Streets of Rage Remake V5.2 - Story Mode - Elle - Complete Playthrough - PC Gameplay
updated
This has been set-up to play in big picture mode from the main gaming menu and wasn't easy to manage. You CAN use Lutris for Desktop Mode (HAVE to first time running as you need the Music Tool to run) if you want to try and make things a bit easier (However you cant record anything then or have the features BPM gives) but this was done for the main menu and just like Feel The Bang it required loads of hoop jumping.
HOW TO INSTALL -----
I managed to get this to run via adding the program as a non-steam game, then booting the game up from the program (Proton Experimental) and having to use a keyboard to Alt-Enter into full screen mode.
You then need to change the directories for the modded folder to the one were each individual file is (Path/Save/screenshot and textures) and then tell it were the main folder is for the game.....but it refuses to see that.
First you'll need to load up another folder with a different game in it, then once the program sees that THEN you go back and tell it were Legends64 is and it should pop up in the list.
You'll need to move the music files manually and run them at least once via the music tool exe. Remember to also check HLE is selected in the options menu or else everything will show up as a mess.
Somehow this booted up in full screen mode and not the standard 4:3 that I was expecting it to do. If your planning on doing this yourself you'll need to make sure the modded files are in the correct app/path locations (bottom option not top) or else moves will glitch.
I would advise against trying to install this (might work better for Lutris) because I can no longer get the program to open anymore (Exactly like what happened with FTB) and when it did open back up its now crashing after a few seconds of being loaded up.

Oddly Graze Counter GM is a remaster of the original GC but with better graphics, improved music, new user interface and new additional unlockable characters. I say 'oddly' because the original GC is only around 5-6 years old and instead of a sequel we got given an improved remaster instead.
Its highly addictive even though the game feels short and offers up tons of options ranging from playing the game in hardcore mode to the challenges section of the game and more.
With various new characters to also unlock and each ship having its own different style and defensive systems it means that there's more than just one way to play this too.

Coast 2 Coast was an updated version of Outrun 2 and featured various new features (Yet oddly it was also missing a few) and a port which would go on to the PS2/PSP/Xbox and windows.
You would think this this being an important game by Sega that this would be kept alive and be available to buy on Steam or GoG or anywhere like that. But remember this is Sega.....so sadly they have left this game to rot even though the Windows version still looks and plays as great as it ever has.
Whilst this is the PSP edition I highly recommend you check out the windows version which is being kept alive by My Abandonware.

Mortal Kombat: Unchained was the PSP Edition of Deception and featured several additional characters that were missing from Deception. This included Gamecube exclusives Goro and Shao Kahn who were now followed by Kitana, Jax, Frost and Blaze who oddly WERE in the game previously but you could only fight against them in Konquest Mode.
I'm not sure WHY I cant get Frost fatality to work because I've gotten it to work before (Be close and U,D,L,R Square) but its decided not to work for me on this recording. So the stage fatalities will have to make up for it.

However that isn't to say that this port is perfect however. Due to the game being rushed and not ported very well the game had various bugs and glitches which were never fixed. The worst being how the save on the memory card would just random delete itself without any warning. This would only later be fixed by a re-release of the game which had a new label on it stating HOT and NEW. This fixed the random save file deleting issue.
The series would also switch to 3D for the first time and the results were not exactly brilliant by any means. Terrible voice acting (But at times painfully funny), unbalanced gameplay and graphics which you cant help but feel are rushed.....MK4 is one that certainly divided its fanbase.
Gameplay here is of hidden character Sektor who sadly doesn't have his own story. There's a few other hidden characters within the game such as Noob and others. Much like everything else within the game I'm fairly sure Sektor was a rushed job because you can even see one of his fatalities is just a 2D cut out rather than being created in 3D.

Final Fight LNS Ultimate Is a PC FanMade game and is a lot like Streets of Rage Remake in it that combines a lot of classic Capcom and SNK characters and then mixes them together in this tough as nails super side scrolling beat 'em up.
I do well for the standard Street Fighter/Final Fight section until I get to Bison who then gets taken out by Akuma. Setting this up isn't easy as you have to special finish all the past previous bosses. When this happens instead of the ending the game gives you more levels and you get given choices on what route to take.
Its once I get to here that the difficulty racks up several fold. I took the SNK route near the end (hardest) and have to fight God Rugal with Mature and Vice. I WANTED to show the ending but have had to cut it out completely because its rather offensive (Think edgelord).

V5.2 is an update (FINAL) to the Streets Of Rage Remake project which was being worked on by BomberGames and an update which millions never thought would ever happen. If your unsure as to WHY people didn't think this would happen then that's down to Sega.
Originally BomberGames had Sega's blessing to make and release this game....but because its Sega they then quickly changed their minds and told them to stop anymore progress on the game. Hence why people are surprised by this final update release.
This update (Final) for SORR has changed a hell of a lot of things around which include brand new levels, new animations, new weapon fatalities, new moves, new sprites and oddly all the original gang have had their SOR3 sprites removed and replaced with SOR2 sprites but now with new running, rolling animations added to them from scratch. You CAN unlock the other versions of the characters in the shop however if you earn enough points. So once you have enough points you can unlock SOR3 or SOR1 Axel etc etc.
The game also has a lot of features from all three past games which not only include the levels but also updated versions of SOR1 characters. SORR also has additional sections which were removed in the final edition of SOR3 which include the motor bike riding levels. SORR goes one up on this and now adds a new Jet Ski level section to go along side the motor bike level.
If your a fan of Easter eggs then watch out because this game is full of those too! ranging from Final Fight's Cody making a sneaky appearance, Sonic The Hedgehog arcade game, TMNT references, Alien references, Shinobi and many more. A big Easter Egg in this video is the appearance of the Un-used outfit for Blaze in SOR1 which never made it to final production but which was used later on for BKM (Bare Knuckle Mobile) which was released for mobiles in Japan only. In SOR4 in the gallery section you can see a photo of the outfit which ending up not being used but here in SORR the outfit has been made available for the player to use.
If you grew up playing these games and found that SOR4 was missing something or if your just a massive fan of the SOR franchise then you have to give this game a go because it really is one of the best ever made.
Nothing but huge love and respect to all the Guys/Gals who worked on making this incredible game come to life.

I wanted to see how this would look considering WWF Challenge 64 has been released and that has actually commentary to it as well. I wanted to see how Feel The Bang might look if that too had commentary.
This isn't perfect since I needed to turn off the games actual audio, then add additional background crowd noise (also ripped from WCW Mayhem) then having to go through everything that's been said to try and put it together with the events happening within the ring.
Annoyingly I couldn't get audio for the Warrior to be announced as the winner since Warrior isn't a choice within WCW Mayhem. So just ignore the fact the announcer at the end calls Warrior 'Player1' and just pretend he says Warrior.

VF4 is rather a bitter pill to swallow for me because originally this game runs on Sega Naomi software (Dreamcast) yet sadly VF4 never arrived on the Dreamcast and instead was ported to the PS2.
Sadly Sega had given up on the Dreamcast at this point and had begun porting their games to other systems as a result.
Its even more frustrating since this game was released back in 2001 era and since then all we've had is VF5 which then got updated to Final Showdown and then due to Sega being incompetent we got Ultimate Final Showdown.....but only for the PS4 system which thanks to that was quickly forgotten about and most people don't even know that it exists

Gameplay here is of the full game and is the Switch version. I've had to do some editing in the stage selection because for some odd reason my recording was glitching.
Drainus is a brilliant shoot 'Em up thats clearly a love letter to classic older shooters such as R-Type, Thunder Force 4, GDarius and others. If your a fan of these types of games then you have to check this one out.

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel was a 2D anime fighting game which pitted characters from various series such as Fate Stay Night, Senran Kagura and many others together in combat.
I'm not sure for what reason however as the plot seems to be rather all over the place at times.

The Saturn release of Waku Waku 7 is strangely the worst of all the releases....and I'm not exactly sure why that is because there isn't really a reason for it to be.
The game required the additional 1-4MB cartridge in order to run which should have given it the edge and make it almost arcade perfect like what X-men VS. Street fighter, KOF96, Darkstalkers 3 are but instead this release of the game has Longer loading times, lower audio quality, lower sprite quality and worst of all the backgrounds have all taken a massive hit and have less detail to them. So basically compared to the Neo Geo/PS2 release this looks like crap when really it has no reason to.
The PS2 and Neo-Geo releases are pretty much arcade perfect whilst the Sega Saturn version looks terrible by comparison and it honestly should look better than this because other games like Marvel Super Heroes VS. Street Fighter have shown its possible with Saturn hardware.
Perhaps Sunsoft just couldn't understand the complicated method to how the Saturn Dev Kit worked or perhaps they just didn't care as much seeing as how this was a Japanese only release. Either way its very sad because this is a fantastic game that deserved better treatment for this port to the Saturn.

The game requires some knowledge of what your doing to install as you'll be required to download the base game and music folder and then merge the 2 of them together and run the tool to unpack the commentary.
The game surprisingly plays very different to how WCW Feel the Bang does. I was expecting these 2 games to play the same but their both very different. WWF Legends plays a bit more like an Arcade style Game rather than a simulator like how FTB plays. Action in Legends moves much quicker and characters don't stay down for as long periods as what they will in FTB.
Also as fantastic as what this mod is there's a lot of great wrestlers missing from the roster. I don't think the game is fully finished yet since they released an update not that long ago. Hopefully an update should add other characters such as Super Fly, Iron Sheik, Sgt Slaughter, Yokozuna, Owen Hart, Doink and others.

I've used a modded version of the game (Pak file) hence why the credit thing seems off. The game can be a huge amount of fun but has an awful JUGGLE system in place (Think Tekken 8) were if an enemy hits you in the air then everyone else can just spam attack you.

First of all I apologise for the crap video quality. I recorded this on my PC from my actual copy of Last Bronx that I've had for years. I finally managed to get it to install on my PC (after about 2 hours of messing around) to find It would ONLY run in 640X480.
I then messed around for another hour installing XdVoodo2 (I think that's what it was called) to improve the resolution via force and least try and improve it.
I then used one of my upscalers and it looked ok (Better than 640x480) and uploaded it to YouTube. Once this had uploaded it said SD only......I checked this again and it had only uploaded in the original SD quality and seemed to have ignored the last 2 hours I had spent improving anything.
I checked the RAW video file VS this uploaded one from YT and they look very different. I contacted YT about this and got the usual nonsense of they clearly didn't check what the issue was and was told my file was in SD quality and apparently the same as the RAW file (which it clearly isn't) I tried to upload again and just had the same result 3 times. So sadly it appears YT wont load this in better quality even though I have it in better quality.
So this resolution is the best YT would upload this video.
The SegaPC line was a branch of games for the Sega Saturn which had been ported to the PC with various new features that the Saturn release didn't have and also which featured much better graphics.
Obviously being back in the 90s you needed a decent graphics card for these improved graphics (Voodoo 3000 anyone?) and even then when you look at these graphics now its actually rather impressive to think that this is running in software mode.
I'm actually rather annoyed by this video because I did one previously whilst setting this up for the first time and managed (For the FIRST time EVER) to get a PERFECT run as Lisa. I defeated everyone without a single loss and even got to fight the special stage at the end were you fight a Greyed out version of yourself.
I did this and recorded it from my Laptop only to check the footage back to find it had recorded in the poorest quality you can imagine and oddly running 30% slower......So I had to do everything all over again on my Tower PC and as you can see I didn't get a perfect run this time.

First you'll need to load up another folder with a different game in it, then once the program sees that THEN you go back and tell it were FTB is and it should pop up in the list.
The program also refuses to boot up in fullscreen at 16:9 (hence why in 4:3) and if your planning on doing this yourself you'll need to make sure the modded files are in the correct app/path locations (bottom option not top) or else moves will glitch.
I would however advise against doing this because today when I tried booting this up Project64 has decided to throw a hissy fit every 40 seconds and freeze crash. I've done no updates of any sort and whilst it worked perfectly yesterday it seems that today is another matter.
After spending about 2 hours on this with reinstalling, checking files etc. it still crashes after a couple of seconds without any explanation as to why. So unless Project64 make an appimage of the program (Doubtful) then I wouldn't recommend anyone bother trying to get this to run on the Deck because they'll just run into the same issue I have were it works one day and gives up the next.
Today I also can no longer get the program to even open anymore due to the fact I updated several other things when in desktop mode. So trying to get this to run is even more of a headache than before.
Gameplay here is of Jeff Jarrett VS Sting (Wolfpack version) in anything goes Hardcore match up.

Limited Edition was only released in Japan and was the base game of DOA2 but with a slight rebalance and a few new additional stages along with some new unlockable costumes (and characters).
For those curious how different (Graphics Wise) the game looks on the Dreamcast VS PS2 then here's the PS2 version for comparison:
youtu.be/rn7ndJTwpcc?si=TM1IBC7-hTUVQCg_
I've used a widescreen hack/upscaled the resolution to get the most out of this. However the game was never meant to be in widescreen and as a result there are a few bugs - mainly when changing stages as the blank screen only shows in 4:3 and not in full 16:9.
DOA2 would go onto have various different ports released from the original Dreamcast release to the special Limited Edition release to the Hardcore edition and then the Xbox Ultimate release.

SFA Anthology was a fantastic release on the PS2 which featured all x3 of the Alpha (Zero games) in perfect arcade form. Its strange because Capcom also did a Darkstalkers anthology but only released that in Japan. Why they released this but not that is a mystery.

Asura Buster is a rather strange game and one which a lot of people probably don't know anything/much about as it's a rather obscure 2D fighting game. You'd have to have been lucky to have played this in the Arcades as apparently it was a Japanese only release and I've only ever seen one cabinet out in the wild back in 2002.
Asura Buster is the sequel to Asura Blade: Sword of Dynasty and brings back returning characters, new stages, new moves, brand new characters, special moves and everything else you'd expect from a sequel. Even a priest shows up as the big boss who transforms into a giant face with floating fists. I'm not sure why...its just there.

Sadly I fail the mission at the end thanks to the timer running out and not giving me 20 additional seconds more to finish the final canon boss.
Virtual-On is a game I absolutely love and always will. However I originally played the Saturn release and then later on got to play the superior SegaPC edition of the game for the PC which supported better graphics and faster gameplay. Many years later the game would get a re-release on the PS2 under the SegaAges range. Years after that we would get an arcade perfect port be released on the 360 and PS3 but be a nightmare to get a hold of.
Virtual-On is a fantastic series which Sega seems to keep messing up. They got 1 and 2 right but everything afterwards has been a train wreck. How can Sega mess this up so badly and not just focus on the formula that made 1 and 2 such incredible games?

A spiritual successor/Parody to the classic arcade/16bit game SunSet Riders from Konami.
Set in the mean streets of San Francisco in 1969 its up to the elite unit of the Deathwish Enforcers to go out and fight crime against (NOT) Ron Jeremy, (NOT) Arnold schwarzenegger, (NOT) Grace Jones and a host of various others. Can (NOT) Eastwood, Bronson, Pam Grier, Diana Rigg and Moore handle such a case?

The gameplay in this video is of the Extra Edition with the English Fan Patch installed. The graphics have been upscaled and enhanced to 4K with widescreen enabled but dont go expecting anything super special since this IS a PSP game being upgraded.
Footage here is of Chapter 12 and things have gone very bad for the squad when their own side turns against them and the squad are now out on the run from not only the imperial army but also their own!
The sad fact about the Valkyria Chronicles franchise is that Sega being typical Sega dont seem to think fans want this franchise in its entirety and even when a Fan Patch comes out doing 95% of the work Sega needed to do...they still dont so anything with it.
Sega would go on to blame poor sales of the 2nd game as to why this one was never properly ported outside of Japan but honestly what were they expecting when they release the game on a system most people didnt own?
It would take many years later for die-hard fans to go through the game and translate most of it painstakingly into English so that everyone could enjoy it

A dark indie platformer about the world that's fallen into ruin due to a plague rain that never ends.
A single Holy priestess is all that's left to save the world. Can she and her phantom Knights succeed?

The PS2 would get various classic re-releases of Sega Saturn titles such as Last Bronx, Virtua Fighter 2 and Fighting Vipers.
These new re-releases would be much more enhanced versions of the games than what was released originally on the Sega Saturn system and would be practically arcade perfect ports.
The closest we had until these re-releases came about were the SegaPC editions of the games which were more closer (and better looking than the Saturn) looking to the arcade releases than that of the Saturn.
Gameplay here is of Fei-Yen in Arcade Mode on Normal. Everything here is practically the same looks wise as the Arcade edition of the game. So already vastly superior to that of the Saturn release. However the strange thing about this release of the game is that the ending music has been changed from that of the Saturn edition.

Oddly when Sega did the SegaPC ports they left out Fighting Vipers but chose to do Last Bronx instead. I'm not sure why this decision was made because at that time FV was a more popular title.
Gameplay here is of Fighting Vipers with Honey/Candy selected with Random and Hyper mode switched on. Random mode changes which character you'll fight on each stage, I've no clue what Hyper mode actually does so if anyone does actually know then please inform me.
Because the games are based off the Arcade ports these releases are extremely hard because their designed to just gobble up your coin. I'm sure as hell the game cheats (especially VF2) as I manage to fight my way through till the end when I have to face a level 9 Tokyo and then Mauler.

After playing it for more than an hour I wanted to uninstall it and honestly never bother with it again. Its a great idea in theory but sadly the game was originally passed off on mobile devices as a gotcha style game which then got ported to the systems with the gotcha stuff changed and then showing just how shallow the actual gameplay is.

The PS2 release looks good but its missing a lot of modes that came with it for the home ports on the Saturn and PC. It also came out at a time were it was 'Too little too late' by Sega because honestly they could have released Sega Ages editions of these on the Dreamcast but instead choose to ignore doing that.
The Dreamcast could have run arcade perfect looking ports of Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, Sega Rally, Virtua Cop and others but instead Sega didn't do the obvious and then a few years down the line re-released them for the PS2 instead...a rival console....which in all honestly feels rather strange even today.
