UPDATE:
I forgot to explicitly mention an important workflow detail:
Basically, WHEN YOU GET PRETTY MUCH ANY FOOTAGE, after you import it into Premiere (or whatever NLE you use), before you put it onto the timeline, YOU SHOULD CHECK THE FRAMERATE. Do not assume that it will match your timebase. It's always possible that the camera operator made a mistake! (The framerate can be checked easily and quickly for lots of footage at once, using the List View in the bin (the bin is also known as the project panel.))
If any of that footage has a framerate that is DIFFERENT from your timebase, then you can use the techniques I've described here to try to alleviate that.
However, keep in mind that SOMETIMES, the listed framerate isn't correct, (visibly) because the clip was ruined by another editor, as described at 14:04. As your editing skills improve, you'll be able to spot a framerate mismatch like this while playing the video at 100% speed. (You will never notice a framerate mismatch at 200% or 300% speed.) However, the best test for this is ALWAYS to just watch the footage frame by frame. While paused, just slowly hit the right arrow key, (to advance by just 1 frame) over and over, and carefully watch the monitor. Repeated frames will immediately become obvious. This will usually show up as one repeated frame per 5 frames, which is what I meant when I say "according to the appropriate spacing" at 13:05. But this absolutely can sometimes be at an interval other than once every 5 frames! The frame-by-frame test will always show you where those repeated frames are! When you spot one, keep going frame-by-frame. Don't always assume that the interval is constant, like I did with that footage from Apple! (Which I then notice and fix at 13:24.)
As mentioned, SKIPPED frames are harder to spot, but can most easily be seen during panning moves.
NOTE that the results of this test may be different depending on if you are using the Program monitor or the Source monitor! The Program monitor is using your Timebase, while the Source monitor is not. The Source monitor always shows your video clips exactly as they are, before they are altered in any way by the Sequence you place them into.

Davinci Resolve also has Hue vs. Hue!
Photoshop can also do this. The hue/saturation panel has an eyedropper/color picker! Then you can adjust what colors are affected, and use the sliders to change the hue, saturation, and lightness.
I don't know if Vegas Pro has Hue vs. Hue. (Maybe use an HSL key instead?)

10:47 Explaining how guide layers work (in After Effects)
13:09 The color picker does NOT ignore guide layers
14:02 Monitor color profiles can be thought of as a type of guide layer!
14:59 And now to introduce an orange .ICM file:
github.com/TaranVH/2nd-keyboard/blob/master/INFO_and_PROFILES/COLOR/3008WFP_DVI--Taran_ugly_orange.ICM
15:46 THIS IS WHERE ALL OF YOUR .ICM FILES ARE LOCATED:
C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color
16:23 IF YOU DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH MONITOR COLOR MANAGEMENT AT ALL:
Go to (Windows key) → "Color Management" and see if you have a color profile installed. If you do, but you didn't put it there, you should add "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" and make that one the default instead. (Or better yet, use a profile that says "Uncalibrated")
16:52 How to set a specific color profile as your default, in Windows
Notice how the colors in Photoshop will now change as soon as you click into it.
21:08 KEY LESSON: Do not take screenshots or screencapture of applications that are color managed!
HOW TO ENABLE COLOR MANAGEMENT in various applications:
18:52 Photoshop (It happens automatically)
23:11 After Effects
QUESTION 1: In After Effects, why does choosing "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" use my default color profile (in this case, 3008WFP_DVI) instead?
24:26 Premiere
26:07 QUESTION 2: I have no idea why the color management results in Premiere are quite different from PS and AE. Any ideas??
QUESTION 3: (Not shown) How do you enable color management in Davinci Resolve??
26:30 Explaining why color management is important -- most monitor are oversaturated!
29:00 Getting ready to calibrate the monitor (With CalMAN)
Your monitor's menu settings are SEPARATE from what the calibration is going to do! It is only part 1/3 of the calibration!
Also, make sure you are using an uncalibrated color profile before you start calibrating!!
32:55 And now to calibrate the monitor! (It does not go well)
34:06 Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to use the calibration software (CalMAN client.) If you need help with that, you'll have to find some other tutorial...
QUESTION 4: Do you know of a good video tutorial for CalMAN client calibration?
34:23 Calibration produces and applies a 1D LUT to the screen that only changes the physical pixels. Super important! This is part 2/3 of the calibration. The .ICM file (which alters the logical values) is part 3/3
37:20 So, now we have a proper monitor color profile, which you should get working in all your applications, as I've already shown at 24:00 and 25:21
37:36 THE SCREEN RECORDING PARADOX
You have to turn off calibration before you create a Photoshop/Premiere/After Effects/etc tutorial. This way, the audience's colors will be accurate, even though yours will not.
39:36 HOW TO DISABLE COLOR MANAGEMENT in various applications:
In Chrome:
In the address bar, go to chrome://flags/#force-color-profile and set it to "sRGB"
Further reading:
reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/930egn/set_force_color_profile_to_srgb_and_google_chrome
In Firefox:

gfx.color_management.mode
And set it to "2." (Or 0 might work as well, IDK.)

41:54 Multi-monitor stuff, idk.

53:44 Your GPU might be showing you partial or "limited" colors (resulting in posterization.)
You can change that in the Nvidia Control Panel under "Adjust video color settings" → Advanced → Full (0-255)
QUESTION 9: What exactly does that setting do??
--54:10-- Here's my tutorial about "partial" and full video: youtube.com/watch?v=I9d8bg2gnug
EXTRA - QUESTION 10:
16:30 What's the difference between monitor calibration and monitor profiling?
not
On the other hand, it seems like all major NLEs should have already had this ages ago.
Update: Apparently, this is usually called "sharp bilinear."

0. 2:48 The problem with most color correction tutorials
1. 4:32 How would you color correct this shot of Linus in front of a bright window?
2. 5:51 How would you color correct this shot of the inside of the Oneplus factory?
Here is the Lynda course that left me with far more questions than answers: lynda.com/course-tutorials/Color-Video-Editors/711831-2.html
3. 7:35 Why did Robbie use the GAIN control to fix the blue shot here?
4. 8:47 Does Premiere have controls that work the same way as DaVinci Resolve's “Color Wheels” of lift, gamma, gain, and offset?
5. 10:14 How did Robbie achieve the look shown at 3;33 of this video?
lynda.com/Premiere-Pro-tutorials/What-would-you-do-Creative-evaluation-examples/711831/752713-4.html
6. 11:43 Why couldn’t I get the classic “teal and orange” look to work for this shot inside of the LIGO building?
7. 13:08 - At 4;13 of this video: lynda.com/Premiere-Pro-tutorials/How-long-how-much-effort-project-take-color-correct/711831/752715-4.html
Robbie says that Go Pro footage would be very difficult to color grade to look like Skyfall (2012), but he does not explain why. Is it the color space? The compression? The 8 bits (per channel)?
8. What kind of footage IS best for color grading?
9. What should be done or avoided when filming, to ensure the most options for color correcting/grading?
10. Once you figure out how to get that look, can’t you just create a LUT, and apply that to all the (color corrected) Go Pro shots?
14:37 - At 4;15 of this video: lynda.com/Premiere-Pro-tutorials/Controlled-correcting-lighting-neutral-environment/711831/752707-4.html Robbie says that “bias lights” have a very high CRI value - but he does not explain further.
11. What is a good resource to learn more about CRI as it relates to video production?
12. Why do bias lights need to have a high CRI?
13. Is a high CRI also important for the lights used on a set? Is higher always better?
14. If a camera only records the frequencies of R, G, and B anyway, then why does it even matter?
15. If a light source with a very low CRI is desirable for a shot,, wouldn’t it still be better to use a higher CRI when filming, and then make the shot more monochromatic during color correction/grading?
(Better Alternatives to CRI: TLCI (Television Lighting Consistency Index), SSI (Spectral Similarity Index))

17. 18:27 *SUPER IMPORTANT* (Answered question) Why does some footage have information that goes far “above” 100 IRE on the video waveform? ANSWER: (Taran) That footage was encoded as Y'CbCr, not sRGB.
18. 23:47 On this footage from the XA20, why is the brightest part of the image at 275, (110 IRE) rather than 255? (100 IRE) youtu.be/m0D2H0s-TMo
19. 24:49 Why is a pure white blown highlight NOT the "highest" part of this “YUV” video information?
20. 25:08 Why does the XA20 also put its “100% zebras” at 110 IRE, rather than 100 IRE?
21. 25:49 If you have “YUV” video where the information goes above 100 IRE, but it is able to be recovered, is that really “clipping”? Or, is there a different term for that?

Update2: Image≫mode≫RGB color also doesn't work: https://i.imgur.com/99L99dL.jpg
Update3: Edit ≫ Assign Profile... ≫ Don't color manage this document -- does not work: https://i.imgur.com/sqR3xYv.png
I need to be able to use a color profile on my monitor(s), so that my colors are accurate. But Photoshop takes it a step further, by changing the actual pixel values, and then lying to me about it when I use the eyedropper tool to check. I have no idea what's going on, or how to stop it.
Some people in the comments are saying that this is how sRGB is "supposed to look," but that can't be right... why is the saturation so much greater on everything else? Wasn't my monitor calibration supposed to fix that already? I used the Spectracal C6, and Displaycal.
Here's the paper I'm citing:
https://web.ma.utexas.edu/users/davis/reu/ch1/signals/chroma.pdf
In regards to computer monitors, CIELAB would be an absolute color space if a white point AND a white LEVEL were defined, but it's not, so it isn't.

I still use Screengrab! because it's not broken YET... if you want to try it, I've rehosted it here:
github.com/TaranVH/TaranAssets/tree/master/Screengrab_Firefox
Chrome also has a fairly powerful full-page instant screenshot ability, but IDK if I can assign a shortcut to it yet: davidaugustat.com/web/take-ultra-high-resolution-screenshots-in-chrome (I recommend you use a device pixel ratio of 1, (not 2 or 4) and input the real resolution you want.)
STUFF I FORGOT TO MENTION: Firefox does have a feature where you can press F12 to get to the developer tools, and (if you change a setting somewhere) there is a little camera you can click on for an instant full page (with scaling) screenshot: imgur.com/E0A5dBt
HOWEVER, you can't assign a shortcut to this action, you can't choose the title or the folder it goes into at all (it always goes into the default downloads folder) and there are no settings for giving it an automatic custom title. (it would be far better if it included the website title.)
It also doesn't work on some web pages in my experience (but maybe they fixed this), while the old Screengrab! had worked on 99.9% of all pages, in my experience.
(Despite all those issues, this still might be the current best way to take multi-page screenshots, until something better comes along...)
You can also take a screenshot in firefox by right clicking and selecting Take a screenshot - Save Full Page... but that only ever seems to use 100% scaling, (or just has a maximum size of 10,000px) making it useless to me: imgur.com/XSrWe0X
Here's the web page I was doing my testing on:
apple.com/ca/macbook
(If a page has too many animated elements, I'll just use shadowplay to capture it.)
It can be repurposed to work with any audio.
Top left is just straight audio converted to keyframes. bleh.
Top right is audio converted to keyframes, but I used position.speed to center the movement on 0, which is far, far more accurate for how a speaker driver works.
Bottom left was a failtastic fail.
The one on the bottom right was made by converting audio to keyframes at 240fps, and then used in the 60fps sequence. It resulted in far too large of movements in this particular musical piece.
I think I'll be making a tutorial about this, later.

● 2:02 Are there shortcuts to twirl and untwirl entire layers??
( Here is my AHK code to do it: github.com/TaranVH/2nd-keyboard/blob/master/After_Effects_Functions.ahk )
(OLD CODE shown in this video, which only works with AE 2018 and 150% UI scaling:

● 14:29 Why is "playing" slow and weird if not ALL the RAM previews are finished, even if the part I want to preview is already rendered?
● 15:21 Why do AE panels have an inner box to them, which can be a different size than the outer box? I keep losing stuff in them. FEATURE REQUEST: Don't do that. Have the panels work like Premiere's. I'm not even sure how to articulate this one. Watch the video.
This feature is necessary for another feature suggestion of mine to work properly: youtu.be/5UOfQc1TKaY?t=123 (Twirl/untwirl shortcuts)

DEFINITELY DO NOT REMIX MY HIT SINGLE, "Dumbest Thing in the World" WHICH RUNS FROM 8:20 TO 8:41. ME AND MY TEAM OF HIGHLY PAID LAWYER/NINJAS WILL SUE AND KICK YOUR ASS. DO NOT USE AUTOTUNE AND A SICK BEAT, AND PERHAPS USE IT OVER SOME FOOTAGE OF SOMETHING THAT YOU PERSONALLY BELIEVE TO BE THE DUMBEST THING IN THE WORLD. THAT WOULD NOT AT ALL BE HILARIOUS AND RESULT IN A RETWEET FROM ME OR SOMETHING.
Deliberately not sent to subscribers. :P

This is a hard question to phrase properly.
Basically, I don't want to keyframe the "First Margin" value directly.
I want to do all the animation using sliders, because the thing that really matters is the SPEED at which the 1101000101 animation is moving.
Does anyone (WITH EDITING OR MUSIC EXPERIENCE) have any advice for me?
I try lots of different keywords, but the results never seem to match what I have in mind.
One thing that works well for me is to have the video playing at the same time, as you can see here. It helps me match the tone better.
I probably don't listen to some of these tracks for quite as long as I should. Still, many of them are just obviously wrong.
I should also pause the music playback completely sometimes, as a sort of a "palate cleanse." If you listen to such a wide variety of music in so a short time, it all kind of blends together in your mind, and nothing sounds right.
Here's a meme about this: https://i.imgur.com/1rrxgty.png
YOU MIGHT NEED TO DISABLE WINDOWS GAME BAR, OR AT LEAST CHANGE THE SHORTCUTS! Just hit the windows key and search for "game bar settings." Click on that and turn it OFF. Here is a picture of that process: https://i.imgur.com/yQlOB38.png
I figured out the issue with the github repo, it was the readme.md... someone had written one for me a long time ago, but I had recently made a new one.
I didn't properly explain it in the video, but the reason the script uses SC0E8 instead of F12, is because then it would be hitting F12 all the time, which would be bad if you have ANYTHING assigned to F12! Scan code 0E8 is a key that Windows supports, but it does not appear on any keyboard, and isn't used for anything else (that I'm aware of) so it's (very probably) safe to use for this purpose.
Here's a bunch of Philistines saying that this can't be done:
