#JUNK JOURNAL from 1847 BOOK LILRHONDALEE 2022-07-12 | Hi-This is a junk journal made by recycling an old antique hard cover book dated 1847. Inside, I've added authentic vintage and antique ephemera, as well as coffee stained and avocado stained papers, then baked them in the oven to make them crisp. On the deckled edges of some pages, I've embellished them with bulb pins that have Lapis chips, and foiled leaves dangling from them. I bound this book using the Cinch binding method, and added a simple hitch post and elastic closure. A modest beaded charm dangles from the wires on the spine, and lastly, a metal bookplate displays the title, "Compendium".Thank you for watching, commenting, liking, and subscribing! Home garden tour in Cali LILRHONDALEE 2022-06-01 | Hello crafty friends!This is a short video showing my front and back yard landscaping. All of it was planted by my husband and I over the years, including the tall palm trees, which were only 5 ft. tall when we planted them about 10 yrs. ago. We are in the process of cutting things back, weeding, and repotting. It is a lot to keep up and maintain...especially when you become a senior! But, it is worth it, as we really enjoy spending time in our garden, and seeing the fruits of our labor.
