RecallRorschach in Prison. Incident in the food line, a monstrous man named Otis holds a prisoner's shiv to his back, and Rorschach grabs a canister of hot cooking fat, smashing it into his face, giving him severe burns. As the guards haul Kovacs to solitary, he screams to the other inmates, "None of you understand. I'm not locked up in here with you. You're locked up in here with me."
Plot It's 1985 in an alternate reality. The Watchmen - comprised of the Comedian, Dr. Manhattan, Nite Owl II, Ozymandias, Rorschach and Silk Spectre II - are a disparate band of masked superheroes, modeled after the Minutemen, who were masked superheroes of a generation earlier, most of who are dead or afflicted by the ravages of life. The Comedian belongs to both groups. Despite the activities of the Watchmen leading to the west winning the Vietnam War which in turn has kept Richard Nixon in the White House, Nixon has now outlawed masks, resulting in the Watchmen disbanding and going into retirement, most hiding their Watchmen past under their human identities. However, the Comedian, in his human persona of Eddie Blake, and Dr. Manhattan - former physicist Jon Osterman who obtained his superhero powers through a scientific accident which almost killed him - now work for the government. Dr. Manhattan's powers in particular have kept a watch over nuclear proliferation, as he is able to stop any nuclear attack. Regardless, the Cold War is at its height with recent Soviet posturing regarding nuclear bomb buildup. In her human persona of Laurie Jupiter, Silk Spectre II is Dr. Manhattan's assistant and lover, as much as they can be in Dr. Manhattan's now non-human state.
Meanwhile, Ozymandias has come out to the world as wealthy genius Adrian Veidt, capitalizing on his Ozymandias identity to better the world, and Rorschach continues to work as a vigilante, although one wanted by the law despite he the reason that many criminals are behind bars. When Blake is murdered, Rorschach, as the only one still on the streets, believes the murderer is out to kill all the Watchmen, despite any number of people wanting to kill the Comedian for being a misogynist.
Evidence points to it perhaps having something to do with an imminent attempt of nuclear annihilation. Rorschach has to convince his colleagues, who he has not seen since their superhero days, of the validity of his theory for them to come out of retirement, which is no easy task. If they do, which will require them to overcome external forces which seem to be conspiring against them, they will have to discover both who killed the Comedian and why before they befall the same fate as him and/or before the mastermind is able to exact his larger grand plan.

Poison Ivy has been controlling Bruce Wayne for three months. Poison Ivy has been forcing Bruce Wayne to sign over assets to Carmine Falcone. Catwoman rescues Bruce Wayne (and Alfred) from Poison Ivy. In the meantime, the Holiday killings have continued through Valentine's Day (February), St. Patrick's Day (March), and April Fool's Day.
The next holiday killing occurs on Mother's Day (May). On the same day, Scarecrow and Batman get into a fight. Although Batman wears a gas mask, Scarecrow uses a syringe to inject a liquid fear solution directly into Batman's abdomen. Batman staggers around Gotham, ending up in Crime Alley. Catwoman saves Batman again, taking him home before anyone can discover his real identity. The Holiday killer murders Sal Maroni's father on Father's Day (June), which causes Maroni to try to make a deal with Harvey Dent. Maroni says that he'll testify against Carmine Falcone in exchange for prosecutorial immunity.
On the Fourth of July, Harvey and Gilda Dent as well as Captain Gordon and his family watch the evening fireworks display on a boardwalk. A mob hitman attacks the Dents, though he claims that he's sending a message rather than trying to actually kill anyone. Catwoman intervenes but is in turn knocked unconscious by the hitman while she's talking to Harvey. Harvey and the hitman engage in a fistfight, with the latter besting the former. When Harvey awakens, he sees the hitman dead under the boardwalk, with the Holiday killer's signature pistol next to him. During this evening's events, Harvey begins hearing Two-Face's "voice".
Batman finds paraphernalia associated with the Holiday killer in the Dents' basement, along with an Oxford pennant. Like others, he thinks that Harvey is the Holiday Killer. However, Gordon informs Batman that Harvey attended local schools, which means that the pennant probably belongs to Gilda instead. (Alberto Falcone also attended Oxford, something he mentions in Part One.)
At a trial, Harvey begins to interrogate Sal Maroni about Carmine Falcone's activities. Maroni appears to discuss some criminal activities before pivoting and stating that Falcone is a law-abiding citizen. Eventually, Maroni throws acid on Harvey's face in what's supposed to be an assassination attempt. However, Harvey does not die. He wakes up in a hospital, covered in bandages. He receives a phone call, and he escapes from the hospital to meet with two mobsters. He had been lured under false pretenses but manages to kill the two gangsters.
Harvey meets Solomon Grundy in the sewers and enlists the latter's help to attack the people who've wronged him. They first attack the police convoy escorting Sal Maroni to prison. At this point, Batman and Gordon still think that Harvey is the Holiday Killer; Batman tells Harvey that he found the Holiday Killer's guns in the Dents' basement. This is new information to Harvey, too. Suddently, the Holiday Killer arrives on the scene and shoots Sal Maroni. Batman tries to give chase to the Holiday Killer, but Harvey prevents him from doing so. Harvey and Solomon Grundy escape, proceeding to free other Arkham Asylum inmates such as Joker, Scarecrow, the Mad Hatter, Poison Ivy, and the Penguin. Meanwhile, Batman asks Catwoman why she is obsessed with the Falcone family. She tells him that Falcone is her father, and she wants to find out her mother's name.
Harvey and his associates attack the Falcone family in their high-rise building. Batman and Catwoman arrive, managing to subdue most of the rogues. However, Harvey manages to shoot Falcone. Falcone's daughter Sofia runs into the room, picks up the pistol, and tries to shoot Harvey, but his gun had only two bullets. She falls out of a window. Catwoman catches Sofia, but Sofia lets go (probably due to the grief of losing so many family members) and falls to her death. When Catwoman unmasks herself, Falcone says the name, "Louisa.", which is probably Selina's birthmother's name. Later, Batman, Gordon, and Dent meet on the rooftop with the Batsignal. Dent confesses to all of the Holiday murders and surrenders to Gordon.
After Harvey is placed in Arkham Asylum, Batman visits Gilda. She tells him that she was the Holiday Killer. She was in a relationship with Alberto Falcone when they were students at Oxford. The Falcone family forced the two to get an annulment and forced Gilda to have an abortion, so she wanted revenge on the Falcone family. Gilda wonders if Batman will arrest her or tell Captain Gordon that she is the Holiday Killer. Batman only wants to know if she's done killing people and leaves without telling her his plans.
The movie ends with a scene at Wayne Manor. Bruce wonders why Alfred still bothers to leave candy for trick-or-treaters. Selina walks downstairs and teases Bruce. The doorbell rings. A family of three--two parents and a boy dressed as Batman--have come to partake in the holiday tradition.

The Tomorrow War is a 2021 American military science fiction action film directed by Chris McKay in his live-action directorial debut. It is produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, David S. Goyer, Jules Daly, and Adam Kolbrenner, and written by Zach Dean. The film stars Chris Pratt (who also executively produced), Yvonne Strahovski, J. K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, and follows a group of present-day soldiers who are sent into the future to fight an alien army.
Originally set for theatrical release by Paramount Pictures, the film's distribution rights were acquired by Amazon Studios due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, who digitally released it on July 2, 2021 via Amazon Prime Video. The film received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for the concept, action and performances but criticism aimed towards its derivative execution.
In December 2022, biology teacher and Iraq War veteran, Dan Forester, fails to get a job at a research center. While watching the World Cup at a Christmas party, soldiers from the year 2051 arrive to warn that humanity is on the brink of extinction due to alien invaders: the Whitespikes. In response, members of the world's militaries are sent into the future, but fewer than 20% survive, initiating a world wide draft.
After a year of the draft and a growing anti-war movement, there is little hope about humanity’s survival. Dan receives a notice that he has been drafted and reports with other draftees to basic training. Dan deduces with fellow draftee Charlie, that in order to prevent a paradox, those drafted have already died before the war starts.
The draftees are sent forward in time to Miami Beach but few survive, having been dropped in the incorrect location above the city. The draftees are ordered by Colonel Forester to rescue nearby lab personnel before the area is sterilized. The draftees discover the lab personnel dead but recover their research. Dan radios to command about the situation, and is instructed to escape the area. Many of the draftees are killed with only a handful able to reach safety.
The survivors wake up in a military encampment in the Dominican Republic. Dan is asked to report to Colonel Forester, who is actually his grown daughter Muri. She requests him to accompany her on a mission to capture a female Whitespike, which are rarer than the males typically encountered. They cage the female, only to have hundreds of males descend on their position. As the helicopter with the female lifts off, Dan and Muri escape to a beach and radio for rescue. Dan and Muri are transported to the Jumplink, located on a fortified oil rig in the middle of the ocean.
Dan and his daughter work on a toxin that can kill the captured female. They find a match for killing the aliens, just as they start to breach the base. Dan is able to jump back to the past with the toxin to mass produce it. Dan tries to give the toxin to the military so it can be sent back to the future, but learns that the Jumplink is offline, having been destroyed by the Whitespikes.
Brainstorming with his wife, he deduces that the Whitespikes did not arrive in 2048, but came much earlier. Further research leads him to theorize the Whitespikes are actually already on Earth, and that global warming caused their release when they thawed out and emerged from under the ice caps.
Dan leads a mission to Russia to prove his theory and finds an alien ship in an ice cap. The team debates telling the world about the problem, but decides to end the threat then and there. Once inside, they realize that the alien ship is not actually a Whitespikes ship, and that the Whitespikes were cargo for the deceased alien crew. They proceed with injecting the dormant Whitespikes with the toxin; this kills those injected but wakes all the remaining Whitespikes. The team successfully blows up the alien ship once they realize it is the only method of containment, but one female escapes. Dan and his father track down the female and are able to kill it in a frenetic battle to the death, preventing the future war from occurring.

Estella Miller is a creative child with a talent for fashion but has a cruel streak, leading her mother Catherine to nickname her "Cruella." Due to Estella's rebellious nature, Catherine pulls her daughter from school and plans to move to London. On the way there, she stops at a party hosted by the wealthy Baroness von Hellman to ask for financial assistance. Estella witnesses her mother being pushed off a cliff to her death by the Baroness' ferocious Dalmatians, for which she blames herself, since they were chasing her. Orphaned, Estella makes her way to London and befriends two street urchins named Jasper and Horace. To go unnoticed, she dyes her black-and-white hair red.
Ten years later, Estella is making ends meet alongside Jasper and Horace as thieves, while honing her fashion skills by designing their disguises. For her birthday, Jasper and Horace get her a job as a cleaner at the Liberty department store. A drunken Estella remakes one of the window displays and lands a coveted job with the Baroness, who is a renowned but authoritarian haute couture designer. Estella gains the Baroness' confidence but eventually notices her boss wearing a necklace that once belonged to Catherine. After the Baroness claims an employee had previously stolen it, Estella asks Jasper and Horace to retrieve the necklace.
Estella, under the guise of Cruella and wearing her natural hair color, crashes one of the Baroness' parties to steal the necklace. When the Baroness uses a whistle to command her Dalmatians, Estella realizes that she used the same whistle to direct her dogs to murder Catherine. Seeking revenge for her mother's death, Estella taunts the Baroness by appearing at her gatherings and upstaging her as Cruella in flamboyant outfits, designed with the help of a vintage clothing store owner named Artie. Her antics gain publicity through her childhood friend Anita, a gossip columnist. Cruella's haughty and arrogant behavior increasingly angers Jasper and Horace, as well as the Baroness, who fires her lawyer Roger for failing to stop Cruella. Estella also kidnaps the Baroness' Dalmatians after one of them accidentally swallows her mother's necklace.
Estella sabotages the Baroness' spring collection show and stages her own show in Regent's Park. Having deduced that Estella and Cruella are one and the same, the Baroness has Jasper and Horace arrested and ties up Estella, leaving her to die in a fire. Estella is rescued by the Baroness' valet John, who reveals the necklace is a key to a box containing Estella's birth records. She discovers that the Baroness is her biological mother, and ordered John to have the infant Estella killed so she could focus solely on her career. John instead gave the baby to Catherine, one of the Baroness' maids, who raised Estella in secret. Estella is angered by Catherine's deception but eventually makes peace with the truth in an effort to complete her vengeance, adopting the name Cruella for good.
Cruella breaks Jasper and Horace out of jail, recruiting them and Artie for her final scheme. They sneak into the Baroness' charity gala, where Cruella (dressed as Estella) reveals to the Baroness that she is her abandoned daughter. The Baroness pretends to accept Cruella and expresses remorse for her action and asks to hug her before pushing her over a cliff, unaware her guests had been led outside and witnessed the event. Cruella survives the fall using a parachute built into her clothing and discards her Estella disguise before returning to witness the Baroness being arrested. The Baroness swears revenge as she is taken into custody. Having adopted the last name de Vil (inspired by her stolen Panther De Ville), she acquires Hellman Hall (shortening it to Hell Hall), having secretly transferred the Baroness' fortune to herself by using Estella's name.
In a mid-credits scene, Cruella delivers two Dalmatian puppies (children of one of the Baroness' Dalmatians) named Pongo and Perdita to Roger and Anita, respectively. Now working as a songwriter, Roger begins composing the song "Cruella de Vil."

The Queen Zombie is introduced early in Army of the Dead when the group enters the Las Vegas square after they offer up Burt Cummings as a sacrifice. From her attire, the Queen is a former Vegas performer turned alpha zombie, and she eagerly accepts Cummings, dragging him to the zombie base of operations.
A new clip from Army of the Dead shows the team facing off against a zombie tiger. Zack Snyder's return to blockbuster filmmaking is hitting Netflix later this month and early reactions to Army of the Dead have praised the film for its bombastic hybrid zombie-heist action. Set to follow a group of ragtag mercenaries led by Dave Bautista's Scott Ward, the group will head into the Nevada desert to steal hundreds of millions of dollars from a Las Vegas casino vault. What they're not expecting is smarter, faster zombies that have now taken over the city and formed a society of their own.
In addition to the zombies, the group will face off against all kinds of creatures, including zombie horses, birds, and tigers. Snyder is looking to up the ante on the zombie genre in the same way he did with his 2004 Dawn of the Dead remake. This includes fleshing out an entire zombie universe at Netflix that will encompass Army of the Dead prequel Army of the Thieves and an anime-style animated prequel series. It's unclear if there are any sequel plans for Army of the Dead at this point, as it's likely that not all of the team will make it out alive because of the various threats they'll be facing.

#armyofthedeath #zacksnider #DaveBautistaLove, Death & Robots season 2, episode 1 Vacuubot vs Human. Stopped the killing machineRecall2021-05-15 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. For More Videos.
This scene of Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots season 2, episode 1, “Automated Customer Service”, contains spoilers.
Love, Death & Robots continues its homicidal “Pixar-sequel” ways in season 2, episode 1, Oh, they must be rich as hell, too. These senior citizens live in a high-tech, assisted-living community filled with the greatest purveyors of the United States’ finest automated vacuum cleaners: The Vacuubot.
Unfortunately, the protagonist in this story is an old lady trying to get a hold of a human being through the company’s automated line. While waiting, she accidentally activates Purge Mode. This is a function designed to rid all of the house’s pests, including some of the larger ones. Even house pets and humans could be targeted! All of this is communicated to our wicked little Betty White, who looks horrified.
The Vacuum turns into a murderous Wall-E in “Automated Customer Service”. It shoots lasers that kill her fish. This sends her running with her boodle in hand. The automated line, though, is still talking her through her issue and has the helpful suggestion of sacrificing her pet so she can get free. Admirably, she refuses. Instead, she quotes a line I’m guessing she heard from Henry Truman on the back of the train, ‘Fluff and fold, m**********r!” She tosses laundry over the HAL 9000’s next of kin and runs for the door.
Not so fast, the robot has locked every door and window down. As she struggles to pry the sliding glass doors free, the linen is folded, and Vacuubot is ready to kill. That’s until our Golden Girl hears a noise outside, turns, and spots who I can only assume is Richard Mulligan with a shotgun, locked and loaded. As they lock eyes, the psychotic bot shoots tasers through the window and into the poor man’s forehead. As he falls, he tosses the gun to Bea Arthur, who turns to do a split on the ground and makes Vacuubot’s day by shooting straight through his cold little robot heart. I only wish she stood up and said, “I call that a Mulligan.”
She grabs her poodle, drags along the neighbor in the golf cart that saved her, and the automated man on the message tells her that robot she just wasted sent a message to all robots to hunt her down and kill her.
When Love, Death + Robots season 1 hit Netflix back in 2019, it took me by surprise. I wasn’t expecting Black Mirror-level episodes that’d make me laugh, cry, and think in equal measure.
Coming in at 18 episodes, the first season had a lot to offer, from completely inane premises (“When the Yogurt Took Over”) to far-flung apocalyptic futures (“The Secret War”) to everything in between.
With stand-out episodes like “Sonnie’s Edge” and “Three Robots,” there was high hope for Love, Death + Robots season 2. Unfortunately, I have to say I’m disappointed.
‘Love, Death + Robots’ season 2 review (spoiler-free) First and foremost, the second season comes in at only eight episodes—less than half of the original. It’s difficult to compare the two seasons when the first is so varied in style and story. I would have hoped season 2 would be a more concentrated second outing for the series, but it appears to be the opposite.
Each episode of the first season did what any good short story should do—leave a lasting impression that makes you revisit the concept time and time again to see if you can glean anything new. I’ve watched “Sonnie’s Edge” a dozen or so times, and I never get bored.Love, Death & Robots season 2, episode 8 The Drowned GiantRecall2021-05-15 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. For More Videos.
This recap of Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots season 2, episode 8, “The Drowned Giant,” contains spoilers.
Finally, Tim Miller and David Fincher combined their talent for breathtaking animation and gift for storytelling with a beautifully rendered story about death, the passing of time, and hubris of it all as it comes full circle — welcome to Love, Death & Robots season 2, episode 8, “The Drowned Giant,” — the final chapter.
“The Drowned Giant” is exactly what it sounds like. The story begins with a rumor that something has washed up on the beach. And it’s big. A giant, what looks like an adolescent, is lying naked on his back and is dead. Presumably drowned (though, no one attempted CPR). He was youthful, frail (for a giant), and Billy Crystal, thank goodness, was nowhere in sight.
As more people began to gather, they inched closer. He had a pond-sized fist of water playing in his palm, noted a stoic observer. He walked away when a few jokesters began to climb the giant like he was their playground (no germophobes in this group).
The stoic man with glasses turns back, and what he sees is callous. Everyone is treating this giant boy as a circus attraction. Sliding down the chest, legs, and taking pictures with their heads in the deceased nostrils. It’s a distanced image; I’m sure if they saw a picture or video of themselves, they would question if they dissociated from that moment. Like that guardian photo of a couple of people relaxing by the waterfront and watching the twin towers fall. It’s an image you won’t soon forget.
The days pass. It takes a while to disable the body. The giant has started to decompose, no longer looking youthful but weathered. They want to start to cut by his tail and hip bones. So, only the torso remains. Pieces of the young man have gone all over town, including the femur above a butcher shop sign. Even the giant’s male appendage is now on display. Like in a glass jar you find in a coroner’s office, but much larger. Filled with water and 20% alcohol.
Most people mistook it for a whale p***s, showing that everyone has forgotten the giant—ashes to ashes, dust to dust, and the ridiculousness of it all. As I mentioned above, it also shows the hubris of what can be the fall of humankind.Monster 2018 Fight and Robbery Scene Mr. Evans, what happened on the 12th John David WashingtonRecall2021-05-09 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. This article discusses the ending of the Netflix film Monster (2021), so it will contain major spoilers. Netflix’s Monster was filmed almost five years ago and has been shelved since its Sundance premiere in January 2018. It changed with a couple of different studios and finally ended up at Netflix, delayed because of the pandemic. Originally titled after its source material, it was retitled All Rise and then back to Monster. It tells the story of Steve Harmon (Luce’s Kelvin Harrison Jr), by all accounts a young man who comes from a good home (parents played by Jeffrey Wright and Jennifer Hudson) and a star student. But he is accused of being a lookout for a robbery gone horribly wrong with three other people (played by John David Washington, Jrharrel Jerome, and A$AP Rocky) and is standing trial for murder. The film attempts to show the grey area of various levels of the law in a black and white world. So, did Steve have anything to do with the murder?
John David Washington (born July 28, 1984) is an American actor, producer, and former American football running back. He played college football at Morehouse College and signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2006. Professionally, Washington spent four years as the running back for the United Football League's Sacramento Mountain Lions.
Washington shifted to an acting career like his father, Denzel Washington, and mother, Pauletta. He was part of the main cast of the HBO comedy series Ballers (2015–2019). His breakthrough came playing Ron Stallworth in Spike Lee's 2018 crime film BlacKkKlansman, for which he received both Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. In 2020, he starred in Christopher Nolan's science fiction action-thriller film Tenet and Monster.
Either way, Steve could have walked away before entering the store. He could have lied to his so-called “friends” but he walked towards them, presumably to get his bike, and told them there was a guard inside. Steve, though, did not. He didn’t plan on the robbery. All he did was walk in to check if the coast was clear. We don’t even really know what he told them or whether he knew what their plans were. It’s all a grey area. When the verdict comes back, Steve is acquitted of all charges. While we said it’s all a grey area, we do not know exactly what role Steve played and if it was confirmed for King and Bobo and he told them the coast was clear. All we know is the color of his skin, just like the district attorney who said, “He looks the part to me.” Do not let your preconceived notions of what probably happened cloud your judgment of the facts. There is no evidence that Steve had any role in the robbery that led to the murder of that man. He is given a judgment of not guilty.
Monster tells the story of Steve Harmon (Kelvin Harrison, Jr.) a seventeen-year-old honor student whose world comes crashing down around him when he is charged with felony murder. The film follows his dramatic journey from a smart, likeable film student from Harlem attending an elite high school through a complex legal battle that could leave him spending the rest of his life in prison.

About Liu Kang: Liu Kang (劉康) is a character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. He is one of the few original characters, debuting in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game. He serves as the protagonist of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat II, Mortal Kombat 3, Mortal Kombat 4, Mortal Kombat (2011) (co-protagonist), Mortal Kombat 11, the live-action films and the original comic book series. He became the Grand Champion of Mortal Kombat throughout the first four tournaments, a title that remained undisputed in the original timeline.
About Liu Kabal: Kabal is a fictional character in the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise, created for Midway Games by Ed Boon and John Tobias. Kabal was introduced in Mortal Kombat 3 as a former member of Kano's Black Dragon criminal organization who had reformed as a force for good and became one of the chosen defenders of Earthrealm. Along the way, he notably suffered an attack by Outworld emperor Shao Kahn's extermination squads that left his face disfigured, so he concealed it behind a mask.
About Movie: Mortal Kombat is a 2021 American martial arts fantasy film based on the video game franchise of the same name and a reboot of the Mortal Kombat film series. The film stars Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada. It is directed by Simon McQuoid (in his feature directorial debut), from a screenplay by Greg Russo and Dave Callaham and a story by Russo and Oren Uziel.[4]
Following the critical and commercial failure of the 1997 film Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, a third Mortal Kombat film languished in development hell for a period of nearly two decades. In late 2010, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema (whose parent company acquired the franchise from Midway Games in 2009) began developing a new film, with Kevin Tancharoen serving as director from a script written by Uziel in the wake of their Mortal Kombat: Rebirth short film. James Wan was announced as a producer in August 2015 and McQuoid was hired as director in November 2016. Production took place at Adelaide Studios in Adelaide and at other locations in South Australia. Principal photography occurred from September to December 2019.
Mortal Kombat was released theatrically internationally on April 8, 2021, and was then released in the United States on April 23, simultaneously in theaters in 3D and on the HBO Max streaming service. The film received mixed reviews from critics and has grossed $66 million worldwide; it was also a streaming hit, becoming the most successful launch item in HBO Max's history.

Stowaway 2021 Zoe and David (Anna Kendrick) Dramatic scene from new netflix movie Stowaway 2021. That’s a dramatic question, but the film introduces another option in the form of a spectacular, heart-in-the-throat, vertigo-inducing sequence in which Zoe and David climb the tether that juts out of the ship, sticking up into space like a rope stretched to the heavens. They’re trying to see if there’s any liquid oxygen left over from the ship’s liftoff, and the sequence plucks your anxiety strings in a most delectable way. (It makes getting stuck at the top of a Ferris Wheel look like standing on a step ladder.) Even here, Penna takes his time and makes this space climb a relatable experience.
In the end, there’s something a little tidy about “Stowaway.” It reminds you that one of the marvelous aspects of “Gravity,” the great space movie of our era, was how open-ended it was. (George Clooney sailing off into the blackness was not exactly closure.) Yet Joe Penna knows how to make a movie that holds you without being pushy about it. His voice as a filmmaker comes through, even in a genre as studded with commercial tropes as this one. When he finds the right project, I predict that voice will be heard by moviegoers around the world. ‘Monday’ Opening: A Year of Love and Its Hangovers Monday ferst scene (Sebastian Stan) Opening scene From Movie: "Monday" (2021)
Fiery physical contact keeps an expat couple together in Greece, and the love scenes are enough for a half-dozen movies.
This movie’s first image is of a disco ball; the first song on its soundtrack is Donna Summer’s 1977 “I Feel Love.” But “Monday” isn’t a period piece.
The director Argyris Papadimitropoulos, who co-wrote the movie with Rob Hayes, understands that for some partyers from the Balearic Islands to the Mediterranean — this movie’s English-speaking soon-to-be-lovers are introduced to each other while getting their freak on in the director’s native Greece — staying young involves nostalgia for a sybaritic era you didn’t actually live through.
Mickey (Sebastian Stan), a D.J., and Chloe (Denise Gough), a lawyer, meet cute, and utterly smashed, on a Friday night, and wake up the next morning naked on a beach. They’re hauled off by cops to an embarrassed but not terribly traumatic reckoning with the law. These attractive characters are well past their 20s, which by some lights makes them a hair too old to be carrying on like this. Which is part of the film’s point, in fact.
The movie chronicles more than one weekend — it follows the relationship over almost a year, but each sequence kicks off on a Friday and ends on a Monday. Movie enthusiasts who bemoan that contemporary film is bereft of both romance and sex take note: The glue that keeps these two together is fiery physical contact, and the sex scenes are enough for a half-dozen movies.
Where their other affinities lie is something of a puzzle, but frequent intoxication can render such questions moot. The director’s semi-skewering of rom-com clichés, including the venerable race-to-the-airport bit, underscores their mutual unsuitability.
While “Monday” is not quite as bracing as Papadimitropoulos’s prior feature, “Suntan,” it’s a sharply observed, well-acted picture with a lot of tart detail and a few real stings in its tail.
For me, this tense conversation between Chloe and Mickey’s ex-partner Aspa (played by Elli Tringou, who was the bewitchingly unattainable woman in Suntan) is the one moment in the film that truly comes to life. It is the one speck of grit in the oyster, the one scene where something seems to be really at stake, where things can happen with irreversible results. And so it proves – in a way. Aspa icily confronts Chloe with the truth about how lazy and selfish Mickey actually is, but seems to have taken stock of how serious Chloe is.
Everything but the kitchen sink is thrown into this film: parties, clubs, arguments, embarrassments, love – and there’s even a full-on romcom rush to the airport. But I never got the impression of a genuine connection between the two stars. There was no chemistry. Gough works hard to make her role count, but she has not much to work with, and Stan is stuck with this exuberant, anarchic hipster role which reminded me weirdly of the cool Rat Pack guy with whom Alicia Silverstone has her terrible date in Clueless. The party feels like it’s over before it’s begun.Nobody 2021 Post-Credits Scene. Hutchs dad and brother are driving in a camper vanRecall2021-04-16 | 👉 Please LIKE, COMMENT And SUBSCRIBE. Nobody Ending & Post-Credits Scene Explained Nobody Ending fight scene, Hutch vs Russian Bob Odenkirk's Nobody ends on an explosive note. Here's everything that goes down in the movie's finale, along with its mid-credits scene. Who Calls Hutch In Nobody's Ending (& What It Means)
Nobody is an action-packed movie that keeps on going until the very end. Its wall-t0-wall action propels the movie toward an explosive ending which leaves the door open for an entire franchise. Here's a breakdown of everything that happens in Nobody's ending.
The movie follows retired assassin turned family man Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) after he fails to defend his family from two intruders who break into his home in the middle of the night. The incident reignites the urge to fight in Hutch, which leads to him angering a dangerous Russian mobster named Yulian Kuznetsov. Hutch has return to his old ways in order to keep his family safe.
In Nobody's ending, Hutch's brother Harry (RZA) and father David (Christopher Lloyd), also retired assassins, come to Hutch's aid. Kuznetsov's men track down Hutch and bring the fight to his place of work. The Mansells take down every member of the mob, and Hutch lets his dad and brother go free so he can take the fall. The movie's last scene picks up a few months later with Hutch and his wife Becca buying a new home and attempting a fresh start. Hutch receives mysterious phone call, which implies that he is officially back in the business.
In Nobody's final moment, a relator shows Hutch and Becca around a new home. At first, it seems to be a moment showing that Hutch has given up his old ways and is firmly committed to his family. But suddenly, their realtor receives two calls back-to-back. Becca encourages her to answer the phone, and it turns out the call is for Hutch. The audience isn't privy to the conversation, but the couple subsequently asks if the house has a basement. Earlier in the movie, Hutch sent his family to their secured basement after he realized they were in danger. His response to the mysterious phone call insinuates that he is a working assassin once again.
But it seems as if things are different this time. Hutch previously got out of the game because he found himself jealous of an old mark who settled down and had a family. Hutch found all of that, but he's clearly unhappy with the white picket fence lifestyle. Nobody opens with a quick montage of three weeks in Hutch's life. Every day of each week is the exact same. Hutch and Becca have also lost the spark in their marriage — simply put, he is bored. That boredom is what stopped him from protecting his family on the night of the robbery.
Nobody may be filled with action, but it acts as a prequel. The movie solely exists with the hopes of spurring its own franchise. While many original movies hope they are successful enough to warrant a sequel, Nobody lays down the groundwork to establish a story that can last for multiple movies, similar to the John Wick franchise. Nobody easily sets up a strong internal conflict within Odenkirk's Hutch. He clearly loves his family, but he isn't satisfied by the suburban dad lifestyle. He's also good at what he does, but his next job could very easily put his family's lives in jeopardy. The ending shows that he has found a solid temporary solution by ensuring wherever he lives has a secure basement — but that won't last forever. Future Nobody movies will likely tackle this head on, prompting Hutch to choose between his work and his family once and for all.
The movie also sparks a dangerous external conflict for Hutch in a potential Nobody 2. The movie shows that Kuznetsov was both a powerful and well-connected man in the world of underground crime. While the Mansells took out all the Russians in Nobody's finale, Kuznetsov likely has some equally powerful friends. They'll likely be furious to find out that Kuznetsov had been killed, meaning they'll likely come after Hutch for revenge. This opens the door for an endless string of villains to come after Hutch, which means the series has the opportunity to span for multiple movies.
Nobody's post-credits scene sees Harry and David on a very specific mission. The scene picks up with the father and son duo after they escaped the showdown with the Russian characters in Nobody. They're driving in an RV and seem to have a very specific destination in mind. The camera pans to the back of the RV and sees that it is stocked to the brim with various weapons. Harry was previously thought to be dead and as David lived in a retirement home, he was thought to be long-retired. But it's clear that these two are back in action.Godzilla vs Kong 2021 Kong awakens after being airlifted to an Antarctic baseRecall2021-04-06 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. For More Videos.
Transporting Kong to Antarctica Godzilla vs. Kong 2021 Kong awakens after being airlifted to an Antarctic base Godzilla vs. Kong 2021 Godzilla vs Kong 2021 Antarctic scene
Watch Kong cough up seawater after Godzilla almost drowns him, or collapse and doze off after vanquishing an enemy, or tear a winged beast's head from his neck and guzzle blood from the stump like a brigand downing a pint of mead. When Kong awakens after being airlifted to an Antarctic base to start his journey into the Hollow Earth, he has Martin Sheen's still-in-Saigon hangover-face from "Apocalypse Now." When Kong speaks sign language to Jia, looking away and then back at her, you see wheels turning in his mind: I hate what this kid just told me, and it's hard to get my mind around, but I accept it, because I have no choice.
Anyways, Apex CEO Walter Simmons (Demián Bichir), a modern, suave incarnation of a spindly-mustached, moneybags cartoon villain, hires Nathan Lind (Alexander Skarsgård), a local professor and published expert, to lead an expedition into Hollow Earth via an opening in Antarctica. Simmons is secretly building Mechagodzilla, an animatronic Godzilla replica that uses a head from the three-headed, extraterrestrial adversary King Ghidorah that Godzilla defeated in the last film to grant telepathic control over the mechanical behemoth to anyone wearing the user helmet.
The trip into Hollow Earth should have been the main event. It is a lush, intricate world with metaphysical impossibilities that remained untapped in its potential for fun. At the very least, the film should have gotten us there faster than it does. Instead, there is too much time dedicated to transporting Kong to Antarctica and an ensuing battle with Godzilla out at sea which ends, quite comically if you're prepared to laugh at the film's banality at this point, with the reptilian king all but killing the gorilla. He is tricked into leaving Kong injured, but alive, by the ingenious idea set forth by one of the scientists: if you kill the engines on the ships and "play dead", Godzilla will be fooled into calling the battle prematurely.Kong’s flight, gravity-defying Godzilla vs Kong 2021Recall2021-04-06 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. Godzilla vs Kong 2021 Kong’s flight, gravity-defying Flight scene from Godzilla vs Kong 2021
The movie’s wide and incongruous range of sources include zippy little jetpods plying the skies, as if from the “Star Wars” franchise; robotics from the Marvel Cinematic Universe; the massive, barren, neo-primitive landscapes of the DC Comics nature cult; and extra dashes of “2001,” in Kong’s use of an axe in battle, and in a feeble imitation of the agonized abstractions of the Star Gate sequence as part of a similarly gravity-defying flight. The Disneyfied get-up-and-go teen-heroic spunk that Madison and Josh display—as they join forces with Bernie and find their way to the final showdown—is a deferential sop to the superhero world’s fan base of nerdhood, adolescent and adult, saving the world. For good measure, the film adds the secular sacrament—and sentiment—of a child who shall lead them, in the form of Jia, the only character who can communicate with Kong. In “Godzilla vs. Kong,” and in the larger MonsterVerse to which it belongs, the problem is the competition, whether from Marvel, DC, or the “Star Wars” franchises, all of which involve extravagant science-fiction fantasy. The film takes the easy way out, focussing on a supersonic gravity-inverting mini-jet rather than any glimmer of true emotion, and the apocalyptic destruction of a major city rather than the experience of its citizens—let alone any governmental response. (Notably, governments are absent from the movie, whether in the United States or in Hong Kong—absences that are themselves ideological declarations.)Godzilla vs. Kong 2021 Ending scene. Godzilla vs Kong end Chaos Walking 2021 Ending scene No, Godzilla Vs. Kong Doesn't Have an End Credits Scene, and This Is Why
While Godzilla vs. Kong will undoubtedly settle who is the true king of monsters, fans expecting the Hollywood blockbuster tradition of a post-credits scene setting up a sequel will be left waiting... sort of. According to an interview at Syfy Wire, director Adam Wingard has said that footage previously planned for a post-credits scene has instead been used elsewhere in the film.
“We actually shot a post-credits scene but then we ended up using it in the movie," Wingard told Syfy Wire. "[It was] one of those things where we shot it as one idea, and we got into editorial and realized 'we need a moment at a certain point in the movie,' [so] we ended up taking that footage and using it in a different context in the movie and it really, really worked for us."
As for Godzilla vs. Kong, check out our ending explained for more on that front.
Does ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ Have a Post-Credits Scene? “Godzilla vs Kong” is the culmination of the four-film Monsterverse from Warner Bros that began with “Godzilla” back in 2014 and continued with “Kong: Skull Island” and “Godzilla: King of the Monsters.” This is, without a doubt, a series with more potential going forward — it’s not as though the Titans go away at the end of the movie. They could keep going with these things for a while.
Whatever ends up happening with the Monsterverse after “Godzilla vs Kong,” it’ll always be nice that we got these delightfully insane movies. They’re more than we deserve.
Unlike the rest of the MonsterVerse movies, Godzilla vs. Kong didn't have a post-credits scene to set up another movie. Instead, it just has a little Godzilla roar at the very end of the credits.Chaos Walking 2021 Final battle. Tom Holland fight sceneRecall2021-04-02 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. For More Videos.

Chaos Walking closed out many plotlines in its final act. We break down the ending of the film and explain the real meaning behind the film and more.
The ending of Chaos Walking wrapped up some plotlines, but left a few open-ended with many questions still unanswered. Directed by Doug Liman from a screenplay by Patrick Ness and Christopher Ford, Chaos Walking was in development for a long time. Originally announced in 2011, the film adaptation, which is based on the first book in the Chaos Walking trilogy by Ness, was revised and didn’t begin filming until 2017. Reshoots and the filming schedules of stars Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley delayed the movie even further. Now that it’s finally been released in theaters, the film’s finale can be further explored.
Todd and Viola spend most of their time together on the run from the mayor and the townspeople under his control. Prentiss is hellbent on killing Viola, convinced that all women must die and that it’s in the nature of men to deliver the final blow. The film’s ending leaves one hopeful that things will be better for Viola and Todd moving forward and it leaves the door open for a potential sequel. Here’s the ending of Chaos Walking explained.
The Real Meaning Of Chaos Walking’s Ending. Chaos Walking presents themes about toxic masculinity, the measure of a man through his use of violence, power and hierarchical control, and gender politics. Aaron, the preacher of Prentisstown, sneers at Todd for his thoughts and his inability to control them, calling him “weak like a woman.” This alone establishes the townspeople believing men are inherently superior to women and that women are not as strong as men. While obviously untrue, this line of thinking drives the actions of Aaron, Prentiss, and the rest of the men in town, who are quick to reach for their guns and other weapons in the hunt for Viola.
There’s an underlying idea that men must rise to the occasion of violence and lean into what they believe to be in their nature. This is how they assert themselves constantly throughout the film, willingly accepting something they could, in fact, control if they wanted. Viola’s arrival and the discovery of other towns that include both men and women living amongst each other proves how warped the thinking of Prentisstown’s men actually is. The fact that Farbranch is governed by a woman dispels the very ideas they work to uphold without thought. Plus, without Viola, Todd would have never bothered to learn the truth and her presence helps him discover that the things he was taught growing up are wrong. Prentiss wields his abilities with the Noise and encourages the use of violence so long as he’s leading the charge, keeping him in power. Chaos Walking’s use of toxic masculinity and ideas regarding violence being innate are seen as the root of the town’s problems and critiques them as such, offering commentary on the ways in which it can harm and destroy.
In the not-too-distant future, Todd Hewitt discovers a mysterious woman who crash-landed on his planet. It's a dystopian world where all the females have disappeared, and all the men are afflicted by a force that puts their thoughts on display. Vowing to protect her, the duo must navigate dangerous terrain as Todd discovers his inner power and unlocks the planet's dark secrets.

Zack Snyders 2021 Superman vs Justice League Justice League 2021 "Do you bleed" Justice League vs Superman "Do you bleed" Cut scene
The Snyder Cut: What's New, What's Gone (and More About That Ending) “Zack Snyder's Justice League,” out now on HBO Max, bears very little resemblance to the version of “Justice League” released by Warner Bros. in 2017.
Zack Snyder's Justice League, often referred to as the "Snyder Cut", is the 2021 director's cut of the 2017 American superhero film Justice League. It presents Justice League—the fifth film of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name—as director Zack Snyder had intended it before he left the production. Like the theatrical release, Zack Snyder's Justice League follows the Justice League—Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and the Flash (Ezra Miller)—as they attempt to save the world from the catastrophic threat of Darkseid (Ray Porter), Steppenwolf (Ciarán Hinds), and their army of Parademons.
Before we consider the possible ripple effects from both the successful and (so far) unsuccessful Snyder-related movements, let's make like Barry Allen and briefly rewind time. The Snyder Cut came out of a confluence of tragedy and dysfunction that set up the original Justice League for failure.
The vision behind 2017's Justice League–which does have its lively moments and does benefit in some ways from better pacing (but is ultimately hurt more by its shortened running time)–is a vision only of bottom lines and quarterly profits. So, yes, ZSJL is the better movie. For one thing, it's clearly a personal work.Сyborg father dies and Steppenwolf removed the box Zack Snyders Justice League 2021Recall2021-03-25 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. For More Videos.

Justice League filmmaker Zack Snyder shares an image from a deleted scene in the film featuring the intended death of Cyborg's dad, Silas Stone.
Zack Snyder shares an image from a deleted Justice League scene depicting the death of Silas Stone, Cyborg's (Ray Fisher) father. Played by Joe Morton, the character had a brief appearance in 2016's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice as he worked on Victor using the Mother Box.
Unfortunately, he runs out of time quickly as Steppenwolf arrives on the scene moments later. The villain can sense the box nearby, so he leaps inside the facility looking for it. What he discovers, though, is Сyborg father stepping inside of a protective box, preparing to shoot the Mother Box with a powerful laser. Before Steppenwolf can intervene, the laser hits the object, killing Сyborg father just as Victor makes his way into the facility. But while Steppenwolf assumed Сyborg father was trying to destroy the Mother Box, it turns out the laser had no effect on it, which allows the villain to escape with the final piece he needs.
Victor breaks down after witnessing his father's death, but he quickly realizes it wasn't in vain. Сyborg father's laser actually left a traceable heat signature on the box that allows the League to track it to the Russian village, giving them an element of surprise they wouldn't have had previously. Сyborg father's death unites the team in a way the theatrical cut never did, giving them, especially Victor, a sense of purpose as they head off to save the world.Zack Snyders Justice League 2021 Flash saves Iris from a car crashRecall2021-03-24 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. Zack Snyders 2021 Flash saves Iris from a car crash Justice League 2021 Flash saves the girl Zack Snyders Justice League Flash scene
Zack Snyder's Justice League: Why That CREEPY Flash Scene Deserved to Be Cut. Zack Snyder's Justice League proves that one scene focused on Ezra Miller's Flash should have remained on the cutting room floor.
One of the biggest edits the theatrical cut of Justice League made was omitting Kiersey Clemons' Iris West. Fans were excited to see her cameo as it was undoubtedly a setup for Ezra Miller's Flash movie, but it was deemed expendable in the two-hour run-time.
However, after being inserted into Zack Snyder's Justice League, a creepy scene with Iris plays out, making it clear that axing it was the right choice.
Adding some depth to Barry Allen isn't the problem. Snyder spends most of his movie making Flash more likable, but in this scene, he comes off as toxic, and it really doesn't paint the speedster in the most altruistic light. The moment focuses on him applying for a job at a doggy day-care, locking eyes with Iris as she leaves. It's melodramatic and romantic, similar to what's been done on The CW, but it begins to go wrong when she drives off. The scene's set in slow motion, with her not taking her eyes off Barry, which is strange because her car's in motion. At the lights, she's t-boned by a truck, whose driver was trying to find his burger that fell on the floor in what's a really ridiculous set of unfortunate events.
As Iris' car flips and she's tossed out, Barry speeds through the glass, but rather than grab her mid-air immediately, he grabs a hot dog from a cart that was thrown in the air and uses the Speed Force for some stalking. He fawns over Iris for a long moment, even brushing her hair out her face. This goes on for way too long, and in the end, is a total invasion of privacy. Snyder tries to lighten the mood by setting it to Rose Betts' piano cover of "Song to the Siren," but even that can't mask the toxicity.
Barry eventually sets her down before running away as her vehicle explodes, but while the intention is to show him saving a damsel in distress, it really depicts him as a creep. Of course, Snyder did cut the horrific shot of Barry falling into Wonder Woman's chest when they suit up later on, but it doesn't help that Barry goes on to ogle Diana and ask Cyborg if he thinks she dates younger guys.
When taking all of this into consideration, Barry comes out looking like someone who doesn't respect boundaries. Had the car scene remained cut, one might have given Barry the benefit of the doubt as an overzealous Wonder Woman fanboy with a crush. But ultimately, rather than giving off the impression of a genuine, caring hero, the car sequence makes Barry out to be someone that needs to learn a thing or two about respect.
Streaming now on HBO Max, Zack Snyder's Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ray Porter as Darkseid, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Justice League Darkseid: "I Have Turned One Hundred Thousand Worlds To Dust..." Darkseid Speaking With Steppenwolf Justice League 2021 (talking scene) Zack Snyder's Justice League Darkseid
Darkseid and Steppenwolf scene from Zack Snyders Justice League. "I have turned one hundred thousand worlds to dust looking for Anti-Life. Looking for those who robbed me of my glory. I will stride across their bones and bask in the glow of Anti-Life and all of existence shall be mine." Ray Porter's modulated voice perfectly sells the character: a terrifying being that can put fear into the hearts of gods and men alike.
In the DC comics, Steppenwolf, created by Jack Kirby, was one of the New Gods that lived on hellish Apokolips. His brother was the planet's first ruler, Yuga Khan, whose son was a New God named Uxas. Lusting for dominion over Apokolips, Uxas battled his father and killed him, but not before Steppenwolf, and many of the New Gods, presumably battled Uxas. Uxas won, claimed Apokolips, and took the name Darkseid. While in Snyder's Justice League, Desaad mentions that Steppenwolf is Darkseid's nephew, not uncle, there are parallels between the betrayal from the comics and in the film. In the DCEU, Steppenwolf challenged Darkseid's right to rule, and that betrayal resulted in his banishment.
Although Steppenwolf claims that he, "saw his mistake," and, "slaughtered those who sought his throne," meaning Darkseid's seat of power, it's clear that Steppenwolf had once defied Darkseid by choosing to serve himself. This backstory is similar to Steppenwolf's in the New Gods comics, as Steppenwolf would have probably fought with Yuga Khan against Uxas before the latter became Darkseid. Although Steppenwolf was a mighty addition to Darkseid's forces, there is clearly no easy way out with the Lord of Apokolips, even for a warrior so formidable as Steppenwolf, which explains his banishment.
The betrayal of a heartless warlord like Darkseid is a costly transgression. Desaad reminds Steppenwolf that he, "might have sat here, by the side of the great one" if it weren't for Steppenwolf's "self-pride". It is possible that Steppenwolf once thought, just as how in the New Gods Uxas overthrew Yuga Khan, he could take Apokolips from Darkseid. It is evident that Steppenwolf failed to show fealty, and that lack of loyalty resulted in a banishment from his homeworld that lasted millennia.
During the scene in Justice League that follows Steppenwolf's first meeting with Desaad, Wonder Woman explains the history of earth's Mother Boxes to Batman. Snyder implements a flashback here, offering a first DCEU look of Darkseid in action. An epic battle takes place, showing Darkseid and his Parademons warring against humans, Atlanteans, Amazons, Green Lanterns, and several gods from classical Greek mythology. Blatantly missing from Darkseid's failed invasion of earth is Steppenwolf and his electro-ax. This might be another hint at Steppenwolf's betrayal; that his pride, and ultimate undoing, was the fact that he served himself, not Darkseid, during the latter's first campaigns, even before Darkseid assumed rulership of Apokolips. That could be why Steppenwolf is not present during Darkseid's defeat on earth. For certain, Steppenwolf did not serve Darkseid properly, and in Zack Snyder's Justice League, he's still paying for that betrayal.

Superman and Lois 1x04 football team scene Promo/Power Superman and Lois Season 1 Episode 4 Jordan uses his powers Scene Superman and Lois 1x04 Promo "Jordan taking on the football" (HD)
Jordan taking on the football team to silence his bullies allowed him to blow off some steam, but this is a disaster waiting to happen.
Jordan is a fraction of the other boys' size, and the way he managed to tackle them was extraordinary. That will undoubtedly raise some questions and put the Kents on a collision course with the rising number of supernatural forces in Smallville.
The kids being mad about Clark spying on them was predictable but had Clark not arrived at the school in time, there would have been several witnesses to Jordan's powers.
What I appreciated the most about the football storyline is that Jonathan supported Jordan in the end.
Even though Jonathan struggles to find his place in the world after learning about his father and brother's superhuman strength, he's allowing his brother to take on the sport he's known and loved for much longer.
It really drives home the strong bond between the brothers, but I still think using the football as a source to let Jordan get out his rage is a bad idea. Time will tell whether I'm right.

Cherry is a 2021 American Iraq War crime drama film directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Angela Russo-Otstot and Jessica Goldberg, based on the novel of the same name by Nico Walker. The film stars Tom Holland, Ciara Bravo, Jack Reynor, Michael Rispoli and Jeff Wahlberg, and follows an Army veteran who resorts to robbing banks to support his opioid addiction. The original novel by Nico Walker, based on his own accounts of coming home as a military veteran from Afghanistan and robbing banks to support his drug addiction, ended with that last big shot of heroin.
Cherry was released in theaters on February 26, 2021, and was released digitally on Apple TV+ on March 12, 2021. The film received mixed reviews, with critics praising the performances of Holland and Bravo, but criticizing the screenplay and direction.
Cact: Tom Holland as Cherry, a fictional character based on former army soldier and former drug addict-turned-author Nico Walker.
Cherry features Holland as an Iraq war veteran suffering from PTSD and drug addiction. He enlists in the Army after the flames of his first love fizzle out and returns a hardened man. In order to pay for opiates, he starts robbing banks. This triggers him to fall deeper into depression alongside his college girlfriend, who drops into his addiction just as hard, if not harder.
After teaming up for multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe installments, directors Joe and Anthony Russo reunite with star Tom Holland on Cherry, a project wildly different from their previous superhero epics. Based on the novel of the same name by Nico Walker, Cherry finds Holland shedding his boyish Peter Parker persona to play a war veteran suffering from undiagnosed PTSD and a crippling drug addiction.
In Cherry, Holland stars as the titular character, who is a directionless youth who joins the U.S. Army in search of a sense of purpose. Cherry serves overseas in the Iraq War as a medic, where he becomes emotionally scarred by the atrocities he witnesses in combat. Upon returning home, he struggles to adjust back to civilian life, sending him and his wife Emily (Ciara Bravo) down a dark path of drug addiction and financial ruin.
Additionally, Tom Holland's brother Harry makes a cameo appearance in the film as a drug dealer identified as the "Shaky Kid". As revealed by Holland on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he and his brother came up with the idea of having the latter appear in every film he makes onwards as the "Shaky Kid". Harry will reprise the role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Anthony and Joe Russo's production company AGBO purchased the production rights to the novel in August 2018, beating out offers from Warner Bros., which would've had James Franco directing, and Sony, with the Russos set to direct the film. In March 2019, Tom Holland entered talks to star in the film. Ciara Bravo, Jack Reynor, Jeff Wahlberg, Kyle Harvey, Forrest Goodluck and Michael Gandolfini were added to the cast in October. Pooch Hall would be cast in an undisclosed role in December.
Filming was initially reported to begin on July 15, 2019. The filmmakers had plans to shoot the film in Ohio, the setting of the novel and homestate of the Russo brothers, but due to the Greater Cleveland Film Commission's proposed changes in tax incentives were forced to move the planned shooting to California. However, the proposed figures were lowered from $100 million to $40 million, and production returned to the state. Because of this, filming did not begin until on October 8, 2019, in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and concluded in February 2020. According to the Russo brothers, editing for Cherry took place as it was filmed to allow them to see what they were missing, and if they needed to "rewrite or reshoot" parts of the film.
The film score for Cherry was composed by Henry Jackman, and was released by Lakeshore Records on February 26, 2021, via Apple Music.

Specifically, I think Captain Luthor is a refugee from another planet that was destroyed when the multiverse collapsed in last year's five-hour crossover. Following the birth of Earth-Prime, which is where all of the Arrowverse shows take place now, several people from dead worlds wound up on this new planet, including a non-evil version of Kate Kane's sister Beth on Batwoman and several versions of Brainiac-5 on Supergirl. And so I think Captain Luthor is in the same boat, too. In fact, he hints as much during his fight with Superman in the premiere: "I know everything there is to know about the Last Son of Krypton. Where I come from, let's just say the two of us have history," says the Captain. "My world was destroyed, but somehow I managed to survive. I eventually arrived here and I learned you were here, too." If I'm correct, then this Captain Luthor reveal is probably the most overt reference to the larger shared universe in the premiere, which isn't nearly as Easter egg heavy as other Arrowverse pilots.
In Clark's voiceover, he worries that he might lose himself to the stress of it all before saying, "Under the torn fibres is a strong person forged like steel with the courage to fight for those we love." At her and Vision’s home, Wanda finally breaks, falling to her knees and crying…and that’s when it happens. A cascade of red energy bursts from her, transforming the town and recreating Vision. We’re back in the 1950s-esque setting, the colour has drained and the last missing piece has been revealed. This is how it all started.
And really…it’s not that big a surprise? I had kind of assumed “Wanda was sad and had a little breakdown, and changed everything” was the given, and that the show might add a little more of a twist on top of that. But I suppose we do still have Agatha.
Wanda’s energy, and finally got something working – apale Vision
In case it wasn’t clear before, Hayward lied about Wanda stealing Vision’s body. Clearly he’s been lying all along, just looking for some way to get his pet project up and running (whether that means stealing Wanda’s second Vision or just getting her to make his work) and now he’s found it.
Now it seems like we’re set for a Vision-vs-Vision, witch-vs-witch smackdown in next week’s finale, and I honestly can’t wait to see what level of action Marvel is capable of on the small screen. If nothing else, we’ve come a long way from breakfast for dinner.
And after a slightly tense stand-off, Wanda kind of agrees! At least, he’s not her Vision any more. Leaving the corpse of her lover behind, Wanda instead drives over to Westview, New Jersey, spotting the “real” versions of several of her sitcom pals before heading to the house she and Vision were (apparently?) going to live in together. Clearly, New Jersey suffered quite a lot from the “blip”, even if it just came to lawn maintenance.

Olsen said the series brings the character more in line with the comic book version, including depicting her mental illness, and introducing the "Scarlet Witch" moniker that was not previously used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Executive producer Kevin Feige added that the series explores the extent and origin of Wanda's powers. Olsen felt her "ownership" of Wanda was strengthened during development of the series, which allowed her to explore new parts of the character's personality such as her humor and sassiness :30 She was thrilled that WandaVision focuses on Wanda rather than telling her story "through everyone else's story lines" as in the films, and was sold on joining the series when Feige mentioned specific Scarlet Witch comic storylines that inspired WandaVision. ►Powers ✔ Chaos Magic: Wanda's main power is the superhuman ability to manipulate the powerful magic known as Chaos magic which allows her to alter reality and control various forms of mystical energy. Wanda received the “blessing” of the old God of chaos, Chthon, who came to her, the day she was born, which would allow her to use his chaos magic as her own and this would increase Wanda’s natural ability to magic. It was later revealed that Chthon has never wanted to “bless” Wanda with his magic, but to use her as a “vessel” that he could one day possess, when she was a full-grown adult and reached her Full Potential, though his schemes to do so were foiled by the Avengers. ✔ Magic: Wanda also possesses the ability to manipulate magic. Wanda has inherited her witchcraft powers from her true mother, who is the original Scarlet Witch, who hails from a long line of sorcerers, meaning that Wanda was born a human with the affinity to control magic, allowing her to use the witchcraft she was born with and that her powers were never gave to her by the High Evolutionary as it was believed rather, he had altered her so Wanda is more receptive to magical energy. ✔ Astral Projection: Wanda possess the ability to project her spirit or astral body out of her physical body in order to travel into the spirit world or the astral plane. She still can cast hexes in her astral form.WandaVision Visions have been taking to pieces scene (S01E08)Recall2021-02-26 | 👉 Please LIKE And SUBSCRIBE. For More Videos. Instead, Director Hayward and his team have been taking Vision to pieces, trying to see what makes him tick, in a faintly demeaning and unsettling visual of Paul Bettany chopped up onto various tables.
“We’re dismantling the most significant sentient weapon ever made,” Hayward says, in a sentence that makes you think SWORD are still really trying to justify that acronym. Crucially, he’s curious to see whether Wanda could bring Vision back to life…but if she isn’t going to try, he can’t let her have him.
“He’s all I have,” Wanda says.
“Well that’s just it Wanda. He isn’t yours,” Hayward replies.

Final battle sceneRecall2021-02-22 | Wonder Woman 1984 Cheetah vs Diana. Final battle scene from Wonder Woman 1984. Diana vs Cheetah fighting in what looks to be the White House. In the scene, Diana can be seen using her Lasso of Truth, though Cheetah seems to be deflecting it. The White House has been shown in stills and teaser footage for Wonder Woman 1984 before, suggesting it will be a key part of the film. Take a look at the Diana vs. Cheetah fight, Final battle scene.
Wonder Woman 1984: Eagle (Diana) vs. Cheetah meet in the final of the film. So Diana chooses to give up Steve to regain her powers so she can then thwart the bad guy and save the world and will fight in the final with Cheetah. First she needs to fight Barbara Minerva, aka the Cheetah. Like with Ares, Cheetah is there to provide Diana a physical opponent she needs to overcome. Unlike the Ares battle, the problem with the fight isn’t that it’s antithetical, but that it’s superfluous. The fight plays more like an obligation of the genre.
Diana isn’t challenged by this fight in any way. Not physically, because with Wonder Woman's powers and Asteria’s golden armor Cheetah is clearly outmatched. Not emotionally, because the film all but abandons any interest in the burgeoning dynamic between Diana and Barbara by the time Steve is revived, leaving their relationship too muddied and undefined to be the basis of conflict between them.
Because she’s already proven her moral integrity before the fight begins. It’s not like Diana tries to cheat the wishing curse by using the golden armor without her powers, or tries and fails to defeat the villains in a vain attempt to keep Steve.
Force behind this franchise appear to be in presenting Diana’s compassion, empathy and sense of duty to protect others rather than her ability to crush bad guys. Compared to blasting Ares to smithereens or electrocuting Cheetah into submission.
Diana fighting supervillains in bombastic action scenes isn’t in itself the problem. It would be rather strange to not have any action in what we know is an action movie. Final battles have felt incongruous with what the rest of the movies are going for, Cheetah's fighting scene form will look like. DC has been careful not to release any giving away her final transformation.
Even though a White House fight in Wonder Woman 1984 has been teased before, it's still interesting to see a scene of Diana and Cheetah fighting. They look to be evenly matched, with Diana perhaps struggling more than Cheetah in this particular moment. The role of Cheetah is a departure for Wiig,
Wonder Woman 1984 (stylized on-screen and often abbreviated as WW84) is a 2020 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Wonder Woman. It is the sequel to 2017's Wonder Woman and the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
Cast Gal Gadot both starred in and produced the film. Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman: An immortal demigoddess, Amazon princess and warrior. Diana is the daughter of Hippolyta, the Amazonian queen of Themyscira, and Zeus, the king of the Olympian Gods.[6] Gadot spoke about the character's evolution, saying in the first film "[Diana] really is a fish out of water, coming from Themyscira into man's world and learning about the complexities of human life, really. In Wonder Woman 1984, she's been around. She's wiser and she's more mature. She's guarded and lost all of her friends throughout the years. But she's still doing the right thing, yet she is different from when we last saw her."[7] Gadot added, "In the first movie, we really explored the journey of the coming-of-age, of how Diana Prince became Wonder Woman, and owned her full strengths and powers."
Kristen Wiig as Barbara Minerva / Cheetah: A highly insecure geologist and gemologist who befriends Diana before becoming imbued with mystical abilities that gradually transform her into an apex predator-like superhuman. She allies herself with Lord to fight Diana.

Wonder Woman 1984: Eagle (Diana) vs. Cheetah In Wonder Woman 1984, the big moral question of the story is whether or not Diana is willing to give up Steve. force behind this franchise appear to be in presenting Diana’s compassion, empathy and sense of duty to protect others rather than her ability to crush bad guys. Compared to blasting Ares to smithereens or electrocuting Cheetah into submission, consider how much more impactful moments are like Diana choosing to not stand by as people suffer at No Man’s Land, sparing Doctor Poison after Steve’s death, or breaking through to Max Lord by convincing him to go back to his son.
Diana fighting supervillains in bombastic action scenes isn’t in itself the problem. It would be rather strange to not have any action in what we know is an action movie. But hopefully for the already-announced Wonder Woman 3, Patty Jenkins and whoever else ends up working on the film can find a way to more naturally weave that action into the finale, because so far these final battles have felt incongruous with what the rest of the movies are going for.

The Monster Hunter movie ending answered a bunch of questions – including who wins in a fight between a dragon and a helicopter – but left a bunch more dangling, either waiting to be answered by a sequel or for fans to connect the dots elsewhere.
Below, we answer any major lore questions that arose from the movie after watching it, as well as any other posers that will hopefully enrich the lore of the Paul W.S. Anderson-directed video game adaptation.
First, to ensure we’re all on the same page, here’s a Palico-sized recap of the Monster Hunter ending – including all major events and story beats.
The final half of the movie sees Artemis – now having escaped the clutches of Nerscylla monsters – and the Hunter heading towards the Sky Tower so she can head back through the portal to her own world. Of course, the road ahead isn’t without its bumps and bruises. The pair are saved by the Hunter’s crew (after he fell from their ship earlier in the movie) led by Ron Perlman’s Admiral.
They, too, are heading to the Sky Tower to take down the Rathalos guarding the power source.
Once there, the Rathalos attacks the squad, though the Admiral leads the fightback. During one climatic moment, Artemis is cornered and dives over the edge of the cliff as the Sky Tower and the portal powers up. She then leaps through the portal and back to the desert in ‘our’ world – the setting at the beginning of the movie.
There, she is rescued by a task force and is evacuated. Unfortunately for them, the Rathalos flies through the portal and burns everyone to a crisp – except Artemis.
Artemis then exploits the Rathalos’ one weakness – its gaping mouth before it breathes fire – and shoots an explosive round down its gullet. The Hunter then appears and helps Artemis slay the beast.
To end the movie, the Admiral warns that another attack is imminent. Artemis agrees to head back through the portal to kill the beast and shut down the Sky Tower. The team jump through the portal and the movie ends.
In the Monster Hunter post-credits scene, the trio are seen fighting a new monster, with the Palico chef even joining in on the fun in a particularly a-mew-sing moment. Finally, a hooded man is seen watching the battle.
Is the portal between the two worlds closed for good? It doesn’t appear to be. The Admiral made pointed reference earlier in the movie to the Sky Tower sitting on top of a lava-based power source that helps fire up the portal that allows travel between the two worlds.
The portal has also been around for a long time. Perlman’s character also explained to Artemis that ‘The Ancients’ had gone back and forth between the two worlds several hundred years ago.
However, if the Sky Tower gets destroyed then it’s a completely different story – and a dilemma for Artemis that could be explored in the sequel. For now, it’s intact – which means monsters can travel to the human world and vice-versa. Which means there’s plenty of opportunity for some creepy-crawly crossovers in future instalments.
In the ensuing battle, Artemis falls through a portal, returning to the real world. The portal doesn't close in time and the Rathalos emerges and begins wreaking havoc. Artemis is able to slow it down long enough for the Hunter to slip through the portal and deliver the fatal shot.
Though she has the chance to stay, Artemis decides to go back to the New World and remain with the Hunters. The Admiral approaches her with information concerning the appearance of another monster, a black wyvern called Gore Magala. He notes that as long as the portal remains open, there will always be the threat that monsters will pass through to the real world. Artemis and the Hunter are tasked with finding a way to seal the portal for good.

The Mandalorian is an American space Western television series created by Jon Favreau for the streaming service Disney+. It is the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise, beginning five years after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983). It stars Pedro Pascal as the title character, a lone bounty hunter who goes on the run after being hired to retrieve "The Child". Star Wars creator George Lucas began development on a live-action Star Wars television series by 2009, but the project was deemed too expensive to produce. After he sold Lucasfilm to Disney in October 2012, work on a new Star Wars series began for Disney+. Favreau signed on in March 2018, serving as writer and showrunner. He executive produces alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. The series' title was announced in October 2018 with the start of filming at Manhattan Beach Studios in California. Visual effects company Industrial Light & Magic developed the StageCraft technology for the series, using virtual sets and a 360-degree video wall to create the series' environments. This has since been adopted by other film and television productions. The Mandalorian premiered with the launch of Disney+ on November 12, 2019. The eight-episode first season was met with positive reviews, was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards, and won seven Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. A second season premiered on October 30, 2020, and a third season is in pre-production. Three spin-off series will expand on the series' timeline: The Book of Boba Fett, Rangers of the New Republic, and Ahsoka.

The first two episodes were the early and late '60s, and by the early '70s, colour TV was just about everywhere in the US and across the world. Because colour TV was so new and so different, sets on TV shows were made to look as vibrant and eye-catching as possible. In fact, the idea was that if people flicking through channels saw bright colours, they'd stop to investigate and then watch the show.
WHY IS WANDA SUDDENLY PREGNANT? Well, as you probably guessed, the world the show is set in is a fantasy - so Wanda suddenly becoming pregnant overnight, and then four months along, means that she can simply imagine herself in that way to keep up the fantasy. As you see by the end of the episode, Wanda gives birth to twins - Billy and Tommy - but then the fantasy cracks when "Geraldine", played by Teyonah Parris, asks her why didn't she name her children after her brother, Pietro.
Meanwhile, Wanda gets a visit from Geraldine. She wanted to borrow a bucket from Wanda to draw the water from her house. She begins to tell Wanda something. During the conversation, Wanda tries to hide a suddenly appearing stork from Geraldine in addition to her stomach. However, when she goes into the previously empty room to get something, she sees the newly furnished children's room.
As a result, Wanda's secret was revealed. She goes into labor and the child comes. Geraldine plays the midwife for Wanda to bring the child into the world. Wanda's powers set some objects in motion, Geraldine notices this, but ignores it to help Wanda. Wanda then gives birth to a baby boy. Shortly thereafter, Vision meets with Stan Nielson.
Cast and characters: Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch: An Avenger who can harness magic, engage in telepathy and telekinesis, and alter reality.[2][3] Olsen said the series brings the character more in line with the comic book version, including depicting her mental illness, and introducing the "Scarlet Witch" moniker that was not previously used in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Olsen was influenced by Mary Tyler Moore, Elizabeth Montgomery, and Lucille Ball for her performance. wandavision episode 3
Paul Bettany as Vision: An android and former Avenger created using the artificial intelligences J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron as well as the Mind Stone, who was killed during the events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Bettany described Vision as "decent and honorable" who "exists for Wanda". He was influenced by Dick Van Dyke and Hugh Laurie for his performance.

After saving Kat, the Protagonist is captured and taken to Sator's warehouse containing another Turnstile. In a confusing interrogation, an inverted Sator (who shoots Kat with an inverted round) and a normal one demand the location of the artifact, about which the Protagonist lies. Just then, a team of Tenet operatives led by Ives arrive in an ambush and comes to the Protagonist's aid while Sator escapes. Tenet 2020 WON AN OSCAR!!!
Why's the future working with Sator? In the future, everything is destroyed. An unknown agency is working with Sator to kill everyone in the past, because they're responsible. The people in the future believe that reversing the entropy of the Earth will prevent climate change. With no other choice for their survival, they're willing to destroy their ancestors and threaten their own existence -- the grandfather paradox.
Why Sator? Sator grew up in the Soviet Union in a small community acting as a "closed" or "secret" city with sensitive facilities, such as nuclear research sites with a plutonium production plant. Sator was in the right place at the right time as a teenager, when he dug up a piece of the Algorithm in the rubble of his home in Siberia. The scientist in the future who created the Algorithm has been hiding the pieces back in time, realizing no one should have the technology. The unknown agency charges Sator with recovering the pieces and dropping the finished Algorithm into the "dead drop" in his nuked home town, where they'll find it centuries from now. The agency buries time-reversed gold bars that Sator digs up for payment.
How did Kat survive after being shot? The bullet Sator shoots Kat with is inverted, which in this universe means it could affect her with radiation poisoning as well as regular bullet damage. So the Protagonist and Neil take her through the temporal turnstile so that she moves backward in time, same as the bullet, preventing the radiation. He and Neil then take her to the Oslo "freeport" art storage facility, where they enter another turnstile so that they can all move forward in time again.
Why is Kat under Sator's control? In a nutshell, Kat knowingly sold Sator a forged painting. To gain her trust, the Protagonist and Neil try to steal the painting from the "freeport" in Oslo Airport.
Who's the Protagonist? The Protagonist travels to London to save Kat from arms dealer Priya (Dimple Kapadia), who believes she must tie up loose ends. The Protagonist shoots Priya, realizing he will go back in time and found the secret organization Tenet.
Tenet is a 2020 action-thriller and science fiction film written and directed by Christopher Nolan, who produced it with Emma Thomas. A co-production between the United Kingdom and United States, it stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh. The plot follows a secret agent (Washington) as he manipulates the flow of time to prevent World War III.
Casting John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, and Elizabeth Debicki were cast in March 2019. Washington, Pattinson, and Debicki were each only permitted to read the screenplay while locked in a room. Nolan chose Washington for his performance in BlacKkKlansman (2018). Pattinson based his character's mannerisms on those of author Christopher Hitchens. While Kat was originally going to be an older woman, Debicki's appearance in Widows (2018) convinced the filmmakers otherwise.

Giant wave scene - Interstellar 2014Recall2021-01-17 | Cooper, Amelia, Doyle, and the robot CASE decide to risk themselves and intend to be in and out of there in just minutes to survey while Romilly remains on the Endurance to study the black hole and get quantum data from it. When they land, all they find is shallow water and wreckage of Miller's ship, who apparently died and had arrived just an hour or two earlier, even though she sent the thumbs up beacon on Earth 10 years before. The crew think there are mountains in the distance that turn out to be giant tsunami waves. Brand becomes trapped under the Miller wreckage and has to be rescued and carried back by CASE, Doyle is drowned, and the ship is flooded and won't be able to make it out for another hour, costing them years. Cooper is frustrated at Brand, but forgives her mistake. After the engines are mostly emptied of water, Cooper fires them up and just manages to escape the next tidal wave and fly off the surface.

Youve finally evolved into what you were always meant to beRecall2021-01-14 | The series began with 2010's Skyline, helmed by Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem directors Greg and Colin Strause.
That peace is threatened by the emergence of a deadly virus that could turn the planet’s large alien population against humans once more. Lindsey Morgen’s Rose Corley is recruited to lead a paramilitary team to the planet Cobalt-1, with just a 12-hour window to stop the virus before it’s too late.
That alone is a story seed that could launch a thousand novels: it’s fascinating that literally billions of former humans, now crammed into terrifying, monstrous alien bodies, have reintegrated into society, and no one seems to bat an eye at them stumping around.
Rose has just enough time to catch up with her local doctor friend Dr. Mal (Rhona Mitra) and learn that the Pilots are suffering from a mysterious disease that may reassert their alien programming, turning them back into indiscriminate human-killing machines. Then Rose is scooped up and hauled off by a vaguely sketched military organization that wants her help in their next big push against the aliens.
As General Radford (Deep Space Nine’s Alexander Siddig) explains, the inevitable McGuffin he’s after is the core drive of the alien mothership, which warped elsewhere when Rose destroyed the ship. His staff hacker Zhi (Cha-Lee Yoon) has broken into the alien warp network, and can instantly transmit a ship to the source planet. So Radford wants to send a crack team of commandos there, to what’s presumably the aliens’ home base. He hopes both to retrieve the core drive — which will supposedly help power Earth’s three billion pilots and prevent them from going critically insane — and to hit the aliens on their home turf.
His strike team: bulletheaded grunt Corporal Leon (Jonathan Howard, as the clear Corporal Hicks analogue), tough ranger Alexi (Ieva Andrejevaite, playing something between Vasquez and The Matrix’s Switch), and sniper/SEAL Colonel Owens (Daniel Bernhardt).
Early on in the story, as Radford lays out the plan, Alexi tells Rose, “This is no war. This is a heist.” That’s a tremendous idea that never pays off. Part of the fun of the Skyline series has been the way it abruptly and unpredictably swerves between genres, from horror to science fiction to run-and-gun action to emotional family drama. If Skylines actually were a heist movie, with some deft planning and a crackerjack crew of specialists trying to finagle an alien artifact off an alien world, that would at least be something genre fans haven’t seen before.
Rose struggles with her powers and her reluctant-Messiah syndrome, and with the trauma of having failed so many survivors while trying to save even more.
Skylines revolves around Rose Corley, the leader of the alien resistance, who now lives as a civilian in London. She's tracked down by the military and informed that friendly alien pilots have been dying. Rose subsequently leads a mission to Cobalt-1, a planet that's been linked to the mysterious illnesses on Earth. Upon arriving, Captain Corley learns more about her past and discovers the true reason for the military operation.
Lindsey Morgan As Rose Corley. Lindsey Morgan stars as Rose Corley, the superhuman heroine of Beyond Skyline who investigates a new alien threat. Morgan portrayed Kristina Davis in General Hospital and starred as Raven Reyes in The 100.

It is now about the year 2090 on Earth. They are all beyond crushed, but Brand is relieved to know her father is still alive and well. They are receiving messages from Earth, but unable to transmit out. Cooper watches all the videos and breaks down looking at 23 years of recorded videos and sees before his very eyes his 17-year-old son Tom showing a picture of what he believes is the right girl for him. In the next video, Tom (now played by Casey Affleck) introduces to Cooper to his grandson Jesse. In the next video, a now weather-beaten and 40-year-old Tom reveals that Donald died a week ago and is buried next to Jesse and that he believes Cooper to be missing or dead and needs to let him go. Then afterwards an apparent live recording comes from Murph (now played by Jessica Chastain). After 25 years of silence, a still stubborn and saddened Murph tells off her father for not fulfilling the possibility of being back because she is now 35 years of age, which is the same age he was when he left Earth. It's like a knife has been plunged into his heart and he feels he has betrayed her badly and has no way to communicate back with her.
On Earth, Murph stops recording the video. She is now working for Dr. Brand and living in the NASA bunker, who is now about 90-years-old and confined to a wheelchair. Brand is still trying to solve the incomplete gravity equation to get Plan A rolling and is reassuring Murph that the crew of the Endurance are receiving their recorded messages, but the crew can't transmit out.
Cooper: [Cooper sits to watch the video messages left for him over the years] Cooper. Computer: Messages span twenty-three years. Cooper: Play from the beginning. [message from Tom starts playing] Young Tom: Hey, Dad. Checkin' in, sayin' hi. Um... finished second in school, Miss Carlin's still giving me Cs though. Pulled me down, but second's not bad. Grandpa attended the ceremony. Um... oh, I met another girl, dad. I, uh... I really think this is the one. Her name is Lois. That's her right there. [Tom holds up a photo of Lois, Cooper, overwhelmed with emotion, begins weeping] Young Tom: Murphy stole grandpa's car. She crashed it, she's okay though. Tom: [we see another message from Tom showing him as an adult] Hey, Dad. Look at this! [Tom holds up his baby next to him] Tom: You're a grandpa. His name's Jesse. I kind of wanted to call him Coop, but, Lois says maybe next time. Lois: [to Jesse] Say bye-bye Grandpa. Bye-bye Grandpa. Tom: [Cooper continues to watch his messages, the next one shows Tom looking despondent] Sorry it's been a while. Just... what with Jesse and all. Uh... grandpa died last week. We buried him out in the back plot next to mom and... Jesse. Just where we would've buried you if you'd ever... come back. Murph was there at the funeral. We don't see her that much, but she came for that. Tom: [Tom hesitates] You're not listening to this, I know that. All these messages are just... drifting out there in the darkness. Lois says that, uh... I have to let you go. And, uh... so, I guess... I'm letting you go. I don't know where you are, Dad. But I hope that wherever you are you're at peace. Goodbye. [Tom turns off the camera, Cooper touches the screen not wanting to let go when suddenly a message from a now adult Murph comes up]

Rescue at the Old Bailey Courthouse - Justice League 2017Recall2021-01-10 | Rescue at the Old Bailey Courthouse "I don't believe it. What are you?" "A believer." ―The terrorist leader and Wonder Woman
In London, a small group of reactionary terrorists took over the Old Bailey Courthouse, taking several hostages including a school field trip. Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) stormed the building and used the Lasso of Hestia to compel one of the terrorists to tell her their plans. He revealed that their leader had a bomb powerful enough to destroy several city blocks while the world media will watch. Diana (Gal Gadot) took out the terrorists and neutralizes the bomb. The terrorist leader then tried to kill the hostages with a gun, but Diana (Wonder Woman) protected the hostages by deflecting bullets with her bracelets.
Justice League was based at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, southeast England, famously home of the Harry Potter films and of the Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour. There’s extensive use of studio sets and CGI, particularly for ‘Gotham City’ though aerial shots of the city are back to Chicago, which was used as far back as Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins. The S.T.A.R. Lab, where Silas Stone (Joe Morton) works, is added digitally – east of Millennium Park on land seemingly reclaimed from Lake Michigan.
The chaos unleashed by the Man of Steel’s absence impels Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) to fill the void by reaching out to apparent metahumans with good intentions.
In London, a couple of white vans cross the Thames via Tower Bridge (all cinematic journeys in London involve this Bridge, which finally got a featured role in Spider-Man: Far From Home). The vehicles then pass by St Paul’s Cathedral, but is perfectly justified by their destination, which is the Central Criminal Court, The Old Bailey, London EC4. Diana Prince (Wonder Woman) fends off the terrorists: Central Criminal Court - Justice League 2017 scene
The Statue of Justice atop the building, sword in one hand, scales in the other, has always been visual shorthand for an important trial.
For such a phenomenally high-security establishment, it’s astonishing to learn that the attack by a “small group of reactionary terrorists” really was staged in the building’s lobby. Fortunately, Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) is on hand, in her guise as Wonder Woman, waiting in the Scales of Justice, to see off the bad guys and save bystanders.
Wonder Woman was also changed for the better by her experience with the Justice League. Batman had forced her to confront the century she had chosen to not engage in her role as protector and beacon of hope to the world. Wonder Woman accepted the leadership of the League and the responsibility that comes with it when she led them into the final battle with Steppenwolf. After foiling a robbery at the British Museum at the end of the movie, Wonder Woman met with the public for the first time, accepting her role as an ambassador for both the League and the Amazon way of life. It was time at last for the world to get to know Wonder Woman.
Warner Bros. began to develop a live-action Justice League film in 2007. The studio tapped Michele and Kieran Mulroney to pen a screenplay which became known as Justice League: Mortal.
When the evil and powerful Steppenwolf returns to Earth with his demons after the death of Superman, he retrieves the Mother Box from The Paradise Island. Queen Hippolyta warns her daughter Diana Prince about the menace to the planet and the Wonder Woman meets Batman to discuss how defend Earth. Meanwhile Steppenwolf retrieves the second Mother Box from Atlantis and Batman and Wonder Woman team up with The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg, with the support of Alfred, to protect the last Mother Box entrusted to humans. But Batman concludes that they do not have enough power to save the world and proposes to use the power of the Box to revive Superman despite the risks.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his new-found ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.
