Saint Francis Of Assisi (1181/1182 – 10/03/1226)
An Italian Catholic friar and preacher, Francis had been born into a wealthy family.
One day, while praying in the abandoned Church of San Damiano, Franics heard a voice coming from the crucifix.
This voice challenged Franics to rebuild the church.
At first Francis thought it meant that he should just rebuild San Damiano.
However, gradually Francis came to realize that God had meant for Francis to also "rebuild" the Church at large.
In response, Francis gave up his privileged lifestyle.
He went off to live a simple and poor life in imitation of Christ's teachings and not long after - he began to gather followers.
Francis is the founder of The Franciscan Order of Friars.
He is also the Patron Saint of animals, the environment and along with St. Catherine Of Siena - the Patron Saint of Italy.
Stone By Stone was originally composed by Donovan for the 1972 movie Brother Sun, Sister Moon.
The movie is a dramatization of the events in the life of St. Francis of Assisi - from before his conversion experience up to his audience with the Pope - and including his friendship with St. Clare of Assisi.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is a Rosary based prayer using the ordinary Marian Rosary beads.
The Chaplet may be repeated over a period of nine days as part of the novena which begins on Good Friday and concludes on the Saturday before Divine Mercy Sunday - the first Sunday after Easter.
On each day of the novena there is a prayer intention for a specific group of people.
These novena intentions are:
First Day – all mankind, in particular all sinners.
Second Day – the souls of priests and the religious.
Third Day – the souls of the devout and faithful people.
Fourth Day – for the non-believers and those who do not yet know Jesus.
Fifth Day – the souls of heretics and schismatics.
Sixth Day – the souls of "the meek and humble" and for little children.
Seventh Day – the souls of people who especially glorify Christ's mercy.
Eighth Day – souls in Purgatory.
Ninth Day – souls who have become lukewarm and indifferent.

Rejoice! Sing Hallelujah!
Christ has risen from the dead - just as he said.
Composed by Sister Suzanne Toolin
McCulloch's arrangement was used from Season 24 (1987) up until the last season - Season 26 (1989) of Classic Doctor Who.
(at which time the TV series was sadly suspended)
Sylvester McCoy portrayed the 7th Doctor for the last 3 seasons of the Classic run of the show.
McCoy would later return to the role as The Doctor for the made-for-TV movie in 1996.
This arrangement was used for the Classic Doctor Who season-long serial "The Trial of a Time Lord" - Season 23 - 1986.
*This was also Colin Baker's last season as The Doctor in the Classic run of the show.
* 4th Doctor Tom Baker's final season - after a seven consecutive season run - making him the longest-serving actor in the part of the Doctor - in the whole history of the show.
Peter Howell's arrangement would also serve as the main theme throughout all of 5th Doctor Peter Davison's seasons - including season 22 with 6th Doctor Colin Baker.
The Derbyshire arrangement served - with minor edits - as the Doctor Who opening theme music from season 1 (1963 - 64) - up to the end of season 17 (1979 - 80).
*FYI - Originally, the 1st Doctor's face never appeared in the opening credits during the first 4 seasons of Classic Doctor Who.
(I just added it in the video for visual interest)
Mostly composed by John Debney with additional music contributed by John Sponsler and Louis Febre.
(The original Doctor Who Theme was composed by Ron Grainer & Delia Derbyshire)
Performed by The BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
"Abide With Me" was written by Henry Francis Lyte in 1847 as he lay dying from tuberculosis.
It is most often sung to composer William Henry Monk's tune "Eventide".
The hymn is a prayer for God to remain present with the speaker throughout life, through trials, and through death.
The opening line alludes to Luke 24:29, "Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent", and the penultimate verse draws on text from 1 Corinthians 15:55, "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"
