Silverstreet, SC Thunderbolt 1003 Nthuziast 2025-08-03 | 2 August, 2025today originally started out as a trip to SC Siren Meet, which would've been my first ever siren convention. but SOMEHOW, after leaving with an HOUR to spare, we lost an hour and a half. i legit don't know how this happens gang. after arriving a full 45 minutes late, we got word from someone tending the property that they'd went down to silverstreet for hotdogs, and they were supposedly gonna set off the thunderbolt. i was also told the county wouldn't let them sound their sirens past half past noon, sooo...SCUFF. pure SCUFF. what you see is exactly what happened in all its unscripted glory. but hey, if nothing else, i got this recording. my first siren recording. hoping to get more in the future.all in all, the thunderbolt at ~300 ft away was about 117 decibels according to my phone, which lines up with the inverse square law.p.s. you are absolutely welcome to use this for a sparta remix or something of the like. just don't reupload it for the sake of uploading it or stealing fame.
