I re-watched B.t.V.S. over the summer and until then I had forgotten Scott had even existed, and the re-watch reminded me of him, lol.I don't even know if these 2 couples work together considering Scott was only in like 3 episodes and then it was back to A.ngel, and Lux & Jones ended up together, but for some reason I get the same vibe off of each couple. idk. (THC) cocoaluvs 2011-01-20 | So, this wasn't going to be an entry for "The Hugging Contest", it was just going to be a video about Lisa & Erica that I started because I fell in love with a scene that just happened to end with a hug. Ok, so the syncing on the voiceovers is a bit off, but for some reason that's just how the episode is. :\ Also, there is a tiny glitch, but I didn't want to have to re-render just for that little clip. Wow, this scene was... wow. Lisa was going to give up on everything she had been working for because of the way her mother was pushing her to be the queen, trying to change her so that she wouldn't betray her. But then Erica let her know that she's there for her and hugged her, and I think this will give Lisa the strength to keep going behind Anna's back and save the world(and find a way to still be with Tyler without hurting him, lol) I've seriously enjoyed watching the Erica & Lisa relationship evolve. From her lying to her about being a V and going after her son with bad intentions, to her struggling through her emotional breakthroughs, to her finally deciding to help Erica and the 5th column, to this. Yeah, I love the show, but I hated that scene. And then i saw Alicia's (GreysALIASAnotomy) entry and it really made me want to do my own.So first, I started a Chlark one, and I was using a part of a song that was literally so emotional the singer started to cry during it, but using all the s9 scenes of Chlark was making me too depressed/angry, so I didn't do that one.But then I thought of Adam from Being Erica, and I knew I could make a really emotional video about Adam's story in "Adam's Family." So I was thinking about the dialogue that had what he wanted to say to his mom, and it was really intense, and so I wanted to use an intense song, and this song isn't *that* intense, but I think this little piece is... and there's no words here, so the voiceover isn't interfering with anything.Anyways, considering other entries I've seen, I don't think I have a snowball's chance in hell of even coming close to winning, but what the hell... I had fun making it, and I think it's a nice little video. Let me know what you think.

Being Erica || Theres a chance for you... (For GreysALIASAnatomy) cocoaluvs 2010-12-20 | I told you I would make you something. ;PSo, one of your wishes was to make a video of a fandom you don't watch and make you want to watch it. The fandom I chose... obviously... is Being Erica! This has got to be the most adorable show in the world, and while there are definitely sci-fi elements, the character is probably the most realistic character on television.Now, there aren't that many people that watch this show, so I really want everyone to want to watch it, lol... here's a little about the show:Erica is a woman in her 30's who's life is basically a series of badness. In the first episode, she loses her job for being overqualified, is dumped by her boyfriend she met online, and drinks a specialty coffee with hazelnut in it... and she's allergic to nuts. When she wakes up in the hospital she meets a therapist, Dr. Tom, who promises he can fix all of her problems. She tells him she has a lot of regrets, so he makes her write them all down. Then he starts to send her back in time to fix her regrets. The show is Erica's journey to a better life, and beyond. (I won't say what the beyond is in case this actually persuades anyone to watch and they don't want to be spoiled).This is one of my favorite shows at the moment, and I would love it if more people watched it.Also, some exciting news, in case anyone's interested, it seems like ABC is interested in making an American version of Being Erica. Then, on Wednesday, I heard the song on Being Erica. The first time, it was an Adam/Beatrice scene, and it was kind of cute, but then at the end, it was played again and this time it was Adam with Erica, and it was an acoustic version, and I was squee-ing SO DAMN MUCH! It was so perfect! So then K/B and Erica/Adam became linked in my head due to the music. I was going to do a video to these two couples with the obvious Hey, Soul Sister, but then I realized they have a lot more in common than just the song, so I wanted a more meaningful song, and I picked this one. And I've often said, Chlark was like the first time we were together, and Quinn/David were like the second time. In the video, I left out the middle, but this is basically our story. And I know it seems weird to focus on one relationship so much, but he was my first and only(so far) boyfriend, so it's kind of a big deal in my life. Another interesting tidbit: It was kind of Aly & AJ that got me through our first breakup, so it's kind of cool that it was Savannah, who is played by Aly, that told this story. JS. Also, don't let this fool you into thinking I like Marti/Dan. I don't. I'm absolutely in love with Dan/Savannah! Clark Kent & Richard Cypher || Breathing Space cocoaluvs 2010-07-23 | Where'd this video come from? I was thinking about all the similarities in what these two have been through. They've both been through basically the same things(although I personally think Richard has it worse because his situation is more complicated than Clark's, plus he's lost even more than Clark, and to top it all off Legend of the Seeker's only been on for 2 years... Smallville's been on for 9! Clark's had so much more time to deal with everything!) and especially w/ their families, the stories are pretty similar. So yeah... I had started another comparison video, but it was all over the place, and I really just wanted to show the family tragedy in this one. And I think the parts w/ Kara and Jennsen might be a bit out of place, with them being at least somewhat happy scenes in a video full of sadness, but I sort of wanted to show that they at least have that ONE family member, that even if they're only in it once or twice a season, that's there for them.

Life Unexpected || All I want is to be a part of it. {one sentence} cocoaluvs 2010-06-15 | "You guys are a family, whether Cate and I get married or not... all I want is to be a part of it." I've loved Ryan and Cate since the first episode. After they broke up, I kind of stopped watching for awhile, but I caught up right as they got back together. And then in the finale, the way Ryan handled the situation with Lux was amazing. He's so sincere, and would do anything for Cate and Lux. He's been there for them in ways that Baze can't be, and lets Baze step in as Lux's father. He understands that they need to be a family, but he also lets himself love Cate. While the show might want people to root for Cate and Baze, I really think that they should've made Ryan an ass or something. Because I can't not root for the guy that's always been there and will always be there. Baze is just not that guy yet, and Cate and Ryan both deserve to be happy now.
