[NA Reboot] Night Lord #1 Punch King - 8.28 seconds Howurd 2023-10-04 | DISCLAIMER: Ping played a significant factor in getting the fastest time for NLs. In this run, I reached stage 12 in 1.63 seconds (normally it's 1.8 to 2.4), but for some NLs of similar strength, it ranged from 2 to 3.5 seconds. Even a one second advantage due to ping made it impossible for certain NLs that are stronger than me gear wise to compete.The flip side of low ping is my fatal was exactly 2.0 seconds this run... so in hindsight, if I timed my fatal a bit later, the run would've probably been faster. I had an 8 second fatal with the same execution, but because it took longer to get to stage 12, the overall run was longer.Special thanks to the people who helped me optimize my gear/link/legion/fams specifically for this.

Since I am not a fan of going for double primes, I've been working on a second main over the past year. I am fairly bad at playing this class because of NL brain, but I do enjoy playing this class. The beginning was a mess but recovered it at the end.

This was done during haste (10min rune cd / +100% rune exp) and 100% burning in map so the BA is inflated quite a bit. Sorry if this video is a bit blurry, not sure why that happened.

Almost forgot guild skills and scuffed my first burst because of it. Definitely was the hardest quest for me personally only because Hard Will is easy as an NL.Special thanks to Casey for helping me with reminders and giving me the idea of cleansing on Ctrl since I am slow at cleansing lol.

[GMS Reboot] Genesis Mission Part 7: Traces of Lucid, Keeper of Nightmares (Boss Fight) Howurd 2021-01-04 | I got really lucky and should not have cleared. Survived one bomb because of shade link and got into p3 with a bomb and did not know it goes away if you phase. I used a BA to help time the bombs in p2 since they are roughly every 90 seconds and hero/erda will can block it. I only was able to block bombs once that run though.Special thanks as always to Casey (SuchADupa) for buffing me before the run. [GMS Reboot] Black Mage Clear #6 - SpreadStory Howurd 2021-01-04 | Took two tries to clear this month. With the BA being fixed, you can really see how much of a burst class Night Lord is. Was playing really aggressively in p4 with spread since I had the lives to spare and was wanting to see how much I could do. [GMS Reboot] Night Lord Equipment Update (12/13/2020) Howurd 2020-12-13 | I've been asked every now and then for an updated equipment video so here it is. Honestly, not too many additional gains from the last gear video made last year since there is not much left to do and I am not interested in going for godly flames or double priming equipment since that can be very costly.In terms of future progression, possibly trying to 22 the rest of my arcanes since the droplet and boss drop buff rate is coming next week, but it can be a huge meso sink. If everything goes to plan, I should have a liberated genesis claw in March and would ideally want three line attack on it, but I probably will settle with 23att 30boss if I get that first.
[GMS Reboot] Genesis Mission Part 6: Traces of Will, the King of Spiders (Boss Fight) Howurd 2020-12-07 | Really pumped up about this clear, phase three went so well with only three lives lost! Took five attempts to clear this time. Could have cleared the attempt before, but I forgot to buy buff freezers like a dummy, but the run was nowhere clean as this one. [GMS Reboot] Black Mage Clear #5 - Night Lord PoV! Howurd 2020-12-01 | Finally cleared as a Night Lord and only took one try this month. Almost choked yet again with one life left, but my party carried me phase 4! Special thanks to Ming (Barey) for being our timekeeper as always.
[GMS Reboot] Night Lord Solos Hard Will Howurd 2020-11-29 | Took roughly ~15 attempts to clear this (ran eight times in one day lol), but Night Lords have it pretty easy compared to other classes with the new 5th job skill. When doing the liberation quest, you take 10% more damage so I have to improve on my mechanics a bit more to clear. My apologies for forgetting to record the audio, I will try to remember for the liberation quest kill.Special thanks to Allen (Grunde) for teaching me the "sweet spot" in p3 and for Casey (SuchADupa) for dooring and reminding me of stuff while I am inside the fight.

[GMS Reboot] Black Mage Clear #4 - Living on the Edge Howurd 2020-11-05 | Almost threw this run badly, but made it to the end. Took four tries this month to clear. No more green bind cheese in phase 3 and for the first two runs I ran as an NL and the CM was a Bucc, but the runs were noticeably slower. Hopefully next clear is as an NL, please give new 5ths already :)
[GMS Reboot] Genesis Mission Part 4: Traces of Lotus, the Wing Master (Boss Fight) Howurd 2020-10-06 | Had to do this fight as a Night Lord because doing it as a Dual Blade would not be a challenge. The restriction for this fight is -20% final damage, but did not feel too bad because I hard buffed. Really sucks how spread's bottom line still does not hit in phase three. This fight was pretty nerve-wracking near the end. Had three deaths to no delay suns :) Still pretty rusty being a Night Lord since I am so used to all the luxurious things when bossing as a DB (buffing/attacking in dark sight, having a "rush" skill, having two iframes, having a super stance skill).As always, special thanks to Casey (SuchADupa) for giving me WH buff + Domain before entering the fight.
[GMS Reboot] Genesis Mission Part 3: Traces of the Tyrant Magnus (Boss Fight) Howurd 2020-10-04 | Lowkey thought this boss would just die in one spread with just a green potion, but took a bit longer than expected. This boss fight brings back so much nostalgia as I used to solo this boss on my Dark Knight in regular servers to sell tyrant capes. I didn't bother uploading the first 2 missions (Von Leon & Arkarium) since they just died instantly.Next is Hard Lotus which I am doing as a Night Lord so scuffed clear of that coming soon :)
[GMS Reboot] Black Mage Clear #3 - Greed Howurd 2020-10-03 | Happy with this month since it only took 2 tries to clear. We tried something a bit different in phase 3 where we would sometimes DPS outside of burst. I think it made the run faster, but I definitely lost a lot of lives as a result to that and started playing a lot safer near the end. Still greeding to DPS and losing a lot of lives as a result, but was not punished too hard and got lucky a lot in some scenarios.I am excited for next month because I will try to do a few attempts as an NL (and CM as a Bucc) potentially, but we will see how that goes.Special thanks again to Casey (SuchADupa) for WH buffing us again for every run :D

Switched out our Paladin for a Luminous who never had any practice, but he learned very quickly.
