Adam Savage’s Tested 2024-10-15 | Adam completes a dream build: turning himself into a life-size frozen-in-carbonite statue to hang in his workshop! Utilizing the frame of a previous Han in Carbonite build, Adam pieces together a mix of 3D printed and milled foam parts from a full body 3D scan done at FBFX. It's like putting together a life-size model kit, complete with body filling, additional sculpting, painting, and weathering to tie it all together. Hanging this display up in the workshop is no easy feat, either!

Adam Savage’s Tested 2024-10-02 | To get a specific finish on metal prop parts, Adam needs to build a sandblasting cabinet--a contained space in which blow media such as walnut shells onto parts to cut or dull their surfaces. For a tool that Adam might use only a few times a year, he couldn't be happy with the finishes he's able to get on metal after just sandblasting for a few minutes!

Adam Savage Builds a Paperclip Borromean Box with @standupmaths

Adam Savage’s Tested 2024-09-18 | Adam and Matt Parker (of @standupmaths and @numberphile ) attempt another mathematical sculpture build, this time a construction of a "Borromean Box" using 81 interlinked oversized paperclips! It's a construction that neither have attempted before, and demonstrates the concept of linked Borromean rings manifest in dense interconnected cube. It's going to be quite a challenge!

Adam begins a new animatronic puppet build, the specific details of which will be revealed in due time!
