2024 Christmas Choreography from Coach Julia ssoftiss 2024-12-17 | My second year participating in Coach Julia's Christmas choreography - I had so so much fun! Been skating for 2.5 years now :)
Coach Julia 2023 Christmas Skating Program ssoftiss 2023-12-11 | I started skating roughly a year ago and I am so happy that I am at a level where I can participate in the christmas choreography of Coach Julia this year! I have watched and enjoyed so many of her skating tutorials. My skating journey has been quite the ride. I broke my wrist in my second month on the ice, and after a four week break I realized that I was suddenly way more afraid on the ice. Fighting the fear has been a continuous challenge so I know my jumps could be way higher, but I keep trying. I went to a few skating camps for adults and learnt so much there - but everytime I get back I keep losing skills I could do before, because my club has so little opportunities for coaching when you are not a kid aiming to compete. I could do a really nice one foot scratch spin some while ago and now it is just gone - or hopefully just taking a break ;) Even though I cringe when I see myself skating and could point out countless flaws I want to focus on the positive - skating this programme was just so so so much fun! I hope I will improve and stay healthy so I can contribute next year as well :)
