There was a 2015 version of OLDTV. You all played the remake, in July 2017. FromFame 2024-02-10 | I was going down memory lane and found footage of OLDTV from a build none of you played, that has a vibe that is a little different, a little moodier.This OLDTV was purely coded by me on a visual scripting tool. For some reason, apple wasn't accepting this build. And instead of fixing the bugs like a normal person, I hired Jawad to entirely code the remake and I focused on just game design, animation, and audio. Pushing me out of any programming made the remake cleaner, but, bare by comparison.2017 OLDTV was the first time I learnt how to work with another coder, and as we can see it sacrificed a lot of it's vibe. Today, I've gotten better at ensuring vibes are maxed out while working with some crazy talented co-programmers.Infact, it was only when I asked Liviu, BACKOFSPACE's co-programmer, to take a break as I didn't have enough funding. Did I end up having the space to take complete control of the project without worrying about delegating tasks and made TKV what it is. Reinventing BACKOFSPACE, all over again.I've lived up to how I saw making games originally when I almost lost what made my work unique while incorporating and scaling, and I hope I not only hang on, but transcend to new levels of immersion.Just how delicate is this?
