Yes, one of the prototypes from my collection appears to be an unknown later build of "Road Riot 4WD" for the Sega Genesis. It was an arcade game by Atari that was ported to the Super Nintendo. This build was in development for the Genesis and looks near complete but was never commercially released. There exists another build out there dated 1992 but this one is dated 7-19-1993, making it a later build.

It checks out as the retail "Gley Lancer", a fantastic shoot 'em up both rare and expensive. I dive into the story and speculate that it could have been a sample, demo or gift sent to someone here in California due to the scenario that someone destroying a retail MegaDrive copy to play on a North American Genesis being unlikely. It's definitely a retail PCB and ROM chip on the board, but it still doesn't answer the question of how it ended up taking the place of a development ROM board. For all those years, people didn't know a way into the hangar and now it's quickly and easily possible with no mods, no skulls, and very little skill.

Also, I disabled the "attract" intro video from playing which I will show in a future tutorial.

There is also a mysterious blue cube in the bottom corner of the map, possibly having something to do with the graphics in the cutscene maybe?Halo 2 Mod - Cairo Station Flying A Pelican Ludicrous SpeedDrBizz2021-10-09 | Ludicrous Speed...GO!!!Halo 2 Mod - High Charity Unused Area Exploration (Structure BSP #8)DrBizz2021-09-16 | This video is a mod to go inside an additional unused structure BSP area during High Charity and explore. In addition to the famous cut warthog run area, there was also this area where it appears Bungie started to place dead enemies and weapons on the ground, but it seems they changed their minds and went another route, using the BSP known in the final build. Many components are the same in regards to structure like the prophets private quarters, "inner sanctum". In the game code I found a volume trigger that would have loaded to exit out of it to the next area. This area happens to be the exact same BSP used during the Sacred Icon intro cutscne as well! I explore the hidden room behind the wall in the main circular room (thanks to Harc for the tip for this!) and I also found a platform outside the walls of the normal area in the void. This area screams BETA and unfinished, a strange find indeed.
In the High Charity map files the BSP is called "forerunnership\high_8".Halo 2 Mod - Sacred Icon Cutscene Area Mystery Gravity Throne & ExplorationDrBizz2021-09-09 | I loaded into the Sacred Icon intro cinematic BSP area to explore and there is a gravity throne sitting in the main circular room where the Prophets talk with the Arbiter. Also I did a tour with the throne to explore and uncover a larger amount of the structure not used or seen during the cutscene. Enjoy!Halo 2 Mod - High Charity Warthog Run Area ExplorationDrBizz2021-09-06 | An in-depth look into the famous cut warthog run area on High Charity. I explore on foot and with other vehicles including a suped up gravity throne. The structure BSP for the area normally exists in the game code but there is no trigger to load it. My work around for this was to alter the volume trigger hit in the first grav lift to change the BSP to the warthog one, and then change the X,Y,Z coordinates for the teleportation to be at the spot it appears the warthog run would have started.Halo 2 Mod - Outskirts Intro Cinematic City Streets ExplorationDrBizz2021-09-03 | Exploring the streets of Old Mombasa with mods. I change the starting location to be in the map and also change which map is loading when the level starts. This map and the intro map where the pelicans fly over the city are stacked on top of each other and actually part of the same BSP. I looked for the REX sword easter egg but it isn't there, the buildings are just the same geometry.Halo 2 Mod - Flying A Pelican Outskirts Cinematic Intro Map BSPDrBizz2021-08-31 | This video contains 4 mods to make this possible. Changing the magnum's projectile to be the pelican, changing the pelican itself so Master Chief can fly it, changing the X,Y,Z coordinates of the starting location to be in the BSP structure, and changing the BSP structure that loads when you start the level.

Make sure you always end on pressing UP or else you will get stuck in a ball inside the map! Press jump to lift the screen to follow you. Once you reach the top you are trapped in a closed space above the room.MCC: Halo 2 - Gravemind - No In Amber Clad Overload GlitchDrBizz2020-07-06 | Simple overload trick here, In Amber Clad won't show up or you only get the slip space rupture graphic if the available amount of RAM is correct. The ability to block the respawn location seems to be completely unknown by anyone, and the experiments with the dead and alive led me to discover so much more. Hope you enjoy!MCC: Halo 2 - Uprising - Playing As A Brute Tutorial AUPDrBizz2020-05-28 | A tutorial on how to play as a brute on Uprising using the AUP (Arbitrary Unit Possession) glitch.MCC: Halo 2 - Dead & Alive Glitch Tutorial on UprisingDrBizz2020-04-10 | Here it is, a technical explanation of the mysterious and elusive "dead and alive" glitch seen only with extremely rare examples early on in Halo 2's release over 15 years ago. I reproduced it on Great Journey and with Harc The Shark and LDG's help, we have come to understand it with great depth.
When the game respawns a player in co-op, an invisible pre-loaded "biped" is placed in a certain location on the map we've called the "default spawn location" and then instantly teleported to the living player for eventual respawn and normal gameplay. What happens when the preloaded player is killed is interesting, the game has already decided to place the player control into that biped so even when it has died, the player's control is put into it anyway and you end up being alive in a dead body.
The reason understanding this glitch was so sought after is because your partner can respawn with the dead and alive player, so the corpse can be moved to many normally unreachable and inaccessible areas for exploration and fun. Sputnik, Black Eye, Feather and Bandana are great skulls to add playing on MCC to get checkpoints with the dead and alive player, and add the ability to launch and move him far and wide.
Many of my older videos show using this glitch to explore new and impossible places. Stay tuned for more interesting effects with the physics of respawning, and more tutorials for creating the dead and alive for yourself!MCC: Halo 2 - Playing As Sergeant Johnson on Cairo Station AUPDrBizz2020-03-22 | With Harc's help, I was able to setup an AUP to become Sergeant Johnson on Cairo Station. Some very bizarre effects with this, being able to be smashed into the geometry or "void" of the station by the MAC gun loader, only to remain alive and stuck forever. He's impervious to kill volumes or the fall death as well of course, so the exploration is literally limitless. I also found some strange animation glitches and that Sarge can hold 4 weapons at once. What else can you say...being Sarge is AWESOME!

Music by Primus "Hamburger Train" and "Pork Chop's Little Ditty"MCC: Halo 2 - Cairo Station - Playing As A Bugger AUPDrBizz2020-02-08 | Cool accomplishment to be the bugger (Drone) inside the lift room on Cairo Station, but unfortunately it will deload when you exit the room, leaving it impossible for now to freely fly around in space outside the station. Very special thanks to LDG for predicting a long time ago that overloading to stop anything from loading might make the AUP possible farther in the levels. That definitely works.MCC: Halo 2 - Playing As A Sentinel Tutorial on Sacred Icon AUPDrBizz2020-01-26 | One of the early ideas I had once the AUP was discovered and I was finally able to do it, and here is the updated tutorial for a solid method of becoming a sentinel on Sacred Icon without mods!
Here are some tips for the setup. Skulls used are Sputnik, Black Eye, Bandana and Boom. Do everything as quickly as you can. Make sure the dead Arbiter bodies do not fall of the ledge at any point. Don't blow up the sentinel factories when you kill the sentinel and yourself. At the start, blow up all 3 of the constructors that shoot BEFORE they shoot with one well placed frag grenade. Next grenade needs to take out the grunt before he starts shooting. Switch to a plasma and grenade jump into the pinch spot. With the other player, stick the next sentinel that spawns without it shooting at you and make sure you die with it in the ensuing explosion. Use active camo so it's easier. Restart once the pinch is set BEFORE the 2nd sentinel spawns. On the second session, repeat setups 1 and 2. Throw the plasma in the corner to keep the object count consistent and wait for the first sentinel. Stick the sentinel and die in the explosion again. Now, have the living player delay the partner respawn by jumping and melee. When you hear the second sentinel spawn, stop the delay and if done correctly you'll possess the sentinel.MCC: Halo 2 - Playing As A Sentinel on Sacred Icon AUPDrBizz2020-01-20 | Here is a fun video I made with my setup to spawn as a Sentinel right at the beginning of Sacred Icon and explore the map. The Sentinel deloads unfortunately after the gondola has been activated and it seems to be a scripted "garbage cleanup" that's impossible to get around. The first clip is a raw take of the setup and spawning as the Sentinel first try. I can work on a more detailed tutorial if people want.
