Rénovation de deux bateaux-porte par John Cockerill Services sur le Grand Port Maritime de Marseille John Cockerill 2023-11-24 | Les équipes de John Cockerill Services dans le Sud de la France ont relevé un défi, ou plutôt deux, et pas des moindres : la rénovation de deux bateaux-porte confiée par le Grand Port Maritime de Marseille - Port de Marseille Fos.C’est une équipe de choc qui a procédé, dans le délai imparti de 8 semaines, à ces travaux d’envergure : remise en état de la coque et de la structure après expertise puis remplacement des systèmes d’étanchéité et enfin, la dernière étape de traitement anti-corrosion de la coque effectuée par notre partenaire. Ils ont également pu compter sur le savoir-faire des équipes de l’atelier basé au GPMM pour la réalisation de toute la partie mécanique.Quelques chiffres : 1000 tonnes pour le plus gros des deux bateaux-porte, 70 tonnes de structures métalliques remplacées notamment sur les parois étanches mais aussi 180ml de joint d’étanchéité remplacés par un système innovant et plus fiable, 25T de bois, 300 anodes et enfin plus de 2000m² de surface de peinture reprise.La rénovation d’un bateau-porte n’est pas une première pour nos équipes, mais deux simultanément voilà qui a pimenté ce challenge, relevé avec succès.
