48 hours in Tuolumne… it didn’t go as planned. | Yosemite Rock Climbing Cody and Victoria 2023-10-12 | We took a short trip to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park to do some rock climbing and camp in our newly built van. With endless, massive domes to choose from, our first objective was West Crack on Daff Dome. A 5.9, 5 pitch route and a good introduction to Toulumne climbing. Almost a century ago, Mount Whitney was climbed with ropes for the first time and since then, climbers from all over the world have come to put their skills to the test. After a heinous hike on the North Fork Lone Pine Creek trail and experiencing mild altitude sickness, we set up base camp directly below Mount Whitney as we built up the courage to get to the top. La Peña: Climbing the tallest freestanding rock in the world | Bernal Mexico pt 2 Cody and Victoria 2023-04-02 | Just 3 hours north of Mexico City, lies a quaint little village called Bernal in Queretaro, Mexico. Angels Landing isn’t that hard…and other Zion activities | Zion National Park Cody and Victoria 2022-12-06 | After spending Thanksgiving with our families, we packed up the van again and hit the road heading towards Zion National Park! With sandstone mountains towering over an emerald colored river and plants ranging from pine trees to cacti, this park quickly exceeded all of our expectations! We went hiking on as many trails as we could and luckily, we scored some permits for the infamous Angels Landing trail! We even had time to squeeze in a little rock climbing too ;) Honestly, we never had any plans or intentions on visiting Zion National Park but we’re so glad that we did and recommend that you do too! The End of Our Journey North: Glacier National Park Cody and Victoria 2022-09-30 | Glacier National Park is one of those places that you have to see to believe! Epic mountains in every direction, vast landscapes, and endless hiking trails to get you out there - this park was everything that we’ve been looking for since traveling in our van! Hiking to an overlook at Hidden Lake was the highlight of our trip but backpacking and camping at the infamously blue Cracker Lake was a close second. We could have spent a lifetime out there but unfortunately this marks the end of our journey north...for now. I think that was the hottest day of my life. Cody and Victoria 2022-09-07 | Leavenworth, Washington has been a place we've wanted to visit ever since we started roaming around in our van. Big Mountains, Great Rock Climbing, and Amazing Views in every direction! What we didn't expect was 100 degree temperatures...
