When you're creating, you have choices. The criteria you use to make those choices plays a big role in what you create. This could be a deeply philosophical topic, but it's not here. What drove my choices in this art journal was how to avoid cleaning. There was one little spot where I didn't mind the cleaning- blotting off the stencil- that never feels like cleaning but it does get the excess paint off the stencil. I didn’t have enough Transferiez solution on that purple one but that photo isn’t ruined! Those white spots are a great place to grab some paint and add more color! I love the imperfect ones because they can be even more fun to add into an art journal or mix into a collage which is what I'll be doing with these.The paper I started with was a brayer clean up paper from gel printing and I’m using the @InkAid1 image transfer process. Use Your Gel Prints with Stencils Carolyn Dube 2022-07-01 | What can you do with all those gel prints you’ve made? Even the ugly ones? Adding the stenciling can really shift how they look! Coloring Inside the Lines the Easy Way Carolyn Dube 2022-02-11 | Neat and tidy coloring inside the lines isn't something you see me do very often but when I do it, I'm not really staying in the lines very carefully. Gel Printing with a Mask Carolyn Dube 2021-12-10 | What can you do with gel prints from your stash that don’t feel finished but you’re not sure what to add next? Use a mask to add a layer!
