When I last drove through the old section of Johnson City it was a great deal closer to a ghost town than it was on this visit. It seemed like every block had major construction, but before in years past it resembled more of downtown of 100 years ago rather than what it looks like today. On this visit people where everywhere and major updates were happening on every block. Almost every building dates back to the 1930's or before and they were so well made that almost all stand true and tall.

The Borden family had a long past with the town of Fall River, but the most infamous member of their family was Lizzie, who was accused for the deaths of her parents. She was ostracized from the community but continued to live in Fall River for many years, and was buried in the Oak Grove cemetery in town. We will visit her house, the site of the infamous axe murders, and also see her grave and the beautiful cemetery in which she lies, and then head off towards the next town which is Providence, Rhode Island!
