The one to one interview felt too much like a potential interrogation for the Washington, D.C. rapper so he decided to change things up and wear his ski mask. The ski mask was not planned but is something that is already a staple in his everyday life, casually donned as a harmless and fashionable thin skully-hat but at any point it can be unravelled for a home invasion, disguise from the cops or ... Members of the group include, Yesus 199, Pete, Izzy Oz, and Ill Spills, but there is a fifth member, Se Word who is lost but not forgotten and whose spirit remains as the glue that brought them together and is still bonds them to this day. Having met in the era of Myspace and top 8's, these uncanny MCs have gone from rudimentary rhymes and 72 bar freestyles to a more cohesive collaboration that is metered out in the studio and balanced by fraternal competition. Each member is not featured on every track and there's room to breathe as an MC and as a listener as you go through their two mixtapes, "Influence" and "T.H.C. - The HighGo Chronicles."
After spending a few hours in Vegas, the groups' low-key Bronx Boulevard headquarters it becomes apparent that this is the starting point of many of their ideas and the order that comes from their chaos. Comparable to the real Vegas and city of sin, there are only a few rules in the the B.I.C. hub with the two main edicts being; no smoking ... of cigarettes that is, and the other being, "thou must light up." Don't come to their spot empty handed especially if you intend to have fun and engage in any conversation with the group or any of the several girls that seem to be usually present and equally chain smoking the goods.
If you haven't yet, check out a few of their music videos which will give a further glimpse into their antics and originality.

As the the tattoo on his arm reads, Joey now makes music "for those who come from nothing." After linking up with his childhood friend and rapper, Vince Staples, Joey got a spark to start rapping and learned to make tracks for himself. To Joey it only made sense to do as much as he could and if given any opportunity to be in the music industry he definitely wasn't going to waste it. Joey is always extremely confident he can make something from nothing as he has done many times before and he doesn't hesitate getting to the point.
Within a short period of time Vince introduced Joey to A$ton Matthews, another local Long Beach rapper who also had a very distinct history in the streets having been shot in the two years prior. The two of them immediately bonded and they were soon collaborating musically and supporting each other in all aspects of life and survival. What has followed is a series of gritty and well produced mixtapes as Chipper Jones Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. A$ton Matthews' Versace Ragz was also heavily produced and recorded by Joey as well. The music created a strong buzz in the West and soon caught the ears of A$AP founder and A&R, A$AP Yams. Once Yams made the connection on the phone he was on a plane to Los Angeles and began working on music with both Joey and Aston and began creating the foundation for his new entity, Yamborghini Records. Soon A$AP Rocky was also looking to Joey for those gritty, ambient, and 808 heavy tracks that would be the sound bed for his LP track "Jodye" as well as current work on his upcoming instrumental album.
Although still somewhat fresh out the gate, Joey Fatts seems like a good bet for success. Currently you can catch him opening up shows on the A$AP Ferg: Turnt x Burnt Tour hitting select cities across the country.

"I probably wrote my first rhyme after this dude broke my heart, I wrote a rap about him. I played it for my brother, I rapped it for him and he was like man this is tight but you cant make all your songs about no dude. You got to go take these girls heads off and show them that I could rap!"
With Raven fully immersed in her new found talent she wasted no time funneling her 9 to 5 wages into purchasing studio time and chasing her dream each day. She put time into learning the craft but it wasn't until she met Picasso of Language Artz who brought her into the fold providing not only a team but also direction and support for her first real project.
"We had a situation on 2dopeboyz where Meka was dropping freestyles from each member in Language Arts each Friday. Picasso said I'm going to put you to the test, I'm going to send you a beat come over here record it and this will be your first intro to the blog sites. It just made such a big frenzy and people went crazy over it. Not long after we started the EP Inspired and that's when everything started moving for me.
Raven Sorvino doesn't want to be put in the same category as any MC let alone male or female. She wants her music to be heard and her persona to be respected based of her talent alone. With a sound that is reminiscent of New York and Los Angeles Raven has the ability to reach audiences at a core level and she hopes it's her music solely that people judge her by.
"That whole female thing, to get attention and respect. I try not to think about that because I feel like it will weigh me down. Don't even really call me a female rapper, just look at me like an artist and just listen to the music and enjoy the presentation I'm giving you. Get the whole she's a girl thing out your head."
For her most recent project Queen of Hearts, Raven is ready to make her mark and she knows her time is now. "After coming off of Playa Del Rey the process and the growth for this new tape Queen of Hearts is the experience of coming to NYC going to SXSW, interacting with fans now my confidence level is really up there. Now I see people paying attention people now who I am. It's like ok all eyes are on you, what is she going to do right now. This is the moment where Raven Sorvino needs to break!"

"I don't love Instagram, but I like it! I'll be on there and I'll post one picture, and I'll get four or five different text messages from girls I haven't talked to but they've seen the picture, they like the picture and now they want to do the nasty. Instagram my nigga!"
All jokes aside, Doley is the type of MC that relates to people in a raw and natural sense. Doley's focus has always been to be himself no matter the situation or environment and he takes notice of other artists who try to create a perception for fans to buy into. Known to his friends and family in his neighborhood as Dolo, he was firmly against changing his name. With additional inspiration from Edward Bernays (Austrian-American pioneer of public relations) Doley thought it only right to run with the new moniker of Doley Bernays.
"Edward Bernays wasn't someone who talked to people one on one, but by the millions he could move you. With the music that's basically what I'm here to do, I'm here to move millions with a song."
Hailing from the North Bronx or better known to him as the "Dark Side" Doley's initial push into music came from his friends and family providing him with the confidence to pursue his passion. Relying on their honesty and respect for his craft he decided that if his closest associates believed in him he had a chance to reach the next step.
Having a team today is key for any artist and from early on Doley understood the value of a crew. During his early days as a rapper in grade school, a childhood friend linked Doley with fellow Bronx rapper Euro League. Euro was impressed with Doley's lyrical ability and brought him to his producer "MP" Williams. The three had a mutual respect for one another and decided to form Reelife.
"When I met MP, he was making real music and I was like yo I gotta get down with this. I'm trying to get on these beats. At first he (MP) was hesitant because he's a perfectionist, but over time he was like," Yeah you got what it takes to get on these (beats).""
Doley has been working hard the past few years and has begun to see the benefits of his grind. With recent support from popular online outlets like Spin Magazine, XXL and many others, Doley is beginning to understand his direction, fan base, and market.
"My lane and who I'm making music for I feel could be two separate things. Who I'm making music for ... on the real, are (the) people in my hood who told me I was hot. I was rapping in my hood before anything and they told me you got bars! They were hyping me and they built that ego. I can go out and spit anywhere and know I'll be good. Ain't no stopping me. I'm hungry and I won't be boxed in!"
Keep an ear out for his upcoming EP, Just In Case which will be dropping this June.

Growing up in todays society leaves little room for young men to express themselves or a means to deal with everyday life. Euro turned to writing at a young age in order to channel his frustrations and quickly realized he had a talent. A talent to nurture and a talent to build upon. Instead of vieweing his opportunity selfishly, Euro understood he had an obligation not only to himself but also to his closest family and friends who were his initial support.
"It was just an outlet to speak my mind. I had a lot of things going on (and) a lot of pain I was feeling mentally. I aint have no way to express that. Once I got into writing everything out I just felt like that was my talent. Doing music gives me something to prove and I don't want to let people down if they see I have this talent."
Euro League has set himself apart with his lyrical delivery, but it's his understanding of his position as an indie artist that is extremely valuable. There's no radio budget, advertising support or major label push, and everything is done by him and his team. His ever-present partner in crime is producer, MP Williams who has been equally on the rise producing for the Reelife collective as well the "Ghetto Symphony" track for A$AP Rocky's debut LP, LONG.LIVE.A$AP.
Chasing the dream of being an artist is never easy but compounded with paying bills and other typical obligations the strongest person can be easily discouraged. However, Euro is undaunted and moves forward daily with a confidence that relies strictly on his talent and desire for better and perhaps an eventual rap perfection.
As Euro details, "Man it's hard work cause everything is done by you, and then you realize that you have priorities that you still have to take care of... You do sacrifice things at home with family and (spending) time with people that you really care about. It's about perserverance, once you start to see that its possible you just keep going for it."
In the past few months Euro has been honored with repeated appearances on a host of blogs and major media outlets covering his music and most usually a team directed music video. Most notably was his release of his single "Social Network" featuring Bronx comrade, Denzil Porter which definitely made some waves and creatively detailed the addictive use, posturing, and collective craze with social sharing platforms.
Look out for his EP "Euro Trip Continuum" coming late Summer.

Hailing from New Jersey, the H'z (Da$h and Retch) have a hardcore sound reminiscent of popular artist like Mobb Deep, Planet Asia or even The Clipse. Their 2012 "La Cienega" project created waves and they have amassed memorable features on projects from A$ton Matthews, Chuck Inglish and the A$AP Mob have set them further apart and established their reputation for making gritty 90's inspired music.
Da$h reflects on what comparisons he feels best apply to them.
"If I was to have to compare ourselves to The Clipse or Mobb Deep, I would definitely say Mobb Deep. The way they were recognized and the way their presence was felt when they came into the game. They knew they were young but they knew they were ahead of everyone else."
As nephew of famed rap mogul, Dame Dash, young Da$h rarely if at all uses that to try and boost his persona and entre into the game. He's worked to develop his music and career largely on his own with help from key people like his brother, Stevie B and the young music guru A$AP Yams. With such a powerful affiliation, people began to take notice to what the young Heirs had to say.
"I know a lot of people see me with the A$AP Mob, Yams hit me up because he wanted to make sure I was on the Mob tape. The first song I did was Jay Reed with me and 12vy. That shit was fire you feel me, I fit right in where I was supposed to..."
Degenerates or not it takes disicpline and a consistent focus to make music, shoot videos, and develop the right relationships in order to be successful in the game. Retch, the self proclaimed "Lo God" has watched closely and maintains a firm understanding of what he and Da$h have to do to reach the next level.
"The secret to being a successful delinquent is being able to channel your past endeavors to your future accolades and being able to turn that into a business sense going into something as a grown man."
Everyone has a different recording process and of course Da$h and Retch are no different. Working closely with the talented Mordeci beats as well as classic sessions with the legendary beatsmith, The Alchemist has afforded the duo ample time to craft their sound. Da$h gives us some insight on exactly how he and his partner mesh in the studio.
"Me and Retch, the reason we collaborate so well is because that's really my mans. If we're in a room and a beat comes on we don't really have to talk about what were gonna rap about, our shit is still gonna come together bread and butter everytime"

To start it off, does anybody really believe Ray J hit her first? Doubt it; the "home movie" showed some experience for sure. But to put out that song now is lower than dirt, ... but, it's also one of those moves that keeps Ray J relevant and talked about in this game. Pay attention.
And if Ricky Rozay didn't have enough problems with semi-auto attempts on his life, repeated seizures, cancelled concerts, and other major issues, Ross has now been dropped from Reebok for suggestively detailing a rape scenario in his appearance on the Rocko single, "U.N.E.N.O." Womens' groups and concerned persons participated in protests and petition based campaigns that shuddered Reebok's flagship NYC store and eventually drove Reebok to their final decision.
The streets never stop watching Jay-Z the rapper, agent, money man, and personal friend of the POTUS. Jay has become so presidential that he traveled to Cuba for a cultural exploration of cigars and a coincidental celebration of his 5th anniversary accompanied by a few dozen other associates and family. News of the Carters' travel apparently angered many which prompted Shawn to turn into Jay and retort with an overnight record titled "Open Letter" produced by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland -- lotta money in that room.
