The Killer Robot Design Terminator Got Right Sci-Fry 2026-09-18 | Gooooooood newwssssssss everyone... We're talking about the Terminator today.Ask anyone to describe the Terminator and you get the same answer every time. Leather jacket, sunglasses, Arnold, shotgun. Which is funny, because that's the disguise. I went into this one thinking it'd mostly be about the chrome skeleton, because that's the image everyone remembers. Turns out the skeleton only works because of everything that happens before it. The film hides a robot behind an actor's face for half an hour, then peels it off you one injury at a time, and by the end you've built the machine in your own head before it ever stands up out of that fire.
