The mother honey badger came charging at the leopard not caring about the possibility of her becoming an afternoon snack as well. She just wanted to save her cute baby at any cost. The hissing and snarling big cat got started by this unexpected attack and lept high up into the air dropping the baby honey badger on the floor. But the mother of the baby animal wasn’t done teaching the leopard a lesson yet. She chased the leopard away into nearby trees by hissing angrily at it. Once she was satisfied that the attacker was at a safe distance from her injured babies, the honey badger ran back to them and stood guard to protect them until help arrived. Royal Bengal tigers may be royals in their own world but when they threaten an animal mother with her cub in her territory, there’s gonna be some trouble. That’s exactly what caused this 15 minutes battle in the Tadoba National Park in Maharashtra, India. In this tense face-off caught on camera, we can see a sloth bear desperately trying to protect her cub as the tiger attacked them. The intense animal attack continued for almost five hours according to Akshay Kumar as the bear kept charging at the tiger. Meanwhile, the bear cub ran away to save its life. Both the animals suffered multiple injuries during the fight.
4. Opossum mom
Kangaroos aren’t the only animals that carry their kids in their pouch until they’re ready for the world, opossum mothers do it too. However, unlike the kangaroos, the pouch is actually vertical not horizontal like we've seen in the Disney movies. When this opossum mother arrived at WildCare’s Wildlife Hospital, the baby opossums were just about the size of jelly beans. When the babies leave their amazing mothers' tummies, they don’t go about the world like other animals. They get into their mother's belly pouch where they get their milk. If anyone deserves a mother’s day wish, it’s the mommy opossum.
5. The giant pacific octopus mom
If anyone can beat the Harp Seals in dedication towards their children, it’s the giant pacific octopus. They’re the most dedicated mothers who save their babies at any cost, even if it means putting their own life to an end. These octopuses live in the darkest depths of the ocean and start their lives as tiny little blobs. During the next four years of their lives, they grow massive, reaching up to 272 kgs. The average weight of the giant pacific octopus is around 50 kgs which still makes them one of the largest species of octopuses. Once they reach adulthood, the males mate with the females and quickly after go through a behavioral change called senescence. It essentially means that they’ll starve until they pass away.

2. The Kayan
Women of this usual tribe identify themselves by their forms of dress. Women of the Kayan Lahwi tribe are well known for wearing neck rings, and brass coils that are placed around the neck, appearing to lengthen it. The women wearing these coils are known as "giraffe women" to tourists. Girls first start to wear rings when they are around 5 years old. One fact about this strange tribe is, that over the years, the coil is replaced by a longer one and more turns are added.
3. The Totobiegosode
The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights has urged Paraguay to stop wrong deforestation in Ayoreo Totobiegosode, an ancestral territory in the Chaco forest that’s home to the last uncontacted indigenous tribe south of the Amazon basin.
Totobiegosodes, who are considered the most mysterious tribes of all the Ayoreo groups, have lived in the Paraguayan Chaco for over half a century. This uncontacted tribe first came into contact with outsiders in the 1940s and 1950s, according to Latin Correspondent, when Mennonite farmers sought to develop colonies on Ayoreo land.
This mysterious event has an enormous impact on the Ayoreo Totobiegosode’s way of life and ability to survive in that region. We just hope that this not so dangerous tribe becomes a lost tribe.
4. The Mascho Piru
You may hear about the mysterious tribe on North Sentinal Island, this strangest tribe vigorously reject all contact with outsiders. But now I am going to tell you about another Stone Age tribe which you don’t want to meet. The ultimate fact is this mysterious tribe is also considered one of the most dangerous tribes for the fear that they might spread disease to the neighboring village as they did not grow immunity.
The Mashco-Piro or Mascho Piro, also known as the Cujareño people and Nomole, are an indigenous tribe of nomadic hunter-gatherers who inhabit the remote regions of the Amazon rainforest. They live in Manú National Park in the Madre de Dios Region in Peru. They have in the past actively avoided contact with non-native peoples.
5. Mursi Tribe from Ethiopia
Mursi, or Mursu or Mun as they refer to themselves, are a Nilotic pastoralist ethnic group in Ethiopia.
The men practice light scarification on their shoulders after ending an enemy, and shave geometric patterns on their heads. During dances and ceremonies they adorn literally every part of their body with white chalk paint. Young unmarried men practice group stick fights. The winner is carried on top of poles to girls waiting beside the arena, who decide among themselves which of them will ask his hand in marriage.
6. Masai Tribe
This dangerous tribe has a few mysterious videos you won’t believe exists. They are the most unusual tribe in the world.
Spitting at someone in most cultures around the world is seen as rude or uncivilized but not for the Maasai people, who live in Kenya and northern Tanzania. Now occupying a much smaller area in the Kajiado and Narok districts since their vast territory has been taken over by some of Kenya’s game reserves, the Maasai is one of the most popular and unique African tribes due to their long preserved culture.
Accounting for only about 0.7 percent of Kenya’s population, with a similar number in Tanzania, the Maasai are considered to be one of East Africa’s most internationally well-known tourist attractions.

However, The redtail catfish is not an aggressive hunter; they prefer to sit up-river rapids actively waiting for the current to deliver vulnerable prey to them.
This primarily carnivorous fish gains most of its food by feeding on other small fish and may also attack humans just in case it mistakes you for prey.

This is a terrifying and big fish of the Amazon River. Wolffish derive their name from the shape of their teeth. The front teeth are small and sharp and behind them are molar teeth. These teeth are well designed to capture and crush the prey. It is the only fish capable of crushing hard shells. Large shells ingested by wall fish may later be released through wastes.
Surprisingly, the wall fish loses its teeth at least once in a year for about three months during its spamming period to protect the eggs.

Kajiura, a professor at Florida Atlantic University, was one of the researchers who worked to identify the shark when it was discovered almost 17 years ago.

The creature was about 10 to 12 feet long—small for a giant squid, which can reach upward of 40 feet.

A team of scientists have discovered a strange animal in Indonesia. The species, which has been named Hyorhinomys stuempkei - hog-nosed rat - has "distinct and unique features uncommon to other rats", they said. Five of the rodents were discovered on Sulawesi Island earlier in January by researchers from Australia, Indonesia and the US. Obviously its nostrils which resemble a hog's, are very unique. But it also has a long face and larger ears for a rat of its size and lower teeth which are more in common with shrew rats.

When 75-year-old Pk Krishnamurthy went to see the doctors at Fortis hospital, Mumbai, India, no one was prepared for what was about to be revealed. Krishnamurthy had been experiencing itching in his right eye for almost two weeks. At first, the doctors gave him some medication to help with the itching but none of them worked. Upon taking a closer look, the horrified doctor discovered a five-inch-long worm wiggling and swimming inside his eyes. He was then rushed to the operation theatre where the doctor removed the worm alive from under the conjunctiva.

Shyam Lal Yadav, a 74-year-old farmer from India had an unusual problem. After he bumped his head years ago, he started noticing an abnormal growth on his skull. It was a tumor called sebaceous horn that’s made of the same keratin that we see in our hair and nails. Initially, Yadav’s barber used to cut it a little to keep it from growing too long. But after the growth started speeding up, Yadav had to seek medical help to remove it. These tumors are usually benign and don’t cause much trouble apart from the cosmetic perspective.

The first step in Brumley's treatment was a diet restricted to 1200 calories per day, which made him lose 167.5 pounds in only 40 days.

Stratosphere is a hotel and casino located in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. The new name is the Strat Hotel that includes a 1,149 ft. observation tower, the tallest in the United States. The tower is topped by a pod which includes a revolving restaurant, lounges, and observation decks. The top of the tower also has several thrill rides.
