Notes: - Most Mesoamerican dates at this time are estimates. - While most city-states are shown, that does not mean all settlements are shown. - While some people believe Teotihuacan built an empire all the way to Guatemala, most modern historians do not believe they ever conquered any of the Maya, only established economic connections with the elites. The group that overthrew Tikal and Copan was a warlord of Teotihuacano descent but not representing Teotihuacan itself.

Notes: - The Balkan acquisitions after the Treaty of London were never officially partitioned until the Treaty of Bucharest. I also did not show Bulgaria's positions until the 29th of June because they were jointly occupying some areas with the Greeks during the pre-war clashes on the 26th. - A couple of online maps seemed to claim that Romania took the cities of Pleven and Pazardzhik during the Second Balkan War. However most maps do not show this and no source mentioned such city captures or campaigns. Pleven was the headquarters of one of Bulgaria's army groups so it seemed hard to believe this supposed event happened without any professional source mentioning it, so I didn't include it.

Notes: - Disputed borders are compromised. Most wars are not shown. - Legal abolition of something does not mean the problem is eliminated entirely. - Voting rights are not the same as free and fair elections. - The indigenous boarding schools are indicated during times attendance was federally mandated. Some US states had schools that were gone by the time it was mandated. - Near-universal suffrage means that there are still things like literary tests or poll taxes still in place even if no class is banned from voting. - Gender change ID laws in the US may be possible for some IDs but not others depending on state.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. The subdivisions shown represent the approximate territories of the main constituent tribes of the Wabanaki Confederacy. However, they did not have hard borders and at times overlapped territories in some areas. 2. The tribes of the Wabanaki Confederacy can be further divided into bands with their own leaders. Furthermore they existed before and after the Confederacy as their own entities. This video focuses specifically on the Confederacy. 3. Colonial expansion is shown by actual control and settlement rather than general claims. Some expansion is approximated from lack of precise information, but most of it is based on either settlement founding dates or land grants when more appropriate. 4. European control in the interior of Newfoundland for the Mi'qmac is based on a Peace and Friendship Treaty they signed in 1763, however the indigenous Beothuk on the island likely inhabited the northern interior until the 1820s. However they had no significant military or political control in the region to override the British, hence me showing British control after 1763.

IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Several sources have had contradictions due to either Aztec propaganda, Spanish propaganda, or simply guesswork from lack of information. I had to make a few educated guesses for this video because of this. 2. The provinces were more like organized tributary groups and so the borders should not be seen as hard borders in most cases. There are also disputes onto how to accurately show administration in the alliance member territories as well. 3. Some rebellions or military events occur but end in the same year, which means they won't show up. 4. Despite several maps showing this, the Aztecs never fully controlled the isthmus of Tehuantepec. They did occasionally send their military there during wars and certainly had influence over the trade networks, but never controlled it outside of Soconosco. 5. There were multiple rebellions in Soconosco and while we have evidence of Montezuma II suppressing the 1505 one, I could not find one of him suppressing the 1510 one. It’s possible he could have reconquered the region afterwards but I didn’t find anything confirming it.
