Military Fashion Show │animation meme│(flash warning) Rosalind B. Sterling 2024-05-09 | Military fashion show meme except I hardly follow the format and use a different part of the song lmao. But anyways, this is my first official animation meme! I’ve technically done a few prior to this but they weren’t *really* animation memes and were usually hardly animated or too short. So excuse the quality of this video, I’m still getting used to making stuff like this. I was honestly pulling my hair out trying to make it look decent but I think this is an okay first try, especially considering I didn’t use any actual animation programs and just drew each frame in procreate then added them individually into CapCut using some key frames and effects. There’s also a lot of OC lore here that probably doesn’t make sense without any context so click this link for some information on my OCs:authorrosalindbsterling.com/new-pageHere’s some extra context about this video:The first scene is loosely based off a scene from book 2 in my trilogy where Sapphire walks in on Jonathan and Katrina (the two main characters in this video) Yada yada. Everyone sleeps with each other at this agency. But I wanted it to transition to stuff about Jonathan’s past relationships since that’s been a subject we explore in book 2. Trauma from his abusive ex (Licy) gets rehashed, and he even starts to regret the one good ex girlfriend he had (Saba) because he got together with her right after his breakup with Licy and broke things off after realizing he wasn’t ready for a relationship again at that point. He just holds some guilt because he felt like he let her down. Now that he’s with Katrina and sees a future with her, he wants to lock things down as quickly as possible because he knows he got lucky with her, and understands that either of them could die out in the field any day. So he’s scared that if he doesn’t push things forward now, he’ll never get a chance to settle down with her. But he also doesn’t want to push her into things too quickly and risk ruining the relationship altogether since they both come from complicated pasts. So rushing into things is probably the last thing either of them need Also we go over some stuff with them trying to capture Jase since that’s the main plot of book 2. I had lots of fun with it XDI originally was just going to share the art of DJ unicorn at a rave party but it slowly got more and more complicated as I started made a last minute story line of DJ unicorn going to a rave and Derpy finding out about it and being “tf are you doing here?” lmao. The music was slowed down to fit the length of the trailer and was also covered with a bunch of voices and sound effects so it’s not super easy to hear the full thing. You do get to hear a snippet of it at its normal speed without any sound effects over it during the credits, but I wanted to dedicate a post to just the full song so I can have an excuse to brag about this masterpiece that I’ve been jamming to since I made the trailer. But I couldn’t use it due to copyright issues which meant I couldn’t sample it either. So I had him make a song that was inspired by it instead. Like specific memories of me listening to it in my bedroom late at night while daydreaming about my characters and looking out at the stars which is why I picked it. She's basically a small ball of pink fur (her name's Rachael btw) that my MC Jonathan takes with him everywhere like an emotional support animal, but he basically treats her like a daughter.
