As most of y'all know at this point, I have not been active on YouTube for a fairly long while, especially since starting my night shift job. I have simply not had the time or energy I used to, to devote to filming and editing and simply creating content. I am pretty sure that I had simply become burned out because it had become a very stressful part of my life when it was my only source of income. I think I simply needed some time to heal from all of that stress and anxiety surrounding what YouTube had become for me. But now that I have had several more months to recharge and sort of sort through things I want to start posting again, but perhaps not just focusing on beauty content. I still love makeup and it is still a very important part of who I am, but it isn't the only thing and I want to share more of myself even if that means I only ever get 100 views. Brand Analyzation Urban Decay! The Relatable Millennial 2021-08-04 | Alright all y'all, the time has come for another one of my palettes I would buy from, insert brand here, if I had money to burn or if I had more faith in the company, or if I liked their formulas. However, this particular episode takes a little bit of a different turn, simply because it steps away from the basic concept of just talking about the palettes that I would like to buy and go a bit more in depth as to why I no longer really purchase from Urban Decay on a whole. Which is why I titled this video as an analyzation instead. Y'all know that as I have taken a much less consumer based approach to my channel this is the content I truly enjoy making. I still love makeup and likely always will, but I have learned throughout my journey on this platform and in purchasing makeup that it is my right and duty to speak plainly on things that I consider important. I do not like giving passes to companies, makeup or otherwise for simply doing the bare minimum. I know that quite a few people have called me overly critical, but critical thinking is the backbone of learning and developing your own set of morals, ethics and beliefs. And maybe it isn't that deep. Sometimes it is just makeup. GRWM Talking About My Second Channel! The Relatable Millennial 2021-07-19 | Hey all y'all and welcome to yet another GRWM video! This one I am extremely excited about because we are going to be talking about me second channel that should be going live within the next month or so of this video being published. There we a significant amount of lull concerning my uploads because both filming and uploading has been extremely difficult to do since I returned to Virginia from Tennessee. I really hope that this will be a positive move forward as I seek to create new content and hopefully rediscover my love for this channel as well. Currently I am literally siting in the BYU Provo Utah library because my brother Avram is a teacher here and this place has internet. I have not had access to suitable internet for uploading in well over two months and it has been extremely frustrating and an exceptionally volatile time for me. Those of you who follow me on Snapchat are certainly aware of that.But I really hope that moving forward I will be able to essentially get my life together, both for this channel as well as my secondary one, which I am extremely excited about.
