Here it is folks. The very first Sonic The Hedgehog game for the SEGA Mega Drive. I thought I go ahead with game capturing this game on my Sega MegaDrive II console as a documentation for the PAL version release.
All the game plays I saw of this game on YouTube are all NSTC 60Hz. There is absolutely rare to none there is a proper full gameplay through that is played in 50Hz PAL speed around. Yet alone on a real hardware capture. I decided to break that and to go ahead to do a FULL-GAMEPLAY of this game that started the rise of the SEGA franchise from 1991.
This is to showcase the importance of the hardware features that are easily forgotten by the more popular NTSC Gameplays I seen online. I think there is only a couple of gameplays in PAL 50Hz. One channel I know for a fact has done a full gameplay through on PAL 50Hz and on real hardware is fellow YouTuber and good mate of mine Adrian Gauna aka @Oysterblade84 but it is split into 20 videos on his channel
Link to his gameplay he did years ago:

I'll admit. this 16-bit version isn't quite a smooth ride as the Sega Master System version I grew up playing. Whilst some levels were fun and in a good fast pace to go through ( Green Hill especially, But there were three zones in particular though I didn't like which I do feel I need to rant about.
So here it goes.
MARBLE ZONE;
Not going to lie, Whilst I love the Music OST on that. The level playing on this is absolutely slow as hell to go through. Not to say I didn't get killed on that as I was able to pass it without losing lives. But it was just too much of a slow pace which felt like it took ages to go through in my mind. It doesn't help as the floating cubes in the lava are awfully slow.
Before you say anything. NO! It has NOTHING to do with the fact that I was playing this in PAL 50Hz on a PAL MegaDrive console. It can be same said even whilst playing on NTSC 60Hz too.
SPRING YARD ZONE.
Again, it's a bit slow to go through but not as much as Marble Zone is though. Reason for this as I always keep running into things that makes it not enjoyable to play at times, especially the sliding block cubes either going up or down as that is way too slow and time consuming to get through. Everything else though does help a bit. But sometimes I got to be careful not to hit into enemies or painful objects.
LABYRINTH ZONE ACT 3.
Whilst I do love Labyrinth Zone on this as it is pretty straight forward on Act 1 & Act 2. I just can't say the same for Act 3.
I personally feel that waterfall puzzle guessing is a dick move by SEGA. I don't think it would be that enjoyable for those who never played this port of the game before or it is their first time playing. I don't know why they would do that. What I can say is, this is the very reason why I prefer the 8-bit port more than thew 16-Bit port.
Also, the boss fight though. I don't get it. Chasing Dr. Robotnik up by jumping up to catch up to him felt like a cheap lazy way if anything. LOL. I know I shouldn't be laughing, but I don't really call that as a proper boss fight. It's more like a chase if anything.
It's almost like the game developers for this port weren't even trying. Not saying it to shit on them. They did a good job on this game. It could've been better in the regard.
Again, that is just my personal opinion. I'm sure they could've maybe make the boss fight similar to the Master System version but slightly change it a bit to make it worth being a proper Boss fight.
That's all I got to say about the Zones I feel like I need to rant about.
But overall. I still enjoy it as the rest of it is enjoyable. Even the Special Stages are quite the head-spinning feel. whilst three of the six Special Stages are easy to get the Chaos Emeralds. I did slip up on the 5th one which I did have to re-do again in Star Light Zone which i got around to doing.
Sit back, Relax and enjoy the Full Gameplay of Sonic The Hedgehog.
ENJOY.

Today. I recently discovered on Atarimania.com a prototype PAL release called Los Angeles 1984 which happens to be Track and Field for the Atari 2600.
When I saw the prototype release. The colour palette were definitely different on the PAL release which did lack more colour palette features like the NTSC official release. So I gone ahead and hack the prototype ROM by making it called 'Track & Field" like it's NTSC counterpart but running on true PAL 50Hz
Not going to lie of all ROM hacks i done for this console port. this one was quite a time consuming challenge. But I did get there in the end. Here's a gameplay video of it in action on my 2600+

A video racing game you play on your Atari Video Computer System.
Every video racing game until now was a trial run from GRAND PRIX
GRAND PRIX puts the feel of a formula one racer in your hands. To sound and fury of a real race in your head. But don't get carried away.
It's only a game. (Or Is it?)

I am thrilled to say it works flawless. Not to mention that I am absolutely enjoying playing this game again after a long while.
This time I gotten a bit further than what I anticipated last time.

I decided to go ahead and do some last touches to The Activision Decathlon ROM Hack of mine in PAL version.
Now this is the v1.2 FINAL version since now everything on this hack has been improved colour palette wise. I can also put this project to rest now as I have improved more on the following.
* slightly darkened the rainbow sunset sky.
* Improved the blue shadow
*Shot put ball is now a very dark green and not blue.
*the distant posts and attempt number cards are now light blue and no longer pink.
*Green background scoreboard is a little lighter.
Nothing more needs to be tweaked around with this release. This is ow all done and finished.
NOTE: at 12:04 Ignore the glitch that says 1500m. that is a 2600+ glitch issue. When playing on Stella or on original 2600 hardware using the Harmony Cartridge. It doesn't show that.
ENJOY: :)
P.S. This is not made by A.I. just basic Hack-O-Matic III software tinkering.
Have to address this since some "clown" thinks this was AI when it obviously ISN'T. -_-;

Starting on this hack back in 2022. I have now come to the conclusion that this hack is now officially FINISHED.
Here are the updates as of v1.3
* Fixed up the sky and added sunset colour palettes.
* Fixed up the Hue on the water and fixed up the waterfall colour palettes.
* Pitfall Harry now has the colour palettes that now match to the PAL Version of Pitfall! from 1982.
* Balloon has it's Red, Green and Blue Hues fixed up.
* Checkpoint colour is now 'red' and not 'brown'.
*Trees and grass colours have been corrected
Works excellent on Stella. Works on real hardware on the Atari 2600 console using the Harmony Cartridge. However it still will not work on the 2600+ using the Harmony cartridge though. Until there is updates on AtariAge when the Harmony Cart or 2600+ Firmware update does help with getting this Game to work on it with the Harmony Cartridge. It is still incompatible with the 2600+.
I'm now officially putting this project to rest as there is absolutely no more tweaking that is needed.
Up to you guys to give this PAL 50Hz remaster a go.
Feel free to do gameplay captures of my hack here too. If you do so, feel free to comment on here to let me know and I will check it out. :)
Take care. Stay Safe. and GAME ON!!
ENJOY. :)

Got an unusual issue regarding the Harmony Cartridge.
I attempted to do a Clean Comp Mod I got from RetroSix (Which didn't work BTW and it's not cause of my soldering but since then removed the failed video mod.) anyways. When I installed the mod originally, The colours were very off. after i attempted to desolder, & resolder it back to see if it helped. I inserted back the Harmony Cartridge. and well you can see the results. The Harmony Cartridge stopped working completely. I went and removed the video completely back to RF pre-mod condition. when I tried the Harmony Cartridge again. It will not work. The Harmony Firmware is the latest. Even when running the BIOS SD Mode or flashed one game to the Harmony. it will not boot or run it. The console does play and boot individual games (E.g. CASEY'S GOLD by Audacity Games shown on this short.)
HOWEVER.. When I run it on the 2600+. The Harmony Cartridge works on that flawlessly.
It begs the question. Is it a console issue? Harmony Cart issue? or both?
Even though we do have an official PAL Version of this game. However I feel that the colour palettes were a little too bright for my liking compare to it's NTSC counterpart. What I have done is I gone ahead with changing the colour palettes so it's almost identical to the NSTC version.
I will say. The Results look flawless if you ask me.

Today I came to show you a game that I received from the great people of Audacity Games.
You remember some years back I did a gameplay recording of Audacity Game's Circus Convoy?
youtube.com/watch?v=6zLWlrmyJ1I
This is the second Audacity game I received and own, This is Casey's Gold by Dan Kitchen.
I been keeping an eye watch when this game was announced back when Audacity Games first formed. released last year in Late 2024. I finally got the game in my hands.
You play as Casey O'Kelly, the train conductor who leads through the whole train, starting from the train's Caboose at each start of the level. You must gather Gold in order to compete the level. Gathering balloons helps to give you more bonus points along the way. As good as the rewards are. There are lots of obstacles to go through. from dead Cow horn skulls, to spiders, snakes. bouncing balls, open Roof hatches. etc.
Head over to the Great West on Casey's Gold from Audacity Games.
I played this game on the Atari 2600+
This copy you are seeing is the PAL Version of this game.
YOU CAN PURCHASE CASEY'S GOLD FROM AUDACITY GAME'S WEBSITE:

After digging up and searching deep online. I came across archive.org that has a list of Atari 2600 ROMs on there. One caught my eye on there that showed a "Unknown" Publisher of the game Crackpots from "archive.org"
After downloading it and opening it up on Stella. I was surprised to came across a legitimate PAL release of Crackpots ( minus the Activision sprite logo and with the wrong colours making it like a NTSC50 release) I said to myself "You beauty"
I gather around by opening this ROM on Hack-O-Matic 3. went ahead with checking the addresses.I emplimented the Activison logo with the rainbow banner on it along with the "Copyright 1983" HEX data into this ROM. Saving bits and pieces as I go of course.
Now everything here is now been done up with the following fixes:
● Corrected the sky colour and sunset colours
● Made the buildings int he background a caramel brown.
● Restore the Activision logo with the correct rainbow banner colours
●Bricks, bugs and pot plants with planst now have the right colours.
● Player character has a more beige colour skin than a yellow skin like it's NTSC version counterpart.

THIS TIME PLAYED ON A ATARI 2600+
G'day folks.
Believe it or not guys. I was able to do some Hacking using Hack-O-Matic 3 to look into releasing the PAL version of Dolphin from the 2 in 1 Pak from HES.
After hours of doing some work on this. I have happen to split the ROM so that it is a One game only, Which was easy to do with countless saving and testing using Stella.
However I went beyond just simply hacking it. Seeing this was a HES 2 in 1 Pak release. it was missing the Activision logo with the rainbow banner as well as the "Copyright" text.
I managed to add them into the ROM in HOM3.1. After saving and testing it again. Got the game to display the Copyright 1983 text, But not yet shown the Activision logo.
SO I taken more time to look into it more, been changing values on the address lines that displays the Activision log by changing it's values. after saving it and a final test. The game runs now displaying it as if it was a official PAL version release of the game.
I provided not only screenshots. But the ROM file hack for you guys there to try out in proper 50Hz.
I tested this on the 2600+, Yet to test it on a real original 2600 console. But I can say that on Stella & The 2600+ It works as it should.
This video recording was done playing the Hack on the Atari 2600+ hence why the quality is at 720p50p
This ROM hack is now at v1.1 FINAL as I made a minor touch up by changing the palette on the seaweeds from caramel yellow to orange just like the official NTSC version.
ENJOY!

i've updated the firmware to v2.0.1.4, Since I had a harmony cartridge I happen to Flash my Hack of Decathlon PAL Remastered v1.1. to my surprise. it actually WORKS.
I had to flash it to my Harmony Cart since I cannot use the SD card on the harmony Cart due to imcompatibility. But it will work with one game at a time that is flashed to the cartridge.
If you want to give this a go yourself. when Flashing this using the Harmony Cart software, go to Developer mode, insert my Hack ROM file. be sure to set it to using F8 (8K Atari).arm
If this video isn't proof I got Decathlon (Let alone my Deacthlon hack to work) I don't know what is for those who think this is clickbait which definite isn't.
This is just a quick video gameplay on Stella Atari 2600 Emulator as I was going ahead with doing a simple colour palette hack of Pitfall! from Activision.
This one was hacked from the NTSC version. What I've done here is I've changed the palette values using Hack-O-Matic 3 by changing the following.
Removing the vomit colour bottom platforms to orange.
Leaves are now a proper dark green than a dark yellow tinge green
Water is now a proper mid blue and not a aqua blue tinge
Tree barks are now a warmer brown.
Log rollers are now a warmer brown.
Played this on Stella since my 2600 consoles that have been RGB Modded for some reason have stopped working. So I got no way of playing this on real hardware at this time.
ENJOY: :)

At night, Diddy Kong and his girlfriend, Dixie Kong, are worried because Donkey Kong has not returned. They go to the beach to investigate, and the Kongs find many footprints surrounding Donkey Kong's broken chair. They find a note in the chair which reads
Hah-arrrrh! We have got the big monkey! If you want him back, you scurvy dogs, you'll have to hand over the banana hoard! Kaptain K. Rool
Cranky suggests handing over the banana hoard to K. Rool. Diddy refuses because of how much effort he and Donkey Kong went through to retrieve the bananas, and that he would be very upset if his bananas were stolen again. Cranky asks if they have any better suggestions, and Diddy and Dixie both say that they want to rescue Donkey Kong themselves. The two get in a brief argument with Cranky, who does not believe Diddy qualifies as a video game hero. Thus, it's up to Diddy to save Donkey Kong, and alongside Dixie, who insisted on joining him, starts his journey.
ENJOY!

Yes, you read it right. The Super Nintendo version of Lemmings deserves to get the Colour Palette and Level title Fix Hack treatment too. The writing palettes now match close to the Commodore Amiga version whilst keeping the good SNES version specs in place.
Although it wasn’t easy to change the colour palette on this port as this took hours to do and a different method to palette hacking. But got there in the end. Saying that, Glad the Super Nintendo version gives me more colour palettes up to 32,768 colours in order to try and make it as very close to the Amiga colour palette as possible.
Along with not only some Level Title Fixes. but restored the Levels that were censored by Nintendo of America.
Despite the Level changes to the USA & PAL version. What’s interesting about this is, according to the wiki called “The Cutting Room Floor” The levels that were altered because of Nintendo of America’s strict censorship. these altered levels got their own Level ID rather than overwriting the original level ID. I used the HEX editor to find those level ID’s within the ROM from the PAL version and the Japanese Super Famicom version. Went ahead and added those values. after saving it and testing. the levels worked.
Check "The Cutting Room Floor" Wiki page of Lemmings.

Super Mario RPG's story focuses on Mario and his friends as they seek to defeat the Smithy Gang, who have crashed into their world and scattered the seven star pieces of Star Road. It is the first RPG in the Mario franchise, drawing from major elements of Square's RPG franchises such as Final Fantasy. The main form of fighting enemies is turn-based combat with a party of up to three characters. It is also the first game in the Mario franchise to have gameplay within an isometric 3D environment, allowing for a new variety of the exploration and platforming elements reminiscent of the Super Mario series.
Just on a high note. This is a PAL 50Hz patch released by josete2k to make the gameplay run in PAL 50Hz speed. Another changes too shown is during the battle, the button HUD no longer shows the Purple and lavender colour and is changed to the Super Famicom button look since that is how the PAL SNES is like as well. Mind you this is NOT a FullGameplay as I only did the first seventh of this game. However on this gameplay I did come off short from beating Mack. But I did beat it a day later whilst didn't record it. I might try and do a 2nd segment on this gameplay. See how I go. No promises though.
Except for the main title screen theme. the majority of the Music has been optimised to run in PAL now which is a great bonus.
Lastly. The Subtitle funnies is back as well. 8D
Yep decided to add the subtitle funnies on here too along with some added SFX just to make this gameplay funnier.

It’s a console version of the card game Uno for 1 or 2 players. You can play against CPUs for a total of 6 players.
This is a Japan Only release for the Super Famicom in 1993. Never been officially released in NTSC-U in North America or Canada. Never officially released in PAL in Europe, United Kingdom, Australia nor New Zealand. However UNO has been a worldwide card game play for the family.
Up until now. Big thanks to krokodyl for translating the Japanese release to English in his v1.0 Hack patch on his Github and uploaded to ROMHack Plaza by a fan. Now us who speak English can now enjoy playing this card game on their Super Nintendo System like I have or play it on a SNES Emulator.
On this game for the Super Famicom (SNES) There is a regular game mode, Team mode, and a story mode.
This video I recorded shows the Regular Game mode & Team Mode. However I decided to go with the Englush Translation Hack made by krokodyl who has happily translated all the game's writing to English so all of us can understand how the gameplay goes. I downloaded this patch and played it onto my SD2SNES Flash Cartridge and played it on a real Super Nintendo PAL System.
This gameplay is a long one (Goodness me about 2+ hours .)
Since It's been ages since I actually uploaded a real proper gameplay video. decided to give the Sega MegaDrive gameplays a beak and switch over to doing some Super Nintendo gameplays. :)

this v1.0 has everything improved from the PAL v1.5 Hack release.
HERE ARE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES:
HUD Map window is now Green rather than Golden Yellow.
Fixed the Psygnosis Logo Colour Palette so now it’s Lavender & Hot purple gradient.
A BeastII of a Level is reverted back to its original palette as I didn’t like how that turned out in v1.3 PAL version.
Yes. I decided to make this hack for the NTSC region as well for your USA Sega Genesis or Japanese Sega MegaDrive.
Whilst this Hack does play on a PAL Sega Mega Drive. the gameplay is slow and not Optimised. If you want to play this Hack on a PAL Optimise version. Click the Link Below to Download the Lemmings Colour Palette & Title Fix Hack v1.5 FINAL (PAL) :
romhackplaza.org/romhacks/lemmings-colour-palette-level-title-fix-v1-1-pal-genesis
This hack include the changes And Fixes.
CHANGES AND FIXES BY JOSHO:
Dirt levels no longer the vomit yellow green colour,
Yellow Pillar palette matches the Entry and Exit.
Blue Crystal palette now matches the Amiga palette including the very dark one now black rather than BG blue.
Red Fire Levels now improved to look more red and darker.
Intro Cutscene is brighter to match the Amiga’s version.
Title screen Palette has improved.
The Level card palettes have now been improved to adjust the contrast better, including making the yellow text now a coffee bronze
colour.
Fixed the Level 1 Title name
Fixed the Brief to recommended percentage of saves.
FIXES BY ADRIAN GAUNA:
Fun Level 10: Smile if you love Lemmings
Fun Level 26: Nightmare on Lem street
Tricky Level 4: Been there, seen it, done it.
Tricky Level 6: Lemmings in the basement
Tricky Level 16: Luvly Jubly
Tricky Level 17: Diet Lemmingade
Taxing Level 16: Mary Poppin’s land.
Mayhem Level 20: No added colours or Lemmings
Fixed a typo in the ending credits from “GRAPICHS” to “GRAPHICS”
“NOTE: Do NOT patch this Hack with the Lemmings PAL Europe ROM. it will not work. You MUST patch this with the Lemmings USA/JAPANESE NTSC version v1.0 ROM as this is a hack from the NTSC version of Lemmings for the SEGA Genesis/ Japanese SEGA MegaDrive.
Do NOT patch this with the Lemmings USA Rev. v1.1 ROM either. It WILL distort the colours and cause a bad checksum.”
I can confirm this ROM hack is compatible to run on real hardware using the Mega Everdrive x7.

This is out of all my favourite Special level from Lemmings with the layout used based on the Psygnosis hit game AWESOME.
As you can see I went and fixed up the colour palette for this level to make it as close to the colour palette for the Commodore Amiga version, This is as close as I can get to that due to the Sega MegaDrive's colour palette limitations. the v1.2 I did have up that was only available for a few hours before I decided to make the split decision to properly fix it up as a v1.3 release. if you do have the v1.2 patch. Feel free to go with v1.3 as that is now fixed up. :)
ENJOY this few minutes level play.
Take care, Stay safe and GAME ON!

NOTE: Do NOT patch this Hack with the Lemmings USA/JAPAN ROM. it will not work. You MUST patch this with the Lemmings EUROPE PAL version as this is a hack from the PAL version of Lemmings for the SEGA MegaDrive.
Patch has updated to v1.3 to fix the Special Level palette for Taxing "What an AWESOME Level"
See the Romhack Plaza update for more info in the link below.
ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION:
I decided after so long to update my Lemmings Colour Palette & Level Title fix PAL hack to v1.2.
This version has the following changes.
Colour palettes altered for the special Levels from Fun to Mayhem
Fixed the Title for Level 16 Luvly Jubly to have the two words in one space apart rather than two spaces apart like the v1.1 whilst keeping the level title spelling how Adrian Gauna renamed it.
The purple text palette has now been tweaked to a better warmer purple rather than a cooler purple.
Saying that though. Whilst A Beast of a Level on Fun and MENACING !!! has the palettes improved well. What an Awesome Level and A BeastII of a Level looks OK, But think I may need to tweak it more down the line as some colours are kinda off (especially Level 22 Mayhem)
DOWNLOAD FOR v1.2 at ROMHack Plaza.

Personally I love the work been done to Green Hills with better colour palettes as well as the distant mountains. and Jungle Zone with added Fruits that were absent on the Master System version.
The character's sprites have been majorly improved. Can see the love and passion was put to this hack.
I've provided the link not just to the discussion but the comment there by the Authour also has an attachment to download this patch.

NOTE: I'm still on hiatus to look after my mother who is battling cancer right now. I got this video up to show the gameplay of Sonic & Knuckles for the Sega Mega-Drive playing as Sonic through the whole game. I might do a Knuckles gameplay later on down. Probably not until my mother's improving and/or she is in remission. Thank you.

Sonic & Knuckles is a 1994 platform game developed and published by Sega. Players control Sonic the Hedgehog or Knuckles the Echidna in their quests to save Angel Island; Sonic tries to stop Doctor Robotnik from re-launching his orbital weapon, the Death Egg, while Knuckles scuffles with Robotnik's minion, EggRobo. Like previous Sonic games, players traverse side-scrolling levels at high speeds while collecting rings and defeating enemies.
Sonic & Knuckles was released for the Sega Genesis on October 18, 1994. It received positive reviews; critics were impressed with the replay value and lock-on technology, despite its similarity to Sonic 3. The games sold a combined four million copies worldwide, placing them among the best-selling Sega Genesis games. They have since been rereleased in various Sega and Sonic compilations.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is a 2D side-scrolling platformer. As with Sonic the Hedgehog 2, players can control Sonic, Tails, or both simultaneously. In the former choice, players control Sonic while Tails runs along beside him; a second player can join at any time and control Tails separately. Sonic 3 adds the ability for Tails to fly for a short time by spinning his twin tails like a helicopter rotor.Unlike Sonic, Tails can also swim underwater.
Sonic 3 takes place over six zones, each divided into two acts. Levels are populated with "badniks", robots created by the villain, Dr. Robotnik; Sonic and Tails can defeat them by jumping on them or using the "spin dash" attack, which also gives the character a speed boost. The levels include obstacles and other features such as vertical loops, corkscrews, breakable walls, spikes, water that the player can drown in, and bottomless pits. There is a miniboss fight with one of Robotnik's large, powerful robots at the end of the first act of each level and a boss fight with Robotnik at the end of the second.Reaching a new level saves the game to one of six save slots.
ENJOY.

Sonic Chaos is a 1993 platform game published by Sega for the Master System and Game Gear. Players control Sonic the Hedgehog and his sidekick Miles "Tails" Prower in their quest to retrieve the Chaos Emeralds from Doctor Robotnik, who has stolen them to construct nuclear weapons. Gameplay involves running through stages, collecting rings, and defeating enemies. It is largely based on the Master System version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and is thus considered a follow-up to that game. Chaos is the first Sonic game for the Master System and Game Gear to feature Tails as a separate playable character with his own unique abilities.

Another one you guys will notice too is, I took the effort to make the Overscan colour borders to match the Levels' Main BG now so that it will look more better and seeing it pop out more. :) Most importantly. The Checksum has been fixed as well. That way you can play this game after it passes the Sega Master System BIOS Startup without the "Software Error" message.
DISCLAIMER: ON LEVEL 1 AS YOU ARE FALLING DOWN. DO NOT BREAK THE YELLOW BLOCKS WITH THE BLACK SKULL ON THEM AS YOU FALL WITHOUT THE RING. OTHERWISE THAT WILL TRIGGER THE BUG IN THE GAME WHERE IT WILL STOP SCROLLING DOWN AND ALEX DISAPPEARS OFF SCREEN TO COARSE THE GAME TO BUG OUT AVOID DOING THAT. UNFORTUNATELY THERE IS NO WAY TO FIX THAT BUG AS IT WAS IMPLIMENTED INTO THE ACTUAL ORIGINAL GAME IN 1986 BY SEGA. AVOID THAT ON LEVEL 1.
Saying that, Adrian did fix up some of the levels himself, Especially on Level 1 since people did report that they keep getting hit by that prehistoric flying creature before going into the water, they report dying there and as the screen was too low they respawn to the pond lakes above where they cannot escape, Adrian has happily fix that so it will not happen ever again, The 2nd one from memory is the Janke Castle as you are falling down the trap floor. the spike below have all been removed. :)
Although on this gameplay I didn't quite make it to the Janken Castle nor clocked the game. But I did get WAY more further this time round than my first video attempt a couple of months back whilst playing his v1.1 2021 release. So that's a plus. But one day I will clock this hack and the original. At least on the Original game which I have uploaded which I will provide the link below. I did get to the Janken Castle. But a few scene's short from reaching the Janken King.
Here's the playthrough for you all.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a video game for the Mega Drive starring Sonic the Hedgehog. Released on the 21st November 1992 (dubbed "Sonic 2sday"), the game went on to be the biggest ever selling Sonic game and the top seller for the Mega Drive. Hotly anticipated after the success of the first Sonic the Hedgehog game, the new entry introduced Miles "Tails" Prower, a character who would go on to appear in almost all subsequent games and be a prominent Sonic the Comic hero.
As in most of the early Sonic games, the plot was very thin on the ground. Doctor Ivo Robotnik has returned to cause havoc and isn't particularly treading new ground, once again capturing fluffy animals to use as organic batteries for his deadly Badnik army. This time, however, Robotnik has a satelite hovering above the skies of Mobius - the Death Egg! It's down to Sonic (and new friend Tails) to free the innocents and put an end to Robotnik's plans of world domination once more.
Throughout the game, Sonic and Tails pass seemlessly through eleven different Zones, fighting Badniks as they go. Cutscenes are very thin on the ground, the only ones being the bi-plane's destruction by the Wing Fortress, Sonic's ascent to the Death Egg and the final movie.
ENJOY.

The 8-Bit sequel to the first Sonic The Hedgehog, This one done by Aspect. Unlike the Sega MegaDrive sequel, this 8-Bit version is more of a dark side. I'll tell you why. If you do not collect all the 6 Chaos Emeralds on this game. You will get the bad ending where it's Sonic alone running until night time looking up to the night sky and showing Tails only as if Dr. Robotnik either killed Tails or roboticized Tails to none existence.
On here I did the full gameplay getting ALL the Chaos Emeralds to get the good ending where in the Good Ending sequence it shows both Sonic and Tails running from day to night. As they stop they both look up to the sky and it shows Both Sonic and Tails which is considered the true ending of the game.
ENJOY

Whilst on the first Janken match I did slip up and it did change the course of the future Janken matches. But I got there in the end. So I hope you all do enjoy this video after the other premiere from an hour before.
This one I hacked to make the game similar to the BIOS Built-In game which has the following changed.
1. Button functions have been swapped to make the gameplay easier
2. The Rice Ball is replaced with a Hamburger for the Western Countries.
3. The date on the title screen has been changed from 1986 to 1990 like the BIOS Built-In game is.
4. The game ROM size has been added up to 256KB than the original 128KB size.
Apart from all that. everything else is left unchanged.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World is a 2D platform game. The player must finish levels and overcome obstacles and puzzles in both scrolling and single-screen environments. Throughout the 17 stages, Alex faces many monsters and the three henchmen of Janken the Great, before facing Janken himself.
Alex's punching ability is used to destroy enemies and to break rocks in order to access new paths and to collect items such as money which can then be used to purchase other items including vehicles such as motorbikes and helicopters. At the end of many stages, Alex plays jan-ken-pon (rock-paper-scissors) with one of Janken's henchmen. Alex dies with one hit, or by losing a game of rock, paper, scissors.
The game has no save system, but by holding the directional pad up and pressing the 2 button eight times at the Game Over screen, the player will restart the level with three new lives, at a cost of 400 Baums (the in-game currency)

Bad news about this game. this SMS ROM file Game won't play the game on a Mega Everdrive x7 which I have demonstrated that the game will not work on this.
However It's not to say it does come with Good news as I unlock a way to play the Sega Master System BIOS games which was a big surprise to me. I've shown two BIOS setups to show this was no fluke at all. Whatever SMS BIOS you got selected on the Mega Everdrive x7. Like for my example I shown I got the EU BIOS set for the Sonic 1 SMS Bios. and the US BIOS set as the Alex Kidd In Miracle World BIOS file. when any of those are selected and you try to run this 4 PAK All Action ROM file. All it will do is just plays the SMS Built-in game ROM file instead. I was absolutely gobsmacked to make a discovery to play this on the Mega Everdrive x7, I did hear online a rumour that The Mega Everdrive Pro can play SMS Built-In game files. Althought I don't have the PRO version of the Mega EverDrive I can say or confirm that.

Never thought I would look into doing this video gameplay. Since this port of the game was one of my very first ever Sonic games I ever owned. So I thought I do this full gameplay. Believe it or not. This is played on a real Sega Master System II PAL console as this is a BIOS Built-in game you are seeing, Hence why the ending is different to the cartridge release. No emulation here, this is straight off the Sega Master System II BIOS chip game. Whilst I know the majority of the Master System II games did have Alex Kidd in Miracle World 1990 release. I happen to been one of those console owners who has the Sonic Built-In version. This is a FULL gameplay and somewhat of a perfect RUN.
NOTE: Yes I am aware some parts of the video there is framerate drops and issues since I did recently had some trouble with OBS. Haven't seen it on the other videos already recorded. if it does occur, I'll go with the Elgato Game Capture software to possibly minimize this issue. But saying that it only happens on a couple of occasions. Don't threat.

Here it is, an Arcade Classic of Out-Run for the Sega MegaDrive. Now you all may have notice a jump of great audio quality on this. That is because this is the first official recording gameplay on my Sega MegaDrive II console that is now been modded with a Triple Bypass 2.0 Mod kit that also has a Mega AMP 2.0 on it to help give this console the best clean audio quality it has to offer compare to the previous gameplays that was unmodded. Hope I did this console justice.
I've also added the side borders as a new feature when doing gaming in 4:3 ratio so that there is no more black side borders. i would've stretch it out to 16:9 ratio. But it would not look good or authentic for my liking. so made it more electrifying.
ENJOY.

What is different between the two? You can see that the Japanese version has 5 extra race tracks that were not included in the release the USA, EU and AU versions got. instead we got the first 5 tracks being easy, as we go to stage 6 the first five tracks ends up being a more race with more traffic to pass where as the Japanese version it shows more variety.
This was played on a real Sega Mega Drive II PAL console. for us growing up in the PAL region this is normal for us than it is to the USA gamers of the past as they would see this as slow.
But this is more to show the added race courses that we never got. Believe me I really liked it and wishes that our retail release has this version. giving that this game has English text being a Japanese release. Give this a go if you got this version. It is good.
Please note. Upon uploading this video. I realised that I only played half of this whole game as I had no idea there was also another race difficulty on this where the race has more traffic to overtake. This gameplay only shows half of the gameplay. Thought I give that disclaimer.
ENJOY.

The reason this is a hack version is I've gone and fixed the colour palettes on this game. Not just the level tile sets. But the writing too. And you can see too that a fellow Australian and Youtuber @Oysterblade84 has helped renamed some levels on here on my ROM hack.
You can now download this ROM hack patch from ROMhacking(.)net. in the link below. Follow the instructions.

UPDATE 19th Aug 2024: Patch can now be found over at Rom Hack Plaza

Also downloadable over at Rom Hack Plaza

NOTE:
During this gameplay there maybe times that the "Right" Audio cuts out. It's from using very old A/V audio cables connected to my Component Video / Stereo Audio Distribution Amplifier that is also connected to my XRGB Mini Framemeister.. It's not the issue with the console AV Multi-Out nor the HDRetrovison Component cables as prior to recording as I know they both work perfectly on my CRT TV's Audio with YPbPr Video inputs.

This isn't the original Alex Kidd In Miracle World that was released in 1986-1987. this is a extended edition hack of the game that was hacked by Adrian Gauna.
I'll say this. I love how he added the other VGM from other games into this. Mostly from Lemmings from the Master System port. As well as the underwater level taken from the game Wonder Boy III

Also after speaking with Adrian who hack this game about a bug on the cave levels. it touyrns out it also happened on the retail release as well. if you don't know what bug it is. it's at the 44:18 timestamp mark.
Apart from that. I really enjoy this hack though. ^^ Give it a go.
ENJOY
Stay safe and GAME ON!

The player can move along a single plane, with the stages typically going in a linear direction and ending with a boss. Each character has a different set of moves which include speed dashes, jumps, grabs, blocks, and a variety of attack moves. There is a power meter that increases slowly with time that, when full, lets the player trigger a powerful attack that damages all enemies on the screen. The meter drains completely if the player is knocked to the ground. Some items, such as motorcycles and large safes, can be picked up and tossed at enemies. The environments occasionally introduce hazards that can hurt the player as well as enemies, such as mine fields or armed helicopters. The Ninja Warriors has eight stages and unlimited continues. The player character can be changed when using a continue.

The player begins in a world map that tracks their progress and provides access to the 40 levels. The player attempts to complete each level while traversing the environment, jumping between platforms, and avoiding enemy and inanimate obstacles. Level themes include jungles, underwater reefs, caves, mines, mountains, and factories. Some feature unique game mechanics, such as rideable minecarts, blasting out of cannons resembling barrels, and swinging ropes. Each area ends with a boss fight with a large enemy. Donkey and Diddy can defeat enemies by jumping on, rolling into, or throwing barrels at them. If hit by an obstacle, one of the Kongs runs off and the player automatically takes control of the other. They will only be able to control that Kong unless they free the other Kong from a barrel.
In certain levels, the player can free an animal that provides the Kongs with special abilities, similar to Yoshi from the Super Mario series.Buddies include Rambi, a rhino that can charge into enemies and find hidden entrances; Enguarde, a swordfish that can defeat enemies with its bill; Squawks, a parrot that carries a lantern; Expresso, an ostrich that flies; and Winky, a frog that can jump high. Each level contains collectible bananas, letters that spell out K–O–N–G, balloons, and animal tokens. These items can be found within the main level or by discovering hidden bonus stages, where they are earned via solving puzzles. The player starts with five lives.Collecting 100 bananas, all the K–O–N–G letters, a balloon, or three of the same animal token grants extra lives.
