John Michaelson
One of the strangest claims I've ever heard laid to rest. No, the moon isn't "cartwheeling" and rolling all over the place inexplicably, field rotation from rising to setting makes Tycho's orientation to my location move from about the 5:30 position on the moon's face to 9:00 over the course of a night. That's it. It's not at the top as this person keeps claiming without evidence. It's exactly where it's supposed to be and as will be seen with Stellarium, exactly where predicted.

Equipment used was an Afedri-SDR radio with a Wellbrook ALA1530LNP active loop on a 15' mast oriented at about 100°/280°. SDR Console is the software used for display. Location: near Tooele, UT.
Come along for a little scenery and some AM radio slogans and idents from south of the Border. I've heard idents from 32 stations at 11 locations so far, the most distant being three from Mexico City running at high power. The most exotic is daytime-only XEQIN from San Quintin, Baja California heard under deeply nulled KSL. 50,000-watt KSL being clear channel has very little competition, and I'm less than 20 miles from its transmitter. At 25:44 there is an erroneous label, it should be 1030 XESDD, not 1090 XEPRS.
Equipment: Afedri SDR radio, Wellbrook ALA1530LNP active loop antenna, audio captured with SDR-Radio Console v3 and post-processed with Adobe Audition to reduce noise.

Since I live in Utah it's hard to call this "DX", or long distance reception, but a few are tough nonetheless. 1490 KZEZ, which rarely idents, and 1490 KCPX are usually lost beneath 1490 KOGN. 1340 KTMP has a spotty history of transmission. 820 KUTR is accidentally labeled South Salt Lake in the video, it's actually in Taylorsville. 1580 KWLO I put Springfield for some reason, it's Springville.
Played through DosBox, F-19 is available at GOG.com
