Second ball Lillipup and triple static Elesa did me no favors, along with the various Fake Outs/Take Down Miss did me no favors, but a clutch end game let me bring it back home. I'll keep grinding and let you know.This run had a very good start, but things started falling apart on Burgh and hitting a spinner on Elesa did me no favors. The biggest timeloss in this run though was a lot of the things you don't bank on having to do unless you get bad fights, like not healing after Elesa unless you get paralyzed by the second Emolga or having to heal double burn on Shauntal. I lost about 40 seconds in the last N fight to forgetting Carracosta has Aqua Jet and that cost me a cozy 2nd place. Wasn't going to be satisfied with this run even if I got the ~3:10:50 I was expecting to get. The early game was pretty rough with how many turns I lost to missing Take Down, Detect, general BS, etc. Hoping to close this category out quickly given how many runs I've been able to get on decent pace lately. Pokemon White 2 Any% in 3:10:27 TTS4life 2023-07-02 | Well I certainly did not expect to get this right off the cusp of achieving 3:11, but certainly welcome! This run had a similar start to my 3:11, but caught Drilbur first ball this time which really started to give this run momentum. Clay was a devastating split between a bad Watchog and not getting the flinch on Sandslash. However my Skyla split was really good to make up for it and brought the momentum back. Follow that up with a community best E4 and somehow I scrape out a 3:10. Really happy to start bringing my PB down to times I feel I deserve for the amount of effort and grinding I’ve put in. Pokemon White 2 Any% in 3:11:28 TTS4life 2023-06-27 | It's been a minute since I got a PB in this category. Lots of work has gone into improving since my last PB, but hadn't quite managed to string everything together into a cohesive run. I'm really happy to have it finally come together though.This run isn't the greatest quality, a bit of a lukewarm start, especially with a second ball Drilbur. Things started to pick up in the mid game, where I had only 1 static early on in Elesa's gym and a really good Clay split that made a low 3:10 look achievable. However, the Skyla split came in and ruined all the fun and set me back quite a ways. Add a rough Marlon segment, some late game golds, a wild and wacky Marshall fight, and an unfortunate critical hit on the Iris fight and here we are with a mid 3:11 instead. Pokemon White 2 Any% Speedrun in 3:12:28 TTS4life 2023-02-20 | Spent the last week or so working on new manips, even though I had just found a new one, because I wasn't satisfied with my manip. For starters, the movement was not much better than what I had before and Drilbur had a tendency to use Mud-Slap, which is not good if you wan to catch it easily (You want it to go for Metal Claw or, in my case with these new manips, Fury Swipes). These new manips are much better for me to execute. And, I get to be one of (if not) the first to use the bike to manip Drilbur (with ease too!). This run was meant to be a test drive of my new manips (and the bike for the meme) and even though I didn't save a ton of time this run with it due to a small misplay on Cheren, I'm really excited to grind this down further with my new manips. Pokemon Platinum Kazza Alt Route Race in 5:31:50 TTS4life 2023-01-30 | A few of us in the DS PSR Community came up with the brilliant idea of doing a race of Pokemon Platinum where we trade for the Abra in Oreburgh City after getting our second badge to get sweep the game. This is not the fastest strategy to get through the game by a long shot, this was more of a challenge speedrun. Runs and a route do exist for this category, which we all used. However, the route is very difficult due to the possibility of Kazza overlevelling before Maylene, leading to disobedience. I ended up second in the race, due to two others quitting the race due to frustration/accidentally turning off their console, and another being walled by disobedience at Maylene. Overall this race was very cursed. Apologies for any audio issues. You cannot get Two Waveguns on Moon via the QED (Read Description) TTS4life 2023-01-24 | The QEDs on Moon have a lot of different results that can happen when you throw them. One of the more common ones is the random weapon powerup, which awards you with a random weapon, and a 25% chance of that weapon being upgraded. However, the weapon that you are able to get isn't *truly* random. The QEDs happen to use the same logic as the Mystery Box to determine which weapons the QED can obtain. So, whatever weapons are available in the box at the instance the QED was thrown is what you can obtain, keeping in mind there can only exist 1 Wave Gun, and the game WILL check other boxes and the Pack-A-Punch machine to make sure it isn't accidentally giving a second Wave Gun (this can be bypassed by other means, see: Any TheRelaxingEnd video circa 2013 about double Ray Guns or Thunderguns in BO1)However, the keen eyed of you may have read that and wondered how we got QEDs from the QEDs then in the video. I myself had to do research immediately after recording this video to understand it myself. Essentially, when the box calls the logic to present the player a weapon, the box tells the function the person who activated it so the function can check your inventory and prevent itself from giving you a weapon or equipment you already have. However, when the QEDs call the box logic, they do not provide the function the player who threw it, so the came cannot perform that check, and thus you can get QEDs even though you're already holding them.There DOES exist a nice case where you *Could* get the Wave Guns from both the box and QEDs. However, in order for that case to happen, you have to:- Get a random weapon power up to spawn (not likely)- Have it be the Wave Gun ( 1 / 18 )- Have the powerup be upgraded (25% chance)- Immediately get it from the box. ( 1 / # of weapons you can get from the box)The rough odds of this happening is around .07% for this specific event to occur AFTER the QED decides to give you a random weapon powerup. The odds of a Random Weapon powerup occurring is not included in this statistic, but would only make the case even rarer. In coop, if Player 2 is to pick up the Wave gun and Player 1 is to get it form the box at the same time, removing the need for it to be upgraded, the odds are much better at 0.3%. For reference, to get the Wave Gun out of a single box hit would be ~5%.Hopefully this puts to rest any myths that you can receive a second Wave Gun form the QEDs. While yes, you can receive the Wave Gun form the QEDs, and yes, you could receive two Wave Guns via other means, simply chucking QEDs for hours will not magically give you a second Wave Gun. HGSS Glitchless Manipless Community Fastest Falkner (24:21) TTS4life 2023-01-14 | The beginning of HGSS Glitchless Manipless is pretty volatile, due to the lack of RNG manipulation and the sheer amount of grass you have to go through before you can get repels and due to some obnoxious fights (Hoothoot likes to use Hypnosis and Pidgeotto is 50/50 to Roost if not at full). In this run, I had only 1 extra encounter, and had useful Critical Hits on 2 Bellsprout in Sprout Tower, a Critical Hit on Hoothoot, and a blaze Critical Hit on Pidgeotto. This is the fastest run to Falkner to date across all runners (that me and a few others from PSR have seen) (and no, this did not PB/WR. Ceiling Spawns in Black Ops Zombies | A Code Analysis TTS4life 2022-01-18 | This is how the ceiling spawns work in Black Ops Zombies and what leads to the ceiling spawns glitching out and preventing zombies from spawning. The ceiling spawns has been an on-and-off debate in the high round zombies community for well over half a decade now and I figured I would explain in code what conditions cause the ceiling spawns to stop spawning zombies. If you're interested in learning how other mechanics work down to the code level in Black Ops I/II, I might do a video on it if people are interested enough. I've spent a lot of time reading through the codebase already so have a pretty decent idea of what's going on in most cases.

Kappa.This is the first WR to incorporate the 2.5 strategy into a game. 2.5 is where instead of doing the normal top floor strategy where you kill 2 hordes per electric trap, you instead kill an extra half horde at the QR trap by standing on the Olympia side, killing zombies from the two windows by the QR machine. You then carry on as normal, but getting the respawners under control in the MPL hallway requires a bit of practice. I ran this strategy consistently up to about Round 130, where I then switched to the normal strat for the rest of the game. You can use 2.5 beyond instas, but I chose not to because I already had 2 downs and was faster than WR, which was my only goal. This record is easily beatable if you choose to do 2.5 after instas, get better missed instas luck, or even do the more advanced strats beyond 2.5 that were also recently discovered (2.5+3.0)I started grinding for WR in December when 2.5 was created by the always-godly 5and5. Once I got the hang of it I just went for PBs and kept setting them up until 191. Simple thing to do. I didn't say it in the video but to revert the change just put the common_zombie_patch.ff file that you backed up back in there, but that should've been self explanatory.If you didn't back it up though you can right click on Black Ops on steam, go to properties, local files, and verify integrity. This will give you vanilla Black ops as if you just installed it.

Revelations Round 40 Crash TTS4life 2016-09-07 | Strat itself seems solid. Don't know why I crashed like that. Seems that the zombies left their body and became invisible similar to Ascension's Centerfuge in spawn. Would've preferred Speed Cola instead of deadshot. Just kinda SOL if you get Deadshot or Double tap from free perks, no clue if either perk bottles are also slots.As for the helmet thing, Jugg is fine unless you don't get stam, then go for stam helmet. If you wanna be conservative with TGun and Squid gun with this strat Mule Kick and Dead Wiring the nearby KN-44 helps. You can get widows back if zombies hit you through the window from DW.
