This is concept layout they displayed at the 2021 IAAPA Trade show and I instantly liked it. The first layout they revealed in 2020 for the Axis Coaster. So, when I saw this layout, I started working on bringing it to life in NL2. I found an NL2 user Costa 202 (youtube.com/@Coasta101/featured) who had shared their custom Axis Trains and Script to make the ride work. After some testing and figuring out how to make it operate correctly. I set about making the on the layout as exact as possible. In addition, I spent a good deal of time working on getting the "Water-n-a-Bucket element working as I imagined it would being like a kind of no inverting loop.
The theme of the ride is that of a Moon base named Lunar Lab 23. The labs responsibility is to getting terraforming to work on the moon. Unfortunately their system for terraforming keeps going offline, requiring constant maintenance. Their solution for quick response times in Lunar Gravity is a rail based repair vehicle that can operate the quickest in the Moon's Micro-gravity environment.

Here is a tale about a sleepy little town named Rattlesnake Junction (Pioneer Village).
Rattlesnake Junction is a sleepy little pioneer village located on the confluence of the Rattlesnake River and Little Rattlesnake Creek was settled in 1847 by Mormon Pioneers looking for a peaceful life in the Rocky Mountains.
The village was a local economic powerhouse offering all the services the local population required. It had a village CO-OP, a pony express stop, a black smith, shoe repair, hardware store, carriage repair and the log flume direct fed lumber mill, only one like it in Utah.
By 1860, the local Lumber mill installed Utah’s first Log Flume to feed the supply of wood it required to fulfill orders. It was an extremely successful operation, that is until the railroad came to town. The railroads brought in lumber at a much cheaper price and quickly put the Lumber Mill out of business and land was quickly put up for sale.
The Lumber Mill sat for many months abandoned and falling apart before a buyer bought up the lumber mill. Nobody in the community knew who the buyer was and had hopes that their beloved local lumber mill would be restored.
However, the buyer just happened to be the one who had contributed to the lumber mills going under Mr. Simon Bamberger himself, it was his railroad that came to Rattlesnake Junction. Simon had made his fortune from a silver mining operation in Central Utah a few years before and was now investing that fortune in the search for gold.
There had long been a story told around the village that there was gold in them hills and Simon wanted it. Gold deposits get eroded over time by rivers and creeks and as it does it washes down and will collect along current and former creek beds. Simon had been prospecting along the creek and found a good deposit where the Lumber Mill was, which is when he bought the property. He quickly demolished the lumber mill and built new buildings under the Bamberger Mining Co. name.
Simon was not satisfied with finding just small deposits, he wanted to find what miners refer to as the “Glory Hole” or the source of the gold deposits. In order to find it with much haste Simon is calling upon you to come try his new “gravity railroad” on a gold rush through the hills of Rattlesnake Junction looking for the“Glory Hole.”
Coming in 2025 to Lagoon Amusement Park, The Prospector, a brand new wooden roller coaster that winds its way through the hills of Pioneer Village in the search of the elusive “Glory Hole.”

About a month ago, my brother released a recreation of a coaster he had seen in the game Tower Unite. I have never played Tower Unite. I watched his recreation, a link to it will be below, and then I watched a pov taken directly Tower Unite. The coaster design is decent and had some good merits.
I decided to first just recreate the coaster in No Limits but make it as a realistic B&M. I did that and had the intention of it ending there, but I couldn't get the ride off my mind because of how solid a ride it was. I decided to change up or remix a few elements to take the ride from a solid GP pleaser to a ride coaster enthusiasts would want to marathon.

I love Colossus. I love riding it, I love operating it, at least when I worked at Lagoon 20 years ago. Its such a good ride. Its a classic! I am glad Lagoon has this in their collection.
I created a recreation of it before when I was first getting started in No Limits Roller Coaster Simulator. Back then it was NL1 and my skills weren’t great. In the years since, I have toyed with the idea of recreating the coaster again now with my better skills and the great improvements from the NL team in NL2 but put it off for many years. Well, I decided to do it and part of the decision was that it was that I would go all out on the detail department. I committed to making all the custom scenery and I created all of it.
One detail I wanted was the headlights that ran on the ride but have been removed. I thought it was a cool effect. On the real ride the way they worked was by a generator connected to the road wheels. When they go to full speed the lights powered on and when they slowed down the lights turned off. This required a custom script to be created to get them to turn on and off correctly. I meddled with it for a bit but eventually I had to call in some help. Two users on the No Limits Central Forums had a hand in helping me. The first was the user known as BestDani for sharing his attachment script to attach the headlights to the trains and 2nd and the most helpful was the user known as MrRC. He put in the time into making the script work perfectly. I couldn’t have completed this bit of detail with out his help.

Features a Multi-Launch.
The thought behind the design is that it could be used for the Navy to reliably put cadets through a predictable course of g-forces. Its built around a decommissioned aircraft carrier to provide many near miss elements than if the coaster did not include the themeing.
The name stands for: Fleet Aircrew Simulation Training.
The aircraft carrier used was downloaded from the Sketch-up 3D warehouse. The interior modifications were all done by me, along with the pier.
The coaster design is an original design by me.

She came up with the layout and the name / theme.
We took her drawing and did some slight adjustments in order to have the coaster operate realistically. She picked the type of coaster. She wanted it to be one where your feet hangs down like Bat at Lagoon. I showed her all the different ones of that type and she choose the B&M Inverted Design.
She wanted it to be themed to Unicorns. It went through a few different names before coming up with The Amazing Flying Unicorn. She wanted it to be have Purple, Teal, and Yellow colors. I came up with a few different combinations of those colors and she chose the one she liked best.
This was a fun project to work on. I plan on doing more with her. On the next ones, I'll teach her more about the program I use. It has a steep learning curve but she is brilliant and I know she will figure it out. So hopefully her next design she will do more in the simulator.
Music is Geronimo by Sheppard, I used it because it best fit the coaster.
Although, it does make for a good basis for a NL contest. Therefore, I started a NL contest over Lagoon Fans Forum (lagoonfans.com/nl2-competition-t6170-s20.html#p87725) on this topic. No prizes, just a fun contest to see what a suspended coaster over the "lagoon" would look like.
This is my first time designing an Arrow Suspended and there isn't much that can be done with them besides swooping drops and turns. I tried to keeping as realistic to how Arrow would have designed it combine with my own ideas for a custom coaster. I hope you enjoy it.

Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) is a roller coaster design company based in Hayden, Idaho. They have developed two different track systems for wooden roller coasters. One keeps a wooden roller coaster considered a wood roller coaster and their other system, all all steel I-beam make a wood coaster be considered a Hybrid. They are contracted in by parks and revive or completely redo old wooden roller coasters.
This is my design if Lagoon was to ever Hybrid their wood Roller Coaster. I don't even want this to happen. Roller Coaster is a classic and is the 7th oldest operating coaster in the world. There are other much better candidates for RMC's Hybridization. I think newer, poorly designed wood coasters are better candidates. Lagoon takes very good care of Roller Coaster and it will be running forever.

I left the old station and PTC trains as I had done many hours of 3D modeling on the station and didn't want to waste all that work. Maybe someday I'll go back and model the new station and put out a video with the GCI trains.

A perfect addition to Lagoon.
Have you ever been to Lagoon's Kiddyland and tired navigating around with multiple kids and a huge stroller? If you have you know how crapped Kiddyland can be. In one of my previous videos (youtube.com/watch?v=74RJDAiFweY) I moved Lagoon's water park to a new location on the north end. As a sequel to that, I created a way to use the former water park land to expand and give Kiddyland some space and give it two new large family attractions and Gravity Group Family Wood Coaster named Wayfinder and an unnamed family dark ride. I added more paths and more dining options.
The name Wayfinder comes about because of the rides location. Sitting on the historic location of Lagoon's swimming areas/ beach and on the way to Pioneer Village. A Wayfinder is just a Polynesian Pioneer and so a ride that sits on the beach and heads to PV, the name just fit.

So when NL2 released the RMC Hybrid Update earlier this year, I knew my GCI design was a perfect candidate to use it on. It had lots of great already to go theming and would be like real life, in that an existing wood coaster would be converted over, instead of just making a brand new design.

So this remix was much harder than Wicked, Wicked has a boring 2nd half so it was easy to redo it. Cannibal has a strong layout and so it was hard to change that. I tried several versions of keeping the Lagoon Roll in the ride but it just didn't fit and so it was eliminated, which was a hard thing to do. I hope you all enjoy Cannibal: Remixed!

In January 2019, I now have NoLimits 2. My NoLimits skills are much improved. On the 6th year anniversary of NoLimits2, the NL2 Dev Team released a new update featuring a new RMC Hybrid track for wood coasters. While most have just started making new custom creations, I decided to follow how RMC got their start and take my old wood designs and convert them from wood to Hybrid. I have undertook two of my wood designs thus far. This one being my first ever roller coaster design, will now be my first released Hybrid.

Since the days of Simon Bamberger’s there has been a super-secret division of Lagoon that is now not so secret anymore. This super-secret division has been hidden in many different locations at Lagoon over the years but most recently was located under the Hydro Luge attraction on the northern boundary of the park. A recent accident has exposed them, an accident that was caused by not enough caution. The accident happened as they were coming up with Lagoon’s next big thing as that was the division’s purpose. This super-secret division is known as Lagoon Labs.
Lagoon acting quickly to cover up this disaster put Lagoon Lab’s to work as the containment crew. The plan was, as the saying goes to make lemonade from lemons by making this now no longer secret Singularity the parks next new BIG attraction and make it look intentional. In collecting the facts of what caused the disaster, turning the Singularity into an attraction at the park would not be straight forward. The ride system could not be powered as they did not want a repeat of the powered probe incident causing the Singularity to react violently again. After much thought, they determined the best way to make an attraction that would be predictable and reliable would be a technology they knew well, a roller coaster.
In the process of designing a roller coaster to travel into the Singularity to the Half- Dimension, it was discovered that the optimal speed for which to enter it was when the train reached a speed of 88 MPH. In addition, the train would need to have a coating of Flux to protect the rides and the train itself from the intense magnetic field inside of the Half-Dimension. The Flux keeps a opposite magnetic field established around the train allowing it to travel safely. To ensure the proper magnetic field is kept around the train there have been re- magnetization tunnels that glow teal in color to keep the field at proper levels. Then to exit the Half Dimension quickly this field must be removed and quickly. To do this a de-magnetization tunnel colored red to remove the field and then to ensure total removal the train will enter a splash down which removed all magnetic fields the train still has.
Now it’s you turn to enter the Half-Dimension on:

The tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster in the Inter-mountain West! Diving into the Half-Dimension from 245 feet in the air at 80 degrees and falling for 256 feet at 88 MPH. For 2019, the No Limits Roller Coaster creations will still continue, as I do have a few in works to be released very soon. But for the longest time, I’ve thought about starting a podcast on this channel but didn’t want it to be just white noise as there are quite a bit of roller coaster themed amusement park channels out there. I figure it was a new year and a good time to start a pod cast.
This pod cast will be uploaded monthly and will feature amusement park news with Utah Connections. Which includes Lagoon (Utah’s only amusement park), Utah based ride manufactures, ride fabricators, etc. It will also be covering about my project in writing a book about the Saltair Beach Resort (1893 -1958).

Project 2021: The Revitalization of Pioneer Village
I believe Pioneer Village to be one of Lagoon’s greatest assets. A living museum of how life was back in the late 1800’s in the state of Utah, United States. However, in 2017 it will have been 20 years since a ride was added in the area, back when Rattlesnake Rapids was added in 1997. This is mostly because of how close Pioneer Village is to the City of Farmington, Utah and the noise levels rides make. Lagoon has added small things to Pioneer Village since but no major rides. I have set this video to be for the 2021 season. For three main reasons:
1. It will be Pioneer Villages 45th anniversary at the park
2. It will be 100 years since Lagoon built their last wooden roller coaster, being Roller Coaster built in 1921.
3. It would be 6 years since the major 26 million dollar investment that is Cannibal and Lagoon typically waits 4-5 years between large additions.
I think a good western themed roller coaster is just what Pioneer Village needs. Will it ever happen? Probably not, as it is too close to the City of Farmington, Utah and the homeowners complain about the noise and wood coasters are very loud rides. I would love for it to happen but I am not holding my breath.
The S&S Screamin’ Swing I do think one ride Lagoon is missing from their collection of rides. These are great and very fun rides and as with most rides from S&S very easy on maintenance and operating costs and they are manufactured just one hour drive away from Lagoon in Logan, Utah. It is pretty much a no brainer, you would think.
The coaster design is influenced by GCI (Great Coasters International) wood coaster design but is not intended to be a GCI design. The lift is influenced from RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) as a way to fit a wood coaster lift in an area where a traditional wood roller coaster lift could not fit or work. The lift of this ride goes over Farmington Creek and with the close proximity of the buildings of Pioneer Village; a traditional wide wood coaster lift structure would not work. Therefore, the lift structure would be constructed out of steel and able to span the creek.
The design is intended to perfectly fit in Pioneer Village and to not affect any of the buildings except one. The blacksmith shop would be moved slightly to the north of its current position for the Tunnel entrance. The Main Street clock will also receive a new flowerbed around it and new seating around it. This is mainly because for the tunnel to be constructed it would be moved temporarily. Also with the recently added Swig drink stand (2016) on the south end of the Village it would make sense to have some more seating in that area as to make it a kind of gathering place on the south end of Pioneer Village.
As you probably already guessed, a large part of the project sits on ground currently occupied by the Zoo. I have nothing against the zoo and know personally that the animals receive only the best treatment possible. However, I feel that it needs to go or be reduced in size. The land it is sitting on is very valuable space in the heart of the park and can be better utilized as my video shows but the better utilization is not limited to just my idea for the space.

This is a re theme of my Arachnid Coaster video. The coaster is a design by Arrow Dynamics called the Arrowbatic. They had a family and extreme versions. This is the extreme version.
I have added a few custom elements and lots of custom scenery to this ride. It is now more of how I would design it.
When doing a recreation I feel its best to be as accurate as possible. The real ride stats are exact on my recreation. Exactly 2050 feet of track and 55 mph.
