Last Day of Chemo

Woohoo!
The end of 6 months of chemo!!!
I ….. am …… so ……. bloody ……. happy!!!!!

The longest 6 months ever and so very hard.
.
It was decided today at my last treatment that they would not proceed. My body has been fighting back in the last 10 days and has steadily been adding more complications to make life a little bit harder.
.
I admire every single person going through this journey it is hard - physically, mentally and emotionally and I was finding I was getting to the end of my tether with all three.
.
So pleased to be here. I get to have a two-week break then start an intense 5 weeks of radiation therapy.
.
But chemo is over!!!!
.
I would not have got here without the unwavering support of my family, friends and colleagues.
.
My family have been so patient and kind and I love you to bits. You mean the world to me.
.
My brother, his partner and gorgeous daughter have been incredible. My brother has kept in contact daily since this journey began. Showing his love and support being there every step of the way. It has been an incredible support and I appreciate the love so very much ❤️

My cancer journey so far - Breast Cancer - Chemotherapy

It’s been a long 6 or 7 months.

Diagnosed on 27 October, surgery on 7 December and starting chemo on New Year’s Eve.
I have had many tough days but with the support of my family, friends, a great boss and colleagues I have nearly made it to the end of my chemo treatments.
I could not have done it without them. This also includes all the wonderful supporters from around the world on IG and YouTube.

I still have radiation to go and then long term hormone therapy but one of the hardest legs is nearly behind me.

Only three weeks to go with chemo!! I have gained a hell of a lot of weight which I will have to work on. It’s tough when you have no energy to get moving. My hair is growing back albeit extremely grey 🫢 unfortunately no sign of any lashes 😢

I am excited as the weeks tick away and the number of treatments draw to a close.

My videos are mainly beauty related to makeup, skincare and other aspects of my life that may interest you and all aimed at mature women - women over 50. As well as loving beauty I am drawn to anything that sparkles, a desire to travel more and I love shoes (a lot).

On this channel, you will find reviews, tutorials with high end and luxury makeup, tutorials for mature skin, hooded eyes and mature eyes and reviews on skincare for mature skin that offer anti-aging benefits.

I am a qualified aesthetician after graduating with my ITEC internationally recognised diploma. I have also studied under the UK based Color Me Beautiful receiving my diploma in colour and styling. These qualifications were done as extra studies in areas that I am very interested in.
