a hard mode unlocked and there's another ending.

I won't be updating for about two weeks but sent me a message or leave a comment if you find anything new.
This is a Dos Box Horror game that i came across recently. Literally no information on this game can be found online . I really have no idea what's going on. The game repeatedly crashes and i find it hard to get it working for more than a few minutes. The game immediately crashed at the end of this video.
I'll hopefully explore the map more soon and upload more videos.

And what's with the Wolfenstein 3D Floppy discs on the wall?

Directed By Juno Mak. This film isn't really scary but has a creepy Atmosphere and beautiful cinematography.

A description from the games website :
"Another short visual novel about Haru. This time you team up with him to work on a school project. However, in this night something strange happens. Suddenly you're locked inside your own room and a dark power menaces your life! Can you find a way out of your room? Can you even survive this night? Pay attention to your environment and you might have a chance to escape.
Sleepless Night is a horror/psycho sound novel. For full game experience you should play at night alone in your room and turn the volume up. There are no 18+ scenes in the game, I would recommend the game for 13+, but it is very scary and there are a lot of shockers in it, so be warned!"
The game has 10 different endings.

Adapted from the horror novel written by Hajime Ninomae and illustrated by yoshitoshi ABe. Yamada Nagito, a university student living away from home, needing a cheap place to live he finds out about a mysterious "House that grants wishes" on the market for a ridiculously low rent; he snaps up the house and starts living there. A few nights in he starts hearing strange creaking noises. Each and every night he's assaulted by these torturous noises. The last straw is when he finds the number 7 carved into the wall, as if counting down to something. Yamada having an interest in the occult seeks help from a website he frequently visits: "Ikaigabuchi", which specialises in occult topics.
The game was released as freeware, possibly as a promotional tool for the books.
Basically, it seems the game is set in a hospital in what seems to be a Mad Max or Fallout-esque future. You wander around gathering numbered clues in the creepy rooms of the hospital. This game is a bit more original than the usual RPG horror games and at some points gives you access to a gun. The surreal room changes are great too and the music (when used) is very effective.
I tried to speed up and edit the video near the end but i ended up messing up the visual and sound quality somehow. Only for about 2 minutes near the end though.
The creator of this game, NKKK has made a few short games like this and i'll hopefully upload some more in the future.
