Lion Rampant fun hyw game with guests Grahams Wargame Vault 2026-02-02 | My Farnborough Wargames Club, was approached by a American family, on holiday in London, their son follows Alex's and my YouTube channels. he wanted to come meet us, we thought we could give them a game, so we set up a simple LR scenario and entrained them. Black Powder Napoleonics battle of Vimeiro Grahams Wargame Vault 2026-01-05 | here is a fun game against AleX, at Farnborough Wargames Club. We try to play part of a battle, of the Peninsular battle of Vimeiro, in 1808. All the mini's are mine, so was really pleased to get them out on the table. We was both very rusty with the rules, so make some mistakes, we capture most of them, It was still great to play and we will be definitely play again, but with hopefully less mistakes. Massive Black Powder Napoleonic Cavalry battle Grahams Wargame Vault 2025-12-10 | Here is a very large Napoleonic Cavalry battle, no infantry what so ever. we had to tinker with stamina a bit with most going from 3 to 6, as cavalry are quite brittle. It was a battle in or around Leipzig. great fun and very bloody.
Table top Gridiron Heroes game report Grahams Wargame Vault 2025-12-07 | Here is a table top game of American Football i played against Christophe at Reading Wargames Club. I played it in the last 1980s at Farnborough, the last season we has 24 different team, in a league. The rules were originally Gridiron Heroes, but we adapted and improved them over 3 complete seasons. the pitch was in my loft for 33 years before i got it down, using my Denver Broncos, i played against my mates New Orleans Saints. We played slowly, got plenty of rules wrong, but it still gave a great game. If you play Bloodbowl, you will i am sure really like it.at the end i review the rules and add a flow chart for game sequence (i will i had done that before we started).It was a great fun game and has such potential.
