So today's recipe is for a cauliflower pizza crust. If you want something different, are on a keto diet, want something lighter or are staying away from carbs but still want pizza then this is a great crust to use. Cauliflower is so versatile and pretty much tastes like nothing so it works great as a replacement for a lot of things. It does contain a lot of water so be sure to squeeze out as much as possible. If you don't have a cheese cloth, a kitchen towel works fine. You can top with any toppings you like. If you freeze the crust, take it out of the freezer and right into your pre-heated oven (375 - 400) just until its warm then top and broil. Enjoy and I will catch you in the next one.
About 1.5 lbs cauliflower, riced 2 Tbsps grated parmesan cheese 2 Tbsps soft cheese or additional parmesan or Italian blend 1 small egg, beaten 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning 1/4 tsp salt

1lb ground meat 2 cups diced tomatoes, onions and bell peppers 1 egg 1/3 cup bread crumbs 1 tsp each Salt and pepper (or to taste) 1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp dried basil

I've been traveling and quite tired lately so I haven't cooked much. On this night I decided to make something quick and easy. On my way home I stopped at the store and picked up some wild caught salmon. I decided to serve it with a corn salad, check out the recipe for that (coming up next). It was so quick yet so very yummy. It's not hard to get that perfect crisp on your fish, just use the right amount of heat, be sure your pan is hot and don't disturb the fish until it's ready to be flipped. I cooked the salmon for a total of about 6 minutes. Keep in mind though that if you don't serve your fish quick enough it will start to lose the crispiness. My two pieces of salmon totalled just a tad bit over 1/2 pound. Enjoy and I'll catch you in the next one.
1/2lb Salmon 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste) 1/2 tsp black pepper 2-3 Tbsp oilBetter Than Takeout Beef and Broccoli / Homemade Beef and BroccoliJust Dee2018-08-02 | Hi fam! I feel like it's been a minute. I've been traveling so of course that means no cooking. I made this delicious peppered beef and broccoli in between travels. At this point, you know I always say I like color in my food and that's what inspired this take on classic beef and broccoli. I have mentioned previously that I eat beef only when sourced from our local farmers because it needs to be organic, grass fed and finished. You can use skirt steak or tenderloin sliced into thin strips. You can leave out the peppers if you just want the classic dish. Serve this over brown or white rice, quinoa, pasta or nothing π€£. Enjoy and I'll catch you next time.
3 Tbsps oil (your choice) About 1lb of broccoli cut, washed and blanched 1lb of sliced beef (tenderloin or skirt steak) cut into thin strips A mix of bell peppers (about 1/4 of each) cut into strips 1 medium onion cut into large pieces 2 cloves of garlic, pressed or finely chopped 1 Tbsp grated ginger 2 tsps crushed red pepper (to taste) 1 Tbsp organic corn starch 1 Tbsp black pepper (to taste) Toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Sauce: (mix together) 2 Tbsps dark sauce + 1 Tbsp regular soy sauce (or 3 Tbsp regular if you don't have dark) 1 Tbsp oyster sauce 1 Tbsp honey 1 Tbsp sesame oilNigerian Ogbono Soup (Bonus At The End)Just Dee2018-07-19 | This is one soup that might be an acquired taste. I didn't eat it growing up (at least not that I recall) so I don't eat it very often. This was my first time making it this year so I figured I better film it for you guys π€£. You can use meat only but I particularly like dried/smoked fish in this soup. As you will see, I sometimes add okra to the soup. You should already know that I like to know what I'm eating so I usually buy whole ingredients and grind them myself which is what I did with the ogbono seeds (well I didn't buy these, they were given to me lol). Enjoy and I'll catch you next time.
1/3 cup red palm oil 3/4 cup ground ogbono seeds 1 cup meat broth, warm 2 cups hot/warm water 2-3 tsp ground red pepper (or to taste) 1.5 tsp season all (to taste) 1.5 Tbsp ground crayfish Mixture of meats and dried fish 1 cup finely sliced spinach (optional)Grab and Go Breakfast - Overnight Oats (So Good)Just Dee2018-07-14 | Hope you are having a good weekend!!
