Kilterboards are a great training tool and can be found across most towns these days with the easy-to-use app and LED board to train on a huge variety of boulders so can be used in your training regime to build power.
I set three problems which can be found now on the Kilterboard app for you to try ranging from an easier problem right through to a 'pretty tricky' 8A which packs a punch at the end! The grades for these were all set on a 50 degree angle.
I hope you have fun on these and let me know in the comments below how you get on!

The Fifty Best Seven's Tour is back! This week is the second part of our trip to Northern Ireland where we climb more Fairhead Bouldering Classics and then venture to Spud Cave, easily one of the craziest places I have ever climbed! The caves are full of conglomerate pebbles, some the size of your head so it was essential to include in the 50 Best 7s series for the funky giant spud sized pebble pulling alone!
I cannot recommend Northern Ireland enough as a bouldering destination and Fairhead is a truly magical place and thoroughly deserving of a place in the top 50 7's!

Northern Ireland is not top of the list on people's #bouldering bouldering destinations in the UK but when the weather is good I can definitely say it is worth a visit. Adventurous #rockclimbing , highballs and stunning coastal scenery, this place is a unique experience I wholly recommend!
Fairhead and Northern Ireland has been on my list of bouldering locations to visit for a long while. My Mum is from Northern Ireland so I felt a bit of a connection to go and explore the area as a part of this 50 best tour! Fairhead is perhaps best known for its trad history but thanks to developers like guidebook author Rob Hunter, there is an extensive developed bouldering area to tackle!

In fact, I would go as far to say one of them is easily in the top ten!

North Wales as so much rock, with quality across the entire 7th grade spectrum all in some of the most spectacular backdrops across the UK!
This episode covers roadside mega classics such as Jerry's Roof through to immaculate rock up on Wavelength to spooky highballs on the Mallory boulder.
I love North Wales so much and loved making these episodes (despite the walk-ins!) so hope you enjoy! x

Ogmore has gained notoriety in recent years due to the rapid development of the bouldering scene led by local guidebook author Eliot Stephens and I can 100% recommend that it is worth a visit (also there is a @theclimbinghangaruk nearby in Swansea if it is damp or you just want to hangout!)
'Flying Fish' 7B/V8 opens this episode with steep powerful climbs through a limestone overhang which is a really fun power problem but this was just a warm up to 'Hydro', a recent 8B established by Eliot and I was happy to climb it second go and claim the first female ascent!
Following on from Hydro, 'Scoop Dragon Sit-Start' 7A+/V7 has a very big claim to be in the top 5 best 7's in the country. I cannot stress how good this boulder problem is and it should be on everyone's ticklist if you are climbing at the grade!
Finally, we swung by Limeslade crag for our final piece of coastal bouldering action with the excellent 'Taste the Rainbow' 7B/V8. For indoor wall climbers, this is definitely a problem for you with sea-worn juggy holds through steep terrain, this one is a real hidden gem that is definitely worth seeking out!
Next week, we head to North Wales but what did I miss and need to check out next time I am visiting South Wales?

This weeks episode covers the gorgeous sandstone Book of Love boulder in West Glamorgan which has some amazing holds and funky roof climbing to make 'Get Fresh' a sure fire addition to the Fifty Best list!
Then we switch over to Dinas Rock, one of the temples of hard bouldering in South Wales to try some classic lines on some very shiny limestone (as someone who climbs on Peak Limestone this feels like home from home!)
Finally, we head over to the atmospheric and dramatic Gower coastline to venture into the amazingly named Bacon hole to find some steep and crimpy board style climbing in an stunning location!

The west side of the Lake District has an amazing diversity of high quality climbing areas in some truly stunning locations. This was the first time I had ever visited St Bees Head and I was not disappointed with some of the very best climbing holds I have ever pulled! The bouldering required precision footwork and perfect climbing technique at all times on the rock. Eskdale Fisherground is picturesque venue with prickly granite that creates some awesome climbing movement on the very good 'Strong Arete'.
