Skateboard progression 9/17 mastering the basics Ashliveslife 2026-09-18 | I am so back, feeling more confident on the skateboard than I have since highschool before I got sick. today I spent drilling the mini ramp and re learning ollieing into a bank. and just focusing on footwork. still feel I'm a better skater than a walker though. so hyped to be on the board. the most free feeling in the world for me. I skate for me now, and I am progressing for my progressions sake. no more hucking the board and seeing if I can do crazy drops or a drop in on 9 and 13 ft ramps but maybe one day. right now I gotta remaster the basics. I skate with Fibromyalgia, nerve pain, and bad back, i never thought I'd skate oard again but here I am overcoming it all one session at a time. thankfully I've got a great team behind me keeping me on the mend and keeping me motivated.

Skating Through The Hard Days Ashliveslife 2026-09-12 | This disease has taken its toll and taken many days from skateboarding. truthfully I never thought I'd be able to skateboard again. At the age of 30 I am taking my life back, the last 3 years has been a non stop gauntlet of recovery. 3 years ago I thought thought I was dying. the pain I've been through is wicked. I stopped skateboarding, I started gaming and drinking to numb the pain. I sat away and atrophied for over 8 years before I finally got a diagnosis and some proper help. I got sober, been through numerous rounds of physical therapy and moved across the country to a much better climate, I feel I've got a very good chance at a somewhat happy life now. I will not stop skating. being active and living my best life. The past few weeks as said in the video have been extra rough but it's nothing I haven't been through before and I'm only stronger than I've been in over half my life. just a serious video for disability awareness. you are not alone, your valid, and don't give up no matter how dark things may seem. the darkest shadows are followed by the brightest peaks

Ashliveslife 2026-08-12 | 180 on a quarter. the last trick I learned before I had to hang up the board due to a losing battle with chronic pain. Finally I am taking my life back. One day at a time, one push at a time, one breath at a time. I am alive. I still hurt like hell and think I skate better than I walk now but through pushing through it, never stopping my physical rehabilitation I am without a doubt near the best condition of my in over a decade and a half and I have zero intent of stopping or even slowing down. Warship Episode 6 Full Steam Ahead, fully operational Ashliveslife 2026-07-15 | The wait is over, the top deck is complete. This episode is my heaviest episode yet from fixing almost all the farms that have broken over time, or I just built plain wrong, oopsie, to completing the top deck and the back of the "Command center" as I so said confidently incorrect, finishing the back of the bridge. skate Sesh 7/12 Getting Better Ashliveslife 2026-07-13 | I'm getting better, I'm nowhere near 100 percent but learning to skate with my disabilities is a feeling I never thought I'd ever get the chance to feel again. 4 years ago I could hardly walk up a flight of stairs, now back at the skatepark and genuinely feeling more confident with each ride.I ride with fibromyalgia, years ago it took me clear off the skating circuit, it robbed my quality of life and all I could do was play skate 3 and dream of riding again. over a decade went by going Dr to Dr, not one listened, I kept getting worse, I shut down, I isolated but I never gave up hope. finally one Dr listened and it changed everything, he heard me and genuinely got me on the right path. today I feel I'm in control again, my body feels rigid, my movements very mechanical, but damnit if this isn't the best I've felt since I was 18. I may never skate at the comfort level I did a decade ago but I'm riding for me now, for fun, for progression.
