They got hit by the weakened patron because they were still in the pit when it released its pulse wave. Abrams couldn't leave because he was still stunned by the parry, and Vindicta, because she really wanted to kill me with her snipe (which does extra damage when you're below half). I was lower than half health, but I guess she didn't fully charge the shot, or else I would have been dead. If Abrams hit me with that melee, then I would have died to the snipe (even though he was going full spirit, I didn't have juggernaut yet, everyone was at full boons, so his heavy melee still dealt well over 163 damage + he had spirit snatch which would have lowered my spirit resist, which would have likely made me die to snipe). Why was my staying alive, and Pocket being there, so important?If there is only one friendly player in the pit, the patron gains partial damage resistance - if there are two or more, the patron becomes invulnerable. Pocket respawning in 4 seconds combined with the perfectly timed pulse wave while they were trying to kill me/focus patron, and 2 of them dying saved the game - but if I died, only Pocket would have been left, they still would have been able to kill the patron because the next respawn was in 50 seconds, and they could have just focused the patron and finished it off.Why didn't Doorman ult me?Because he got hit by the second curse wave.Pocket was the real hero of the story, because if they didn't respawn in 4 seconds, we would have lost after any of the enemies got back into the pit after the first pulse wave ended, and even if I still managed to kill Abrams and Vindicta, any of the remaining 3 could just come back and shoot it. I also nearly threw thirsting for the Warden kill, and he saw the opportunity to go for patron, but luckily it all worked out.What rank is this, everyone sucks (including me)?This was a Phantom 4 game, so not a real game because apparently, only real games happen at Eternus 6. I think ranked matches can be very fun when your teammates actually communicate and have a pulse/frontal lobe (it is entertaining when you get a game when they're arguing, but you probably won't win).Also, their comp didn't have any abilities that were stuns/silences that take me out of Storm Cloud (ult) besides doorman/abrams ult or charge, so they needed to engage in the forbidden art of counterbuying, and since this wasn't an Eternus game, it didn't happen until a bit later.Why did you go up to the ceiling whenever you ulted off the zipline?There's a "feature" where your momentum is carried over from the zipline to your ult height if you ult within a second of getting off the zip, and it just shoots you very high up. It does take longer to get to the full area of effect of your ult though, since your ult spreads from where you are. Though since your ult area isn't a sphere, you don't lose any area by going up higher. COD Modern Doorfare 2022 Open Beta (Executions + Opinions) yoshiislaw 2022-09-26 | I liked it, but there are some little things that bothered me just like a beta normally should. First, what I meant by no quick attachments are stippled grip tapes, because the majority of the guns didn't have the option to speed up ads at all without slowing down your bullet velocity. I know there was no stock, but I like the look of my gun, so removing the stock makes it kind of ugly imo. When dead silence is activated there's a noise that plays (look it up), so if you are behind people they will instantly know you are behind them. The third one is a nitpick, but also I shouldn't have to create a perk package for every single combination, which is 5985 (which could be wrong but I think I did my math right). Since there are so many combinations, why not just let me choose them in individual slots - like pick 4 or something, not this "package" system, it's sluggish and it definitely needs a rework prelaunch.
