Also, I know I haven't uploaded anything publicly for over a year on this channel, and the reason for that is because since NEVERMORE 2, I have been working pretty much every week on freelance stuff (CS and other projects). In October last year I also got a full-time job where I now mainly do 3D tasks for videos similar to this one. So yeah, working a full-time job, and doing some freelancing on the side at the same time really drains me out, and whatever free time I have left, I don't want to spend by doing the same thing I'm doing the entire day. Editing...
With all that being said, I do however plan on making another CS:GO edit, and I really plan on making that one as good as possible. It definitely won't come out any time soon, mainly because of my free time and knowledge.
And I posted a small before/after video for these scenes on my Instagram, so you can check that out too: instagram.com/overfuzeNEVERMORE 2 [CS:GO]fuze2019-04-11 | After like a year and a half since NEVERMORE was released, today I am proud to say that I'm done working on NEVERMORE 2, the second part for Apel's Fever Dream weapon collection! I started this project over a year ago, sometime around late November 2017 if I'm correct (maybe some of you remember the streams), but the project was developing really slowly until February 2018, when I stopped working on it because I needed to focus on client work. Unfortunatelly I was promising to make this video on stream, but clearly that didn't happen. Mostly due to the fact that I didn't want to spoil the scenes I was creating and I wanted everyone to feel like they are watching it for the first time. (however I did use the scenes that I started on stream.) I "re-started" to work on it sometime around mid November 2018, but I ran into a lot of hardware limitations which forced me to buy a new rig. I actively continued working around December 2018, and pretty much since then I have been working on it "daily". I have to say I am very pleased with how it turned out, altho some scenes could be improved, but I think it was time to be done with it and just upload it. I am planning on making a breakdown of this video, so stay tuned for that (and I will be streaming that for sure!)
Something that I have to do is give a massive shoutout to BKY & DopedGirl for doing the sound design for the whole video, I linked BKY's channel and SoundCloud profile below so be sure to check him out!
Also a person I couldn't do any of this is, Apel. Truly an insane designer and a wonderful friend, please check out his stuff because if you don't, believe me you are missing out...

The initial concept of the gun was made by Phenomenal which I later modeled, textured and rendered. You can check out the 3D preview on Sketchfab! (bit.ly/Hybrid-R900-Sketchfab) The video was rendered in Redshift which is pretty much my first 3D related video I ever released that hasn't been rendered in Unreal, I will probably switch to Octane when it comes for Unreal so hopefully the quality of my CS:GO videos will increase aswell. The project was a collaboration with bky who made all the sound design for the video, it was a special project because of the intro showcasing the other 4 designs from the Dark Pact Collection by Apel, huge thanks to him for letting me work on these projects! About the other projects for my channel, I am still not sure when will I be able to work on NEVERMORE 2 or anything else really, I will try to make some time to stream and work on it, but unfortunatelly I can't promise anything, there's a lot of stuff going on for me at the moment so it's pretty hard to make time for it...

Well, I have finally released something thats over 1 minute (yay :D). I really want to thank Sparkles, wouldn't be possible without you man :). I spent a lot of time on this, and learned a bunch of new things along the way. The edit is dedicated to a friend (Riko Kaspar Madisson a.k.a Defuzahh), who died in a car crash earlier this year, rest in peace my friend. At the end of the clip it says its rendered with Unreal Engine 4, and its true, most who've been asking me if I rendered in Cinema4D, and I said yes, have been pretty much lied to (sorry guys). Don't get too confused about this tho, because 90% of the edit was done in Cinema4D and Unreal Engine 4 was basically only used to render with. I would like to thank all of the people who were involved in this project more or less, that being: Sparkles, R.I.Pieces, maro, kosta, sacky, FLXD, bleinkz, dakine, FLM, NAXIU, jnsz, rockit and bky. So yeah, this is the edit that was announced like 6 months ago, it was supposed to be a dual edit with sokz (sorry man, I've waited for over 6 months for your part). In my opinion, best edit I have ever created. Pretty short with a pretty long intro which is kind of a shame. I couldn't be arsed to finish the whole thing alone, the motivation just wasn't there, I was more hyped to start working on something new at that time. I would like to give HUGE thanks to Caleon1 who ported over the Smith model from CS:S to CS:GO (u can see his models over at: http://gamebanana.com/members/1387907), maro who did a sick song cut for the edit and FLXD who made some dope ass backgrounds, and kosta, sacky, dakine, sokz, and probably some others that helped with frags (sorry if I forgot any others). Oh, also, the world in this edit was rendered inside Element 3D, not in-game. I might make a small breakdown if anyone is interested. And yeah some scenes were re-created from the original movies, such as the ammo room and the bullet stop thing.

Hi guys, recently I was browsing ReShade forum, and stumbled upon an solution to a long missing feature in Source games. Enabling depth effects in Source games (CS:GO, CS:S, GMOD, etc...). Well the solution was found by user Elimina and its a rather simple one, all you have to do is write r_drawvgui 0 into the console which clears out the ingame depth (note that when you write this in your console will be transparent and you wont be able to see what you're writing, so its best to make a bind toggle). Hope this helps to people who are too lazy to record mirv_streams or are using mirv_streams depthmap just to make DOF. In order to remove ReShade (in case you want to play the game) you just delete/move the d3d9.dll out of /bin/ folder. As for my other projects, I've got 2 bigger ones that should be out by christmas time :)
FAQ (IF YOUR QUESTION IS ANSWERED HERE, I WILL NOT RESPOND TO IT):
Q: Why is my ReShade not working in CS:GO?
A: Make sure your d3d9.dll is in the /bin/ folder.
Q: Why is my ReShade not working with OLD CS:S?
A: Put your d3d9.dll next to the hl2.exe (not in /bin/)
Q: I did everything u said in the video, depth is still black/white.
A: Make sure you disabled your MSAA in video settings, and that you made a toggle for r_drawvgui (bind n r_drawvgui 0 1), if you do not have the bind, ReShade depth will not work, this step is essential.
Q: How do I remove ReShade?
A: Complete remove: delete d3d9.dll, d3d9.ini, reshade-shaders folder. Simple remove: delete/move d3d9.dll out of /bin/ (preferably out of CS:GO folder).
A: AFAIK, mirv_streams force mat_queue_mode to other than -1, if you attach a command to a specific stream to set the mat_queue_mode to -1, it MIGHT work, tho I am not sure because I did not test it.
Yeah as all of u can see there is almost no velocity and pan/crop, tried to keep this clean as possible so I could highlight all the details. The edit was originally planed to be released at 5th of August because it was supposed to be a birthday clip for my friend Kosta (whose frags are used in this edit ofcourse), so yeah happy late birthday Kosta! (I know, I'm not a good friend when I publish a birthday edit 3 days after the actual birthday...). Also, the dual edit which I'm doing with my friend sokz is still in the making, so that should be released somewhere this month (I hope atleast lol).
