Here we are. A project that I started around the time Snubby was finished, and also a project that I never really thought I was gonna finish to be real with yall. But here it is at last: Hate Everything.

Out of all the solos that I have ever finished, this is the first I’ve done in 2.1 that wasn’t update restricted. All 3 of my last solo lvls were 1.6, and I was even gonna make a 1.9 lvl before I made a 2.1 lvl honestly. But something changed, and I got really inspired to make a 2.1 lvl instead.

Originally the layout was finished in June, and in all honesty I never really had intentions to decorate it. It was just a fun layout I made, and with most layouts I make I never intend to decorate them. But I decided to give this a shot back in August.

Now honestly in August the progress really wasn’t that substantial lmao. It took me a while to even finish the first 15%, which usually isn’t good. I still wanted to give it a try someday but since demon grinding was taking up most of my time, I decided not to bother for the time being.

Now, fast forward to January of this year. I decided to hang around my little sister and try building again. And this time, something really sparked. Something really made me wanna keep building this, and it was a feeling I hadn’t felt in a LONG time, real shit. And eventually building this became really important to me.

Unfortunately because of that, it did make me stop caring as much to demon grind like I had before. But knowing the fact that it was possible for me to finish a 2.1 solo in the first place made me wanna focus as much as I could towards it. Which is why for the past 3 months, I kept my attention to this.

And with the amount of attention and interest that it caught from other people, it made me even more motivated to keep this project alive, where Hate Everything eventually reached a point that finishing it was almost a guarantee. Every other 2.1 solo before this was unfinished and didn’t even reach the 50% mark in terms of decoration, and even when I completed my 1.6 solos those were still just 1.6. I never had a fully finished 2.1 lvl that I could confidently say “this is what my potential as a creator is.” But with this completed once and for all, I can now say that.

Unfortunately after a while I hit a wall and slowed way back down again, and it made decorating the last 25% I had left pretty hard for me to do. At the end of it all, I’m not as proud as I thought I would be but I for sure achieved what I originally wanted to with this and I should recognize that.

So thank you to everyone who was patient and waited for so long for me to complete this once and for all. I’m not sure when my next level will be but you never know when that spark will come back ;)

Another 100 demons in just 5 days, that rate just seems incredible to me. And for this particular demon milestone, I decided to beat a level pretty important to me…

Me and Xuser are actually friends; we met quite some time ago and I saw this level in the making. It came out great, and not long after it got rated which I was pretty glad to see

However I never decided to do it until. Mainly because I wanted to save it for a special occasion, but I also wasn’t certain on the difficulty. I knew it was insane demon, but how hard of one?

After a while, I saw that Jenny beat it, so I figured it wouldn’t be that hard if she decided to beat it herself as well. And after some thinking, I settled that I would do this as my 1500th demon.

And man, this is probably the most fun level that I’ve done for one of these demon milestones. The only thing that I didn’t really enjoy about it was some of the first spider. Everything was super fun! I would definitely recommend trying this out

Oh man where do I even begin…

Well first off, I’m really happy with my pace with demon grinding currently: I beat another 100 demons in 8 days, which is a really good pace to me. But now about this level…

I actually first heard about this level several months ago. I did plan on beating it sometime, but unfortunately I got caught into a lot of other things like extreme demons (which I’ve stopped playing for a little while as of now) and just regular demon grinding to get closer to my goal of beating every easy demon. Because of this, I put this level on hold for a while.

Then after demon grinding for a while, I decided that maybe I should actually do this for one of my milestones instead. I debated on this for a little while, and ultimately decided around the time when I was doing Ultraviolet that I would try doing Sound Journey as my milestone demon for 1400 demons.

It was about time I did a funny bad level for a milestone, so I figured it was perfect. So I had recently picked up a copyable to start practicing it again and ended up beating it today!

Now if you didn’t know, this level is notorious for having a lot of issues and overall being buggy. I knew this and still decided to go for it anyway. It was a pain to go through with, but I ended up completing it once and for all, and now I can say I did it.

Level itself has some really cool decoration and gameplay gimmicks honestly, so I think it is kinda cool in that regard. However it’s not really something I would recommend actually playing, because this level can get frustrating very quickly, especially due to its balancing.

Anyway, two of the three levels in the light ray series done (Infrared, Ultraviolet ✅, Gammaray ✅), and also 1200 demons! I must say though, out of all the milestone demons I’ve done, this one has probably been my least favorite so far.

I know a lot of people see Gammaray as the worst one in the series which I can respect, but for me, playing Ultraviolet and seeing how buggy it was and how unpolished the gameplay is? To me it feels like it’s miles worse than Gammaray ever was. I’m probably on my own with that one though since I’m one of the very few Gammaray enjoyers out there lol

None of the duals besides the one in Hinds’s part were fun. The transitions in several of the parts, mainly into Viprin’s but also into Toxic’s and Minesap’s are very poor. And lastly, the gameplay overall isn’t very well balanced. I would go into more detail, but I feel like I’ve said enough and I also don’t want to turn this description into an essay of how regrettable of a decision doing this for a milestone was so yea. Will just say, I do not recommend this, and I’ll leave it there.

Now I’m back into the demon grinding groove again, so I’ll try to work more to see if I can get all the easy demons done, because I’m very determined to get there; just a matter of time :)

Subperfect 2022-08-31 | I only have a partial recording of this, because I was originally planning to grind this out until I finished it, so I figured there wasn’t really a need to record the full attempt that I got 96%.

However as you can probably tell by the date in the corner of the vid, that time has passed a while ago, and I no longer want to put effort into trying to beat this as my new hardest anymore. Every other victor of this level is better than me anyway, so you might as well praise them for their efforts instead of me.

I won’t say that I’m not gonna ever touch it again, but don’t expect me to finish this off either. That is my choice and no one is going to convince me out of it aside from myself.

Almost a year of creating this on and off, thinking of ideas and trying to hold myself from releasing early (lol), I’m proud to release my best level yet: Snubby.

I would like to give some context though as to what my next plans are and why this took so long. But I would first like to thank you guys for your patience, as this took much MUCH longer than initially expected.

After I had finished False Memory and Beta X, I wanted to get myself into the groove of making more 1.6 levels for the fun of it. I felt as though it would be neat to have more of them under my name so why not?

As a result I started this level near the end of September of 2021, and throughout the lifetime of the project I was slowly thinking up ideas for this level. However, I decided not to choose a specific theme because I enjoy mixing a jumble of ideas together without a rhyme or reason, because it tends to be more fun for me that way.

Funnily enough this still took a lot longer to make than I had originally anticipated. Why was that the case though? I’ll try to keep this explanation as short as I can:

Looking back at False Memory and Beta X, I still like them a lot. But, one thing that I noticed was that they both relied on a large use of changing the z layering in order to make the designs, which I suppose isn’t necessarily a problem. If you want to upload levels to the 1.6 GDPS however, things tend to get wacky if you decide to export a level with a lot of varying z layer usage.

So knowing this fact, I decided to try and not only make the designs for this the best I could, but additionally I forced myself not to change the z layering for anything, as to make the export to the 1.6 servers as smooth as I can make it.

And as a result, the combo of challenging myself as well as my initial ambitions led this project to take damn near a year to complete. And this definitely isn’t the best effort someone could make for a challenge like this but I would say I did a very good job with the restrictions I set for myself.

And I would like to say, if there’s anyone out there who would like to help me give this level more attention to try and get it rated, that would be very VERY appreciated. I am of course happy with how this came out, but it would be cool to finally get that bonus along with it, yknow? :)

Wow I can’t believe I beat this one LOL was expecting it to take me a lot longer

This level was something thay I decided to pick up randomly; I had ended up getting really good progress on it and I felt like it was really worth doing (it was) but I wanted to not play it too much as to not ruin my experience.

I got 85% not too long after I started it, and every now and then I would play it although I wouldn’t play it that excessively. Then I picked it up again, did 28% - 100%, and then beat it soon after LOL

I’ll say, only problem that I really didn’t like much was Giron’s part: it’s really difficult compared to the rest especially on mobile, however when you do pull it off it feels really satisfying

Also, definitely has to be one of my favorite levels out there. This level probably shouldn’t be as cool to me as it is, but I still find it that way and it’s gonna stay that way for me :)

(Mobile) Mangut 2022 by Mangut Complete (Unrated Demon)

Another @mangut3954 level has been released, and wow is it a treat!

You’ve probably been able to tell, but Mangut is a creator who’s caught my eye as of recent; ever since I first played Husband (aka Ehemann) I realized that he has a lot of potential as a creator.

Fast forward a bit, and he released Grandfather. I did beat that, but unfortunately never got around to uploading it. But now he’s released his newest (and imo his greatest) level to date: Mangut 2022.

You can tell that he’s using 2003devin’s style as a reference for his style, but so much of the level is filled to the brim with unique deco and ideas that many people wish they could make like Mangut does.

And on top of that, this is probably his most fun level too! So I would say this is definitely worth a shot; I would say it’s a solid medium demon. And hey, hopefully this can get him his third rated level along with Ehemann and Grandfather, because I def think it’s deserved for an amazing level like this.

Man, this level has been a trip, but a good one. When I first heard a lot of conversations spark about this level, it was very mixed. A lot of people said that they liked it, but there was also a lot of people who hated it. So, this made me become very indifferent to Acu as a whole, and I had never really decided to get anywhere near it.

However, when I beat Epsilon, I decided I also wanted to give this a shot because it was something I wanted to at least try for a long time, so I picked it up the same day.

Really, I have a lot more I wanna say about this level, but I’m gonna try to keep it short; this level is AMAZING.

It quickly grew on me, and from start to finish this was a blast to do, even with my deaths at 85%, 89% and 98%. The gameplay was some of the most fun gameplay that I have honestly ever played, and I’m impressed.

The deco is awesome too; the block designs, pulses, and color combos work with the song so well, that even with the many other levels I’ve seen with this song, their theming in comparison doesn’t come close.

And now after completing it, I can say that this level has taken the spot from Colorful Overnight as my new favorite level that I’ve ever played. Thank you Neige for the banger level :)

So I’m gonna try and keep this short, because I know if I don’t stop myself I’ll write a whole damn Holy Bible about how my luck with extremes sucks and why it still hasn’t changed. I’ll still dwell on it obviously but I’ll keep it to a minimum

I started Epsilon right at the beginning of June, and seeing how my progress was going with the first few days I thought that I could do this fairly quickly, kinda like I did with Aftermath. I even got 82% within a few days, so to me that felt like solid proof that I could do it eventually

Oh how wrong I was… yet again when am I not with these kind of things?

Well big shocker to the new visitors of my channel, I had some very lovely (pointing out the blatant sarcasm) luck for the rest of the THREE WEEKS I played this. I know that something of this difficulty in a month is impressive, but it doesn’t help not irk me considering how quickly I progressed within the first week, and seeing how most of the time after that was basically filler.

And it’s a shame too, because I like this level a decent amount. It definitely has some oddball parts as well as some that I think aren’t really constructed well in terms of gameplay, but it’s genuinely a really cool level.

But I’ll save my ranting and raving for someone’s DMs bc I’ve had enough of talkin, thank you to everyone who stuck by because today has been insane :)

Man oh man, even though this only took a week, a quite stressful week it was.

I did make progress on this fairly quickly which was nice, but due to some of the luck I was being given on not only this but also many other extremes that I was playing, I started to become pretty demotivated.

I had only played this one day prior in the past before I decided to pick it back up again several days ago. I got 21% - 100% on my third day, which gave me a lot of hope in doing this. However after a few days in, my emotions started getting the better of me and made me contemplate playing not only this, but playing any other extremes

Thankfully I was able to finish this very quickly and not elevate my stress anymore than I already have, and I’ve gotten one of the many extreme demons I’ve been working on off the table! That’s a pretty nice feeling for once :)

I would say this level actually isn’t too bad, but just play it with caution. It’s pretty easy to tell that since it’s a Stormfly extreme it’ll be a hassle, so definitely try to stay patient if you give this one a shot

Man oh man, ever since I saw this level way back in 2.0 it always intrigued me. Honestly, even now it does. I mean with a name like “Hate War” it seems as though it will be a very strange level, which it in fact is

In case you don’t know, this level is a remake of an older level with the same name by Sary. Why out of all levels was this chosen to be a remake? I don’t have an idea honestly, but all I know is that this is by far one of the strangest extreme demons I’ve ever beaten to date, and you honestly can’t really dwell into much stranger territory without stepping upon the lands of something like 2.0 extreme demons

This level didn’t really give me that bad of an experience either. After I picked it up again, I was able to make quick progress, and before you know it, a day and a half passed and I beat it lol

I am very glad to get this done after so many years, and hey maybe I can try to finish up some other extremes I’ve been snoozing on too, who knows?

MAN what a day, first I beat The Secret Box by Metalface and then I beat this, today has been sweet for insane demons :)

First things first: yes I think this is easier than Retention on mobile

With that out of the way, this is something that I wanted to do practically a few months after I first started playing the game. When I started, ICDX was still a top 50 demon, and with its popularity it kinda has a special place in my heart, even though it’s mostly revered as being a bad level

Now, for the majority of the time that I played this it wasn’t even really that bad of an experience. Maybe that’s due to playing it on and off instead of fully committing to it, but I really didn’t hate playing this

However I will say its problems are very prevalent, and have been for several years. This level being carried by the ship sections is a pretty big issue especially with a ship like the one at 67%, where you have BUSHES, every player’s worst enemy. The word is enough to send a shiver up any player’s buttcrack…

I would only recommend this level in certain scenarios. If you need a level to help you gain more skill with ship-carried levels, or you just need to get better at ship in general, then this might be able to work, although there are more than likely other alternatives out there that would be better

Overall though, decent level.

Wow I accidentally fell asleep during my premiere again 😐 and this time I forgot to write a description beforehand

But anyways yeah, 900 demons! The final stretch has finally started, and it only took me about 16 days to get from 800 to 900, which I am really impressed about. I have no idea how long these last 100 will take me, but it’ll be interesting to see where it goes from here :P

So about the level, Rearmed is a bit of a special level for me. Definitely and iconic one, in fact. Around the time when I started playing GD, this is one of the first levels I ever saw from GD YouTube. And just like a lot of the older levels I saw in the past (like Volcanic Rush or NC or Laser Room) I wanted to do it someday, however it would definitely take me a longer time than those plainly due to the difficulty of Rearmed.

And honestly even now I was still pretty intimidated by Rearmed when I chose it to do for my 900th. I mean, looking at unconventional gameplay most of the time gives that feeling, but I was still nervous about it regardless

Luckily for me this level was really fun for me to do! It also didn’t take me too long considering that I picked it up yesterday and beat it this morning, which is pretty nice! The dual was definitely the hardest part to get used to, but you can get consistent at it eventually, and the rest of the gameplay also isn’t too bad to build consistency on either

Would I recommend people do it? Honestly yeah, it could help build a better tolerance for unconventional gp as well as really difficult and obscure dual type gp, so I think it is worth a shot. And of course I am pretty happy to get this beast of a level finally done after so much time :)

Now, it is time to get to 1000! ;)

(Mobile) Effot by Ozpectro Complete (Insane Demon)

Originally completed 31 days ago (March 12).

As you may have seen from my last vid’s description (if you cared to read that essay lmao) you’d know that Furffot was the appendant completion to this. And in the aforementioned description, I did explain how this level is a lot better than Furffot.

Now that’s not to say that I think this level is amazing; for the most part I think this level is about the average experience for an easy insane demon. But I would much rather take this.

I’m sure most of us have taken a breath of the Ozpectro style by now, and it’s a pretty neat style. The best way I can describe it is that essentialy it’s like Woogi’s old style, but with a bit of old MaJacko added into the mix. I am fond of this style, and I don’t really find much wrong with it in that regard.

And honestly this level isn’t too bad, but the thing that you gotta be prepared for if you decide to go for this is the large quantity of bugs (which I’m sure basically all of the people who’ve heard of this level know that this is what it’s notorious for).

Overall a decent experience, and one which I would’ve much rather preferred when I was trying to complete Furffot. But what’s done is done, 5/10

Pretty sure I’m first mobile victor of this lvl but who cares

I saw this level get rated recently, and I didn’t really think much of it until I looked into it a bit more and saw that it was actually a remake of Effot, which I beat recently (I’ll upload it soon). So I decided to take it upon myself to beat this too, since I beat Effot already this would be less of a hassle to learn.

And I will say, the decoration of this level is fantastic; you can tell that a lot was done to work around the limitations and this does a pretty good job of that, every deco style in this level looks very nice and well constructed, so I can give credit where credit is due there, Lucky went off while building it and I give mad respect for that.

Unfortunately from there, however, this level does not hold up. From playing both this level and Effot, I can confidently say that Furffot is inferior in damn near every possible way compared to Effot, aside from decoration quality.

The gameplay is pretty much just copy and pasted from Effot, so this level already loses in that regard. But the thing that makes this level even worse is that there were BUFFS implemented, and not good ones either. Every buff feels unnecessary and just there to guarantee it got onto the 1.9 demon list.

It doesn’t help any further that I thought I was inside playing this, but clearly I must’ve been outside, because there are bugs as far as the eye can see here; ants, flies, mosquitoes, roaches, beetles, spiders — anything among the stretches of the imagination — they’re here, and only here to fuck up your day. There are damn near NO fixes compared to the original, besides one at the very start. The bugfix key seems damn near pointless, because it’s only there to fix ONE bug in the whole level. At least it’s better than nothing, but still, please put some more effort in fixes to make the gameplay more bearable.

Moreover, even the decoration itself plays a card in this level’s downfall, because some of the deco makes it difficult to tell what can even kill you. Like genuine question, why are there so many fucking fake spikes? Every single spike here looks real whether it’s fake or not, so I have to really investigate hard to see what killed me instead of just seeing my death and understanding it.

My personal favorite hindrance of this level’s decoration is how it decides to blind you right before the hardest part of the level, and even after you’re done being blinded, the transition itself plays along and decides it wants to be blind too. Come on, what is up with that?

And of course, this level has pretty much no deco cohesion, but this is something that is more of a personal gripe. I don’t care that much about it, but I do realize that it’s enough of a problem to point out.

Overall, I am not a fan of this level, and I don’t recommend anyone play this unless you’ve already beaten Effot prior, but even then I wouldn’t suggest doing so. This level showed good intentions but unfortunately for me fell flat on its face, and the best I can give is a 0/10.

2nd Preview for my 1.6 Level “Snubby”…

Now, with that out of the way, I’ve been working on this quite a bit, especially recently. I’ve made a lot of progress on it since the first preview almost half a year ago (good fuckin god) and the 1.6 cut of the level is about 70% done as of currently, which is pretty neat!

Now, I have no idea when I’ll finish it because I’m mostly focused on demon grinding, but I’ll try to work on it more so I can finally release another solo level :)

Ah hell yeah this level is heat 🔥🔥🔥

Okay, all jokes aside, I am really happy to get 800 demons, only took me about a month since I got 700 demons so I’m making pretty good progress to get 1000 in June!

But now, about the level 😈

I’m sure a lot of you have seen the emote of the magnificent skull from various GD servers already, and if you haven’t then I have a treat for you.

Now clearly, this level is quite the 2.0 disaster: janky gameplay, random bugs, unbalanced gameplay — it has the works. And has a trash demon enthusiast, I had to give this a try.

Now just like stuff along the lines of Sword Dance and Stalker, I already knew this level was gonna be bad, so I was prepared for the chaos that would ensue. But unfortunately, most of my anger came from my poopoo luck instead of the level itself.

I kept on dying in a lot of places past the second half that were stupid. Most of the deaths were my fault, so it made me feel less upset than if it was a level that was unbalanced. But that’s basically all I can say because this level isn’t good, albeit it’s pretty easy to see why.

And honestly, I’m just excited to get another step closer to 1000 demons soon! And since my goal is in June, I think I’ll be able to get there in pace. 4/10
