As some of you know, I'm a huge fan of Brett Gordon's YA-DOS and Michael Furman's pyDriveWire. I wanted to create something to share with the Coco community that uses both products.
I've created a Coco compatible hard drive image that contains over 3,000 virtual floppy disks. All of the disk images are provided by Guillaume Major's excellent TRS-80 Color Computer Archive website.

In the demo you will see a TRS-80 Color Computer 3 with 512K, a Multi-Pak interface with a Cloud-9 miniFLASH cart and a Glenside IDE controller with a CF to IDE adapter. The Coco boots up with HDB-DOS. A headless, Raspberry Pi 3 serves up Drivewire 4 which allows me to load a virtual floppy disk image of John's Cocovid player. The videos in the demo are stored on the CF card and streamed on the Coco via the Cocovid player.
There are other configurations that will work, but you will need an IDE based controller card (Glenside or Cloud-9's SuperIDE) in order to play videos as John's Cocovid player is written and optimized for use on either of those 2 cards. I'm hoping (hint, hint) that John will port his Cocovid player to the CoCoSDC to give fellow Coco users another mass storage option.
