Provo Park 1969 Fred Fischer 2014-01-21 | This is 16mm film shot by my father at a Provo Park free concert in 1969.Provo Park is located in Berkeley CA across the street from Berkeley High School and was the site of many free concerts in the late 60's (see http://berkeleyfolk.blogspot.com/2010/07/provo-park-berkeley-concerts-1967-69.html)The main subject of the film is the people at the concert. I love the clothes, hair, looks. I was not able to identify the band from the film, but perhaps one of you can, or maybe you'll even see yourself... please leave a comment if you do!The music is Hello Sunlight by the Sons of Champlin from their 1969 album, Loosen Up Naturally.
